• McCarron (10/5): My Happy Place 😍 - What an absolute gem of a property. Obviously the views are to die for, however the gazillions of thoughtful touches around the property really did make it feel like home Do you like it cozy? There’s 3 heaters, a electric simulation “fire” that’s mesmerizing at night , Netflix, plants, the whole place smells divine The kitchen is very well stocked with a fully loaded Nespresso machine with tons of pods, not just the couple that most hotels give you. The bathroom is modern and has a gorgeous steamy rain shower with upmarket products for your hair and body, loads of fluffy towels and even cotton buds and cotton pads to wipe away the day I loved the climb up the stairs, fantastic cardio! When you leave the property, cross the road and turn left, walk to the lighthouse & ogle at the seals on the rock, or turn right and take a refreshing walk past cullercoats and Tynemouth. That I had to leave!

• Sally (7/5): Handy central location with lovely sea view. - Great location with lovely views of the sea. A well equipped kitchen. The flat was very cold and the heating takes a long time to make a difference. Make sure you bring warm clothes!

• Phil (1/5): Short and dreadful - Nothing This was more like a squat. Absolutely filthy. You could not see out the windows! I would not want to walk on the flooring without footwear.Blood on the radiator, I honestly cannot think of one positive thing to say about the property other than the owner was decent enough to give our money back. We then booked into another accommodation which was luckily enough available

• Wilson (9/5): - Love this little flat, used it before and we are using it again soon, so handy for visiting relatives close by. Its not really a problem for us as its winter time but the roof top outside needed a tidy, but it was too cold out there anyway but you could see cigarette butts on the roof from previous people.
• Thomas (6/5): Good, not great. Some positives and some negatives. I’d stay again for the r - Lovely comfy bed, amazing views and great location Shower hot water lasts 10 minutes, no longer. Pressure and space were good. Bathroom floor was dusty and sandy. Could have been cleaner. Same with the kitchen, pint glasses and shelves where they were stored were grimy. Not nice! Washing up liquid was supplied but was only enough for a few pans. Plug sockets were few and there were none around the bed, strange in 2025. Were they there but hard to find? Maybe. I could be to blame!
• JACKIE (9/5): Excellent location for our stay, as party was at the Spanish City which is only 5 minute walk - Excellent location, right on the sea front. Would be amazing in the summer, but very windy in November. The host was amazing with regards contact. Arranged for us to have an early arrival time. Was everything you need for a short stay. Even has back patio area. Be aware of the little step into the bathroom. We all tripped over it! It could have had a little more attention regarding the dusting. Quite a lot of surface dust. The sliding door leading out onto the welcome balcony hadn't been closed properly, which made the apartment freezing on arrival. But soon managed to heat it up. Some carpet on the main staircase would make the common areas quieter for other residents.

• Adam (9/5): We’d definitely stay again, thank you. - Great location, great view! Normally stay in hotels when we go away, but thought we would try something different - so glad we did! Loads of good restaurants if you want to eat out, or if not, there’s the kitchen in the apartment. Parked car on South Parade for no charge, literally a minute walk away (if that). We’d definitely stay again, thank you. It wasn’t really a negative as we didn’t want to use the roof terrace, but it gets quite mucky with all the birds. The only other thing - again not really a negative but as a point of information, the stairs, whilst not a problem for us, anyone with mobility issues would likely struggle.
• Gary (9/5): Extremely relaxing. - Location was superb: on the seafront, with exceptional views along the bay. The property was near the station, good restaurants and a small supermarket. The property was modern and well-equipped. Communication with the host was extremely good. No bedside light switch/lamp, which accounts for my comfort and facitilites being a 9 rather than a 10.

• Smith (10/5): Amazing apartment don't miss out honestly the best place me and my girlfriend have stayed 10/10 😍😍 - The apartment is fabulous the bed is unbelievably comfortable the view are amazing the apartment is that good for the money I am leaving a review before we have left honestly the couple who own it are amazing couldn't fault them one bit they even got my girlfriend a present for her birthday even though it was short notice will definitely be coming back you have a back terrace it's like a sun trap makes you feel like you are in a different country THiS IS THE PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU WANT SEA VEIW AND PURE BLISS AMAZING 😍 100/10 sublime Their was absolutely nothing to not like about the apartment Al in all 10/10
• Lynn (10/5): Amazing stay with spectacular views - Everything about the flat was lovely! The flat was comfortable and cosy and really equipped - everything was thought of. The kitchen had plenty of pans and utensils which meant we didn't *have* to go out. There were nice extras such as a toastie maker and pod coffee machine. Tea and coffee pods were provided which was a lovely touch. There was everything you might need such as an iron and board, a hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. The bathroom was lovely - a waterfall shower and gorgeous toiletries. Good towels; lovely bedding and lots of comfy pillows. The bed was comfortable and the sofa was good for lounging on. The little roof garden was such a treat but the star of the show was the little balcony with the sea view (why I booked the flat!). Glorious! I booked the flat to get some writing done - and it was *perfect* :) I'll be back soon! Nothing! There were *lots* of stairs to get to the flat but we knew that when we booked - it wasn't a problem. If you aren't good at stairs or have little ones this might not be the place for you. The staircase needs decorating but this doesn't affect your stay. The views from the windows on the stairs are great :)

• Tina (10/5): Beautiful little sanctuary. - The apartment was a lovely, cosy little haven with a beautiful (as promised) view of the sea. It contained everything required for a self-sufficient stay, and was more spacious than we had been expecting. Contact from the owner was excellent and ensured smooth hand-over to us and back to owner at the end of our stay. Will definitely look towards rebooking in the future. :) There was absolutely nothing we "didn't like" about our stay at all. A table on the rear roof terrace would have been lovely, but our stay was by no means impaired without one.

Thank you - It was a well contained property with everything you need in it and our stay was great. We would definately stay again if they would have us. The stair climb was crazy but as far as the accommodation itself it was great. We knew about the stairs when we booked it. The sofa was uncomfortable but I think that is because it is quite low and wasn’t great for us oldies 😂 However the chairs provided did the job.

The property is cosy and the host is very approachable and helpful. Would definitely recommend!! The properties got a lot of stairs to access.
• John (7/5): A great flat, but freezing. - Flat had great views It was freezing inside the flat when we got there. The were no instructions on the heating, we worked it out ourselves. Fireplace heating stopped working altogether

Very nice decor. Overall a very pleasant stay. The apartment itself was lovely. The only problem was a little chilly. The portable heater wasn't enough to heat the whole place and the main fire heater didn't seem to be giving out any heat. Unless I hadn't switched it on properly 🤦.

• Chris (8/5): Great little quiet studio with fantastic view, roof terrace, best bed ever and brilliant location. - Wonderful bathroom with toiletries, best bed ever, and outstanding views full of sea and sky. Loved the roof terrace space. Also quiet. Brilliant location with easy access to everything you could want - the beaches (one across the road, 2 others within a short walk), cafes, restaurant, local walks, shops and entertainment. Wonderful promenade stretching for miles.... Fish and Chip shops on your doorstep, and the best Italian Ice Cream ever just around the corner. Do visit the Rendezvous Cafe 5 mins along the prom- a wee slice of the 60s! Great public transport too - both along the coast (Tynemouth, Alnmouth etc, ) and into Newcastle. But Whitley Bay has everything you want, a great vibe and no crowds, despite it being August. Don't miss The Spanish City cafes or splash out in the Champagne Bar there 50 yards from the sea. Walk into Monkseaton for bijou cafes and quirky small shops.... and small supermarkets. A visit to Seaton Delaval Hall ( 7 mins drive) was a treat, and the famous Druridge Bay is only 20 minutes away. Great cafe there at Cresswell, and as much space and unspoilt beach as you could want. We were told to watch out for pods of dolphins passing. The owner was very helpful, replied promptly and is keen you should enjoy your stay. Would have liked a bedside lamp, as had to get out of bed to switch off the light. Would have preferred more of the 'small things' eg hand towel in the bathroom, dishcloth in the kitchen

Really close to the town centre and 3 super restaurants literally on your doorstep. Really good communication from the host. Apartment itself is really comfortable with a great shower room and equipped kitchen. Recommend.
