Guest Reviews
- Stenlake (8/5): A great stay while we did another two sections of the South West Coast path - Ideal location - good parking for one car - quirky comfy cottage - nice seating area outside in the evening for a beer or two Just watch your head if you are tall !
- Susan (10/5): Perfect for what we needed for a weekend away - The key was in a lockbox at the property, code for the box was sent before we arrived so we were able to unload and get a coffee after a long drive!
- Pauline (8/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): Warm, cosy, quiet +++ perfect for our occasion - Close to every single thing we needed Nada
- Joy (9/5): Mini break in Tintagel - Great location, very comfortable. Walking distance to good restaurants.
- David (5/5): Great location lovely cottage but needs a deep clean - The location was superb The smell of dog and the bathroom floor had a floor with ground in dirt
- smith (8/5): - Location. The house was clean , well equipped and comfortable.
- Duncan (9/5): Superb - Good location, easy walking to everything in Tintagel
- Julie (10/5): Beautiful cosy cottage in a fantastic location. - Everything was perfect. Sophie was an attentive host and her instructions were very clear. the cottage was in a great location, 5 minutes walk from Tintagel and bus stops to other areas or Cornwall. the cottage was cosy and provided us with everything we needed. The beds were very comfy and we slept well. Even the sun shone for the whole of the 7 days we were there. Tintagel was a very spiritual place and we left feeling like we had a a calming sun soaked holiday. Would return with no hesitation. Thank you Sophie Nothing, it was just perfect.
- Anna (10/5): I love it - I love the fish decoration in the kitchen and how close the shops were and the painting in the bathroom I love it
- Raggety (10/5): Wonderful Property - The property was lovely, cosy and an ideal location. Close to everything. The property had everything you would need. N/A
- Catriona (9/5): Cracking stay, loved exploring the area and a perfect base! Thank you! - A lovely cosy cottage, well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a three night break over New Year. We travelled as a family of 4 plus dog, teenage girls enjoyed a bedroom each. Lots to explore nearby, and easy access to the coastal path. Great comms from owners. Stairs are steep and ceilings are low as would expect with an old property - adds to charm but may be tricky for tall people.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - We spent Christmas at the cottage, it was cosy, a real home away from home.
There was even a small Christmas tree which was so lovely. The winter weather wasn't kind, lots of fog but we still had a wonderful break.
- Tony (7/5): Lovely place in a lovely part of the country - It was clean and very cosy and quirky I’m six foot tall so I had to duck quite a lot downstairs
- Joseph (10/5): April cottage - Walking distance from main street. Beds very comfortable. Decor done to good standard. Frei dly helpful owners. If I was going to be very picky, I would say the t.v could be a bit tricky to get going .would have been better with a freeview aerial so able to watch basic channels.
- Brian (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (9/5): Wonderful few days in a wonderful location. Cottage is fab and I would highly recommend to anyone. - Absolutely beautiful little cottage with a fantastic location, almost within touching distance of the coastal path.
There was more than enough room for the 5 of us (2 adults, 1 x 11 year old & 2 dogs) and very well equipped with a cosy, colourful vibe.
Sophie was communicative and responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only dropped 1 mark on overall score (9/10) as no washing up liquid, cloths or tea towels. I probably should have asked in advance as could have brought my own if needed, but was a bit of an inconvenience to have to go out and buy it.
Otherwise, very well equipped with everything we could have asked for & more.
Especially liked the touch of surf boards, maps, doggy poo bags and treats that were provided.
