• Annie (10/5): The perfect little guest house! - Barlow's Vista is such a sweet little place to stay! The host Tara has really thought of everything - it was comfy, stylish, and there were just so many extra little touches that made the stay so nice! We loved we could bring our puppy, and the backyard was the perfect little size for him to be in for a weekend away. At first I was a little worried with how our noisy kids would go in a guest house attached to someone's home, but it was set back and very private. Beautiful views from the front patio, and super close to all the beaches of Yeppoon. We would love to stay here again! While it is only 700m from the beach, they don't call the suburb Barlow's Hill for nothing! It's better suited to a quick 1 minute drive down to the beach rather than a walk up and down the hill - especially if you have 3 little ones in tow like we did!

• Wayne (9/5): Great place to relax - Tara was excellent in communication & helpful whenever needed. It was Xmas time & the unit was decorated in Xmas theme & goodies were left in the fridge, which was a lovely gesture. The kitchen was also well stocked with condiments & pantry items, even down to foil & cliplock bags. There was even a "zester" in the drawer, came in handy when making goodies for Xmas & Boxing Day. We really enjoyed our 6night stay. Not appropriate if you are "disabled" as would be hard to manage some steps outside & inside the unit in a wheelchair.

• Lindy (9/5): - Facilities - had everything in the unit one could possibly need or want. Very clean & modern facilities. Full size fridge/freezer. We'll equipped kitchen. Beautiful view. Parking immediately outside unit. Lovely & friendly owner. Towels were a little hard but I'm just being a bit picky now as it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

• Val (10/5): Lovely pet friendly holiday home - close to beach and town - The little touches such as dog toys,bowls, and treats and a secure back yard for Evee to roam and do her business first thing in the morning and last thing at night without me having to take her out. The chocolates in the fridge and all other necessities were welcomed.

I rent quite a few properties that I take my dogs to and even though they say dogs allowed very really do they come equipped for them? Barlows vista was perfectly pet friendly Completely Fence in backyard and high fences Lots of shade and beautiful grass Even a Dog bed and shelter. The extra special touches were very appreciated, chocolates tea, and coffee Nothing

• Bec (10/5): A++++ accommodation with an amazing host! - Absolutely everything!! The host is simply amazing!! Super clean and a gorgeous apartment that smelt DIVINE! The little touches were amazing - chocolates for us, treats for our dog! The courtyard was a great spot for the dog to chill out. Nothing!

• Karen (9/5): Everything you need. - Exceptionally clean and fresh. Very well equiped with anything you would need. Lots of little touches were very welcoming. Hosts readily available if needed. A little bit out of the main part of town with shops and cafes, but that did mean it was nice and quiet.
• Joe (9/5): Great host, great view. - Host was very accommodating and made everything run very smoothly. Felt very welcomed. Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Superb ocean view that was a delight to get up early and spend a few quiet minutes taking in. This was a perfect short stop for us. The one room for all four would have been an issue on a longer stay at the age my kids are at but for the brief stopover it was not a drama.

• Michelle (10/5): The Guesthouse was perfect for our family weekend. It lacked nothing and the attention to detail was great! - The guesthouse was exactly as it was described. It was cute and more than comfortable for our family. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. The attention to details was perfect. The beds were comfy, the shower amazing. The Photos were exactly how it looked in the advert.

Also very thoughtfully furnished and supplied with treats by Tara. This was a wonderful start to our Winter break from freezing Victoria. Nothing negative to say.

They were there if we needed them but allowed us the privacy we needed to chill and enjoy the view and accomodation.. A secure garden for fur baby too. There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Alice (9/5): Lovely stay-cay for friends, families & pups! - Everything has been thought of! Accomodating for absolutely anyone & everyone, fur babies included! We stayed over the Easter weekend and were welcomed with some Easter choccies & decorations. Lovely location. We will definitely be back! Nothing to dislike. If you are staying here when it’s very windy outside, there are things blowing & banging around at the back of the property which kept us awake however we still loved it.
• Grant (10/5): Loved It! Would Not Hesitate To Book Again - The location was great on a quiet suburban street. The apartment is really cute and set up well, it had everything we needed. We travelled with our dog and they even had bowls and toys set up. What really impressed me was the very secure little yard that we could safely leave our dog in, it wasn't just some half fenced area, it was walled in, which means I didn't have to worry about my pet stressing seeing the neighbours dogs or barking at strangers (as she was in a strange area, everyone was a stranger). We liked everything. I would warn people if they have mobility issues the stairs are a little steep (we were with my elderly mother in law) and we just kept the light on in case she needed to use the toilet at night.

• Perks (10/5): Beautiful attached one bedroom unit. Immaculate and well thought out set up. - Had a relaxed weekend with family, visited the beach nearby, hired a tennis court and drank good coffee. Well located attached unit, private, friendly but respectful host. Immaculately cleaned on arrival. Would stay here again with family.

• Sasika (10/5): A HOME AWAY FROM HOME - Structure of this house is so attractive. Well planned in a small area to be spacious.They really mean it when they said pet allowed. All the facilities are there to accommodate fur babies. All new kitchenette and bathroom. The view, there's no words to describe it. Have to see it.10/10 for cleanliness even it's a pet friendly accommodation. It's actually surprisingly feels like your own home away from home.

• Karen (9/5): A nice place to stay. - The bed was comfy and I loved the plantation shutters. The overall ambience and decor is very relaxing. The ceiling fans are fantastic! No need to turn on the air conditioners. The patio is nice and the view is lovely. Tara was super friendly and we knew we only had to ask if we needed anything. The nice touches of supplying condiments and food wraps, as well as chocolates and lollies. And I liked how all the wall switches are labelled so you know exactly which one you want. Not so keen on the steep driveway, our car is very low to the ground so we had to be extra careful. The bathroom handbasin is a bit awkward to use, it's very small and there's not much arm room when brushing your teeth. The lounge looks like it could do with a steam clean.

The steps to the bedroom were slippery and a hazard for young kids or the elderly. The driveway was awkward to manoeuvre. The lounge seemed dirty and was uncomfortable.

There were many personal touches from chocolates to generous condiment provision. Lots of clear instructions. No WiFi. We knew in advance that it was NOT advertised on the web. The steep drive might be an issue for some. The bathroom though fully appointed was a bit small

I certainly appreciated the text messages leading up to our stay welcoming us and letting us know what to expect. We brought our pet dog who was very welcomed and accommodated for. The ocean view was spectacular! All we needed to bring was our food and clothing. the amenities were spot on.

Location was close to all amenities, the property was clean, hosts provided an array of unexpected extras like side bumpers for a the bed, which came in extremely handy for our toddler. The bedrooms are quiet, with very comfy beds. The water pressure in the shower was unbelievable and always a plus when away on holidays. The hosts were wonderful, and made sure to message and ensure we were comfortable and find out if we required anything extra. We cannot fault this property and are now looking at booking our next trip in just to stay at Barlows Vista again!
