- yonten chhogyal (10/5): Pretty good and will back. - Ease of entry and access Toilet wash basin faucet need modern tap as there are 2 individual hot water and cold water tap instead of one so we could use warm water.
- Noeline (8/5): Loved the location easy access to Restuarant and really lovely staff. 😊 - Really good location staff were very friendly. The mattress protector was well overdue to be replaced.

- Mathieu (6/5): Idéal pour une transition entre le sud et le nord - Le côté historique Mauvaise isolation thermique
- Robyn (8/5): A delightful sleepover on our way to Albany. - Dinner was delicious, a fragrant Sri Lankan style chicken curry, ghee rice and naan. Rani and co were helpful and hospitable. Bedside lights would be nice to have.

- OLIVEA (3/5): Disappointing stay that did not match the price. - Convenient location close to the highway. A vending machine in case you need water, drinks or a snack. For the price, it's not worth it. It should not be called a hotel at all, more like a motel. Some things in the listing are missing: microwave, dining area, dining table. Shower is dirty. Pillows need to be changed asap. Only soap bars provided, no shampoo or conditioner. No sanitary bin. The walls are so thin it was hard to sleep when the neighbours were talking loudly or people outside chatting. The AC unit outside was very very loud so we had to shut it off to be able to sleep. Parking is in a large open red dirt area with many potholes. There was no signage or any indication of where to park. Since the car park has no form of organising, if you parked close to the main building you WILL be blocked by other cars and unable to leave.

- Eddy (5/5): - I had stayed at this hotel before so aws prepared.Accomodation was in single mens quarters But Bed was reasonable and room was clean The hotel is one of the only in two in town so expectations were not high i left before breakfast and returned home
- Susan (5/5): Convenient location, would never stay there again - Basically, we were accomodated in a mining Donga. We were not informed tjis to be the case. The accomodation while clean enough but very very basic. The price was cheap enough, but it was a bit of a shock. I was cold during the night. Two blankets were not warm enough.
- Jacques (7/5): -
- Wayne (3/5): - Accomodation was in a mining ‘donga’ behind the hotel where I thought I was staying. Bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. No towel was provided. No breakfast was available, even to purchase. No towel
Bed was very uncomfortable
No breakfast available
- Igor (8/5): -
- Beth (7/5): Met the requirement - No meals had there Pillows on bed were very hard & solid
- walsh (8/5): -
- Garnet (7/5): - Food was awesome and staff was very helpful and friendly Noise from nearby road
- Rosemaruy (3/5): Not a place I would stay again - Convenience Walked into an unloved property, the room had a large dead huntsman spider beside the bed. The furniture was old and frayed. Needed to ask for fresh towels. The staff were uninterested. Very disappointed.
- Jess (3/5): - Location was convenient Missed breakfast because it finished at 8am, cold water for showers.
- Peter (5/5): - Run down. No personal contact-only by phone although very pleasant. The heating didn’t work and it was a cold night. The blanket provided wasn’t enough.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Brad (9/5): - There is no microwave in the room but there is one in the hotel in The dining room easily accessible. There is a fridge in the room The shower was hot towels were supplied and all clean. The biggest thing that we would encourage the hotel to look into changing was the pillows they were as hard as a brick. The bed was okay. Room was air-conditioned. Everything else is all good. The pillows i’m sure if they fell off the bed, they would damage the floor. They were so hard. there was just no give in them whatsoever.

Managers we’re lovely, friendly and accommodating - Food was great too Nothing
- Ciawy (9/5): A relaxing experience in a quiet town, with a pleasantly surprising dining experience. - The hotel is an old building that has been renovated. The room is rather sparse but good for what it is. It is clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very squeezy as it seems to have been added to the room (which is an old room from the old mining town). Nevertheless, the room is spacious, which testifies to the luxurious nature of the original hotel when it first opened. The hotel was very quiet. When we woke up at night there was not a single person in sight. The price was incredibly worth it. And the greatest hidden gem of the hotel was the incredible food we had for dinner. My steak was superb and my wife's Sri Lankan pork curry was amazing. It almost seemed out of place in such a local hangout pub frequented by locals and miners. We actually enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining area and watching locals hang out as we ate. The only thing that my wife and I had a problem with was the thinness of the walls, which allowed the din from downstairs to come into our room. Granted, it was AFL Grand Final night and it was to be expected. Nonetheless, we got used to it. Still much better than city noises.

- Tanya (3/5): I won't stay there again. - The look of the front of the hotel, the distance to the venue i attended. The ambiance, the entirior looked closed off and dull.
Dinner was from a freezer.
The shower took 5 minutes to warm up.
The back steps are treacherous.
- Lisa (9/5): - Need was very comfy. Shower was wonderful. No WiFi access
- Jennifer (5/5): Bearable. - No Bedside lamp, no bedside table.
It was a very cold evening. Heating didn't heat up the room, though heater going. Too small for the size of the room.
General areas were cluttered, collapsed cardboard boxes on the bar the whole time.
- David (6/5): -
- Danielle (9/5): Tidy, easy stay - Friendly staff, room was clean and tidy with everything I needed for a quick last minute stay.
- Clark (5/5): Abit expensive for what you get - Food is great No wifi
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - Bed and bathroom comfortable. Good access. Suitable soundproofing.
- Peter (3/5): Won't be a second time. - Asked about breakfast and was told the roadhouse down the road. Most everything.

- Jenkins (8/5): We enjoyed our time here and loved the location - The Staff were lovely and very friendly The room was nice the bed was just a bit too hard
- Philip (5/5): This hotel served my purpose well and provided a sufficient level of comfort and reasonable meals. - The staff were helpful for all requests. The meals whilst typical Aussie Pub Fare, were well cooked and had plentiful servings. The hotel is a bit run down and there is a lack of grounds maintenance.
- Andrew (6/5): Pub style stay in Greenbush WA. - Olde world Pub - early 1900’s away from the main street.
Heritage type building. Room was adequate if a little small.
Shower and toilet were up to date
and water was hot.
A/c was ok but having a tall ceiling
meant that it took a while to get the room warm. A blanket was supplied which was good.
Noise from Pub downstairs wasn’t a problem - mainly local workers from the Lithium mine nearby.
- Angela (10/5): You wouldn’t expect 5-star service in a small mining town —but I found the gold! - "It’s a Lithium mine, but there's Gold in Dem That Hills!"
You wouldn’t expect 5-star service in a mining town like Greenbushes—built pretty much for workers. But as a self-confessed corporate princess who loves the finer things, I found the gold.
I arrived late; it was dark and I got horror movie feels. Deserted street, vending machine outside the pub, even a tumbleweed rolling across the road. But the second I walked into the Exchange Hotel, everything changed.
The bar manager, Dehan, couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome and, more importantly, safe. He even upgraded my room since they were quiet. My horror-movie vibe shifted to a 1900s Western, it was so full of character.
I wandered down for dinner and was hoping for the usual pub feed. The place down the road I came to last time was super fancy but seems a bit out of place. The menu was simple—I like simple done right. I asked Dehan what was good, and being Sri Lankan, he suggested one of their five curries. I’ve had a lot of curries, but this? Hands down, the best Ive had in a long time and maybe ever!. Tender, packed with flavour and presented so nicely. Couldn’t finish it, so Dehan froze it for me since I had a long drive back and refused to throw it away.
I was curious—how does he handle conflict in a pub full of beer swilling workers? He smiled and said, "There is never any conflict. People look out for each other." Zero incidents in his time and he was proud of it.
Slept like a baby, woke up to a $15 breakfast whenever I wanted. Genuine hospitality in a mining town. Working for a $2 billion construction company, I’ll be recommending this place to HR without a doubt.
Hidden gem? Absolutely. In a town built for work, I found a place with heart. Couldnt fault anything
- Aaron (8/5): Very good -
- Wahyudi (5/5): Passable - Good value. Perfect if you’re on a budget Lied about the free wifi facility. I asked for the password but responded that they don’t provide free wifi
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Saba (4/5): don't book - Nothing. it is overrated no reception no one to get hold of unless you call two three times no one looking after the property properly. you can't even hand the room key to a person or a safe box.
- Anish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rashmi (5/5): Passable -
- Laurence (9/5): Superb - perfect meal great location Their was nothing I didn't like
- Andrew (8/5): Nil - Nil Nil
- Boon (7/5): It is alright for a town where there is not many accomodation. - 1. The staff are friendly
2. The location is convenient 1. Being able to enter the building from the front door rather than climbing a narrow metal stairs at rear of the building. It is mainly for safety.
2. A soap dish in the shower place.
- Omer (9/5): Our stay was comfortable, well-managed, by the hotel manager Dehan’s excellent hospitality - Loction is very good nice and calm
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Linda (8/5): Good stay, can recommend if you need a place to stay. - Good stay. Ample easy car parking. Rooms suitable for single travellers, has all the basics though. If you are up early in the morning, you may see a good sunrise through clouds. At least I did :) The shower lost heat/pressure if someone else used the hot water. But, great stay!!
- Saw (8/5): Very good - Staff and the host.
- Amy (3/5): Left first thing as not able to get decent coffee and no staff on site that we noticed - How close it was to an event I travelled for It was old, run down, no breakfast, old towels from previous guests in bathroom, not very secure door and lock and very expensive for what it was. The bar onsite limited time open.
- Hans (5/5): Passable -
- Chantelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aaron (9/5): Comfortable and convenient - I liked the comfortable room. And I could make a coffee early in the morning too.
- Karen (4/5): Would not recommend -the owners of this buildings have tried to renovate on a very cheap budget - Clean sheets and towels. Bathroom not finished- no door knobs and couldn’t close door properly. No soap holders in shower. No lamp or access to light from bed. Bed against wall so hard for partner to get out. So small room so very little room for 2small cases. Ordered chicken schnitzel couldn’t eat around edges as had been microwaved and was dry. No lemon lime and bitters only in a bottle not good For a pub. Had to climb more than 20 outside stairs to access room.
- Juan (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (8/5): Only overnight. Great atmosphere. Interesting town - Lovely staff
Beautiful building
Lovely breakfast
- Aaron (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (10/5): Excellent service and food! Beautifully restored hotel! - Beautifully refurbished old hotel. Owner was very helpful and even carried one of our suitcases up the stairs. We were only there on Friday, which is their pizza night and ours had to be the best one that we have ever had!! Loaded with toppings and thin crust. Yum!
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Sally (8/5): The pizza on a Friday smelt lovely . Should have tried that. Stay away from Federal Bridgetown. Yuk - Staff were friendly. There was some damage to ceiling and walls. Not very nice looking and for the price of the room it should have looked like the room advertised. Far from it. Also said it had smoking rooms, they don't the stairs on the outside to the top floor are steep and a little daunting. Should have let me in through the bar.
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kellie (5/5): Didn’t match on line pics - The pub The grounds were under maintenance
Carpets need a clean
