Guest Reviews

- Garry (9/5): - Good shower, good size room, good AC and tv. Curtains don't exclude light.
The bed was not comfortable.

- Michael (9/5): A very pleasant stay with really good and friendly company. - The rooms while dated were very clean. The lady who runs the pub was so friendly as were all the other staff. It was a cool night so she had a "proper" fire going in the bar area and that is where we had dinner. She and the others stopped and talked to us. We could not have got a better welcome. There was nothing we did not like about the place. The only reason I would not recommend the place for a romantic stay is that there is not much else in the town.
- Inge (9/5): - The owner Helen was exceptional and very friendly and kept us up to date with happenings relating to the hotel

Bed was extremely comfortable (I slept 10 hours). Food was great value for money. Building is showing its age.

- Phillippa (8/5): Very good - Comfortable room. We stayed there on New Year’s Day. The pub was closed but the hotel staff went to the efforts of having dinner service provided. The lamb shanks and parmi were delicious! Only thing - online it states it dog friendly however there are signs everywhere on the property saying no pets/dogs Incorrect advertising for pet friendly accommodation and overpriced
- Patel (6/5): Pleasant - There is no food available around. Even for the hotel food we were not able to get any food during the timings informed by staff. When we went for dinning whole hotel bar and inning were closed.
- Kennedy (5/5): Passable -

- Graeme (5/5): Passable -
- Leanne (5/5): Passable - Staff were friendly and helpful
Best steak I've had in a long time at the hotel
Ground floor Room and one pillow smelled vaguely of smoke
Only one station on the tv.
DVD player in the tv didn't work
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Nothing not to like
- Ella (5/5): Passable -
- Uwe (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (4/5): This town should be bypassed - It was nice to not have a doona on the bed, which most accommodation places seem to have these days, which we always find is much too hot, there was a woolen blanket instead, (a synthetic blanket is almost as bad as a doona). It was also nice that the hotel manager offered to cook us dinner. There are no other facilities in this town that are open at dinner time. The dinner, a reheated chicken parmy, was overcooked though, and we didn't eat much of it. This was our second visit to this Hotel, once heading east, and then again on our return home. However we will not be staying there again. Both times there was no one available to check in, very strangely the Hotel was not open, (not sure if it ever is??) and we had to ring up someone to give us a key to our motel room. This second stay, there was someone staying in the room next door and every sound he made was like there was no wall between us. He got up about 4am, so that was the end of our sleep.
- Caroll (9/5): Superb -
- Roger (10/5): Comfortable and convenient and very quiet - The hotel attached to the motel rooms for drinks and a meal at reasonable prices
