Very comfortable bed and spacious bedroom, smallish lounge but fine for 2. Usable mini kitchen. Nice grounds (not as large as photos might suggest) and pleasant verandah sitting areas with views. The little oven in the kitchen had a broken door. Very quiet and only one other guest. Didn't see management. It felt a bit deserted, which could be good or bad!

• Geoff (10/5): Most enjoyable & given the opportunity, I would definitely return there, for another holiday. - The Breakfast, Welcoming Scones, Jam & Cream were an excellent addition to an already very pleasant experience & I was thrilled to bits, with the kind assistance & the service. Unfortunately, the mattress was not comfortable, ( with the left hand edge, close to the pool side windows, sloping on an angle ) whereas the rest of the mattress was very firm & I would respectfully suggest that a new mattress, is definitely worthy of consideration.

We really appreciated the extra effort by the owners to provide chocolates and scones, jam and cream for afternoon tea. The gardens are a manicured delight and the scenery and sunset spectacular. Thank you for having us. All of this for a very reasonable price. There are about 10 steps, so may not suit some people. I believe there are some rooms that could be accessible. Something to be aware of.

• Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely accommodation probably more suited to a longer stay for relaxation rather than just a busy weekend.Would love to - Quality of the furnishings and the extras such as coffee machine with pods, little containers of cereal. Bed very comfortable linen/towels great quality. There was a water lily fountain outside my door that was quite noisy at night and woke me a couple of times, the front door (Unit 2) was very sticky and quite difficult to open. No usb outlet for charging. I had my charging cable with me but no plug. The charging stand on the radio/alarm is quite old and doesn’t fit most current phones. A little difficult to manage luggage up the stairs without a ramp. When travelling solo don’t necessarily want to carry luggage upstairs. There is a way in up the driveway near the units off the garage but not obvious.

Loved the swimming pool too! Unfortunately no night life in Northam on a Saturday night. First restaurant cancelled on us, 2nd one ushered us out by 9:00pm. Good place for forced relaxation though!

• Melanie (10/5): You won't be disappointed, Fairway Manor is lovely! - What a delightful stay we recently had at Fairway Manor! We stayed two nights either side of a balloon ride. The Manor is very quaint, with old style plantation double doors, high ceilings, and a well thought out design with spacious main room, kitchenette, coffee pod machine, and decent bathroom. The pool (which we didn't come prepared to use, which is unfortunate as the weather was delightful) is central to all the rooms, and provided ample privacy. The very modern bathroom was extremely clean, with fabulous water pressure! Just don't flush the toilet while someone is in the shower, makes the water scalding. There was a thoughtful care package of Devonshire Tea in the fridge upon arrival, milk, coffee pods and water. The staff are non intrusive, but friendly when they see you. The gardens are incredible, and there are many areas to sit on either the balcony or in the garden for an afternoon drink or coffee. The property is a few kms outside of the central town, very quiet, lots of birds, away from road noise. The bed is very comfortable, and the small decorative touches and scents add to the ambience. Overall, we had a great stay here, and will definitely choose Fairway Manor again should we visit Northam. My ever wishful request for every establishment I stay at, is for an additional bath towel for drying long hair.

Twinkling lights at night, just so cool Only thing was, I thought breakfast was included in the price. Advertising didn't say it was, when I re-checked but it didn't state it wasn't. Maybe needs to be clarified. It was so tasty and there was so much, so well worth it!
