Guest Reviews
- Sidonia (10/5): - Location and style! Was amazing views and a beautiful afternoon in the sun Nothing
- Ruby (6/5): Positives - Good amenities, pretty location. Negatives - only 2 minutes of hot water for shower, not enough for 2 people - Location is quiet, enough amenities, underfloor heating very helpful for colder nights. No personable touch from the owners - passive-aggressive notes written over the property. I sent the owner a text asking for more wood, a real shame it’s paid for (and more expensive than the local shop up the road). No hi how is your stay, a simple ‘this will cost you X’, which didn’t really make you feel welcome.
We had to ask for more wood as the wood the first night was damp, which meant the hot tub didn’t get hot enough. Not worth the extra £75 sadly. Hot tub lights were also broken and not disclosed. Wood from the local shop was bone dry so did get hot enough the second night thankfully.
I’ve stayed in multiple huts around North Norfolk and this is the first I’ve had to pay for wood.
There’s nothing on their booking that states you only have 2 minutes of hot water for a shower before it goes cold. This is not adequate for two people. If this can’t be fixed, lower the price, and be honest on the advert.
Someone else’s hair in the bed wasn’t great.
No welcome book / instructions - just a booklet of all the instruction manuals for anything and everything.
- Victoria (10/5): Absolutely stunning location, glorious peace and quiet! - We absolutely loved the remote location, we needed some peace and quiet and it was delivered. Lovely clean facilities, beautiful hot tub for two, easy to heat. Star gazers paradise! Dog walking Mecca!, bird watching must!
So warm and cosy in the hut as well!! Everything easy to find… well thought out, Thankyou
Ps nice organic Prosecco as well, thanks Loved it all!
- Anthony (7/5): Cosy. Peaceful. Enjoyable. - Location is nice. Great little accomodation. Nice and warm. The shower needs to last longer than 3 minutes. A microwave would really help various types of customer.

- Sarah (8/5): Relaxing - Lovely setting. If it hadn’t been blowing a hooley and raining it would have been paradise I was a bit put out at the £20/dog extra charge as there isn’t really room to make £40 worth of mess. And it would be nice to have an earlier check because if the weather had been nice we would have liked to have been settled for a BBQ and evening of watching the sun set. Check-in at 4pm and out by 10am means you really only get to enjoy the surroundings for a very limited time
- Daniel (9/5): - The Location, piece and quite, lovely seeing some wildlife. Amazing walks through the saltmarshes through to Wells. The hottub was nice and so was having the firepit. The door and windows where a concern as they were very tight weather opening or closing felt like they were going to break plus we couldn't separate the door half as the handle is missing
- Clare (10/5): Loved this place! - Amazing hot tub and views. Secure area for dog. Beautiful setting Road in bad, need a high carb as scrapes on floor
- Marcus (8/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Very enjoyable place to relax and soak up atmosphere. - Location, calmness. Sunsets Could do with a parasol as there wasn’t much shade but if you’re out all day, then this wouldn’t be a problem.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful location, very peaceful and comfortable…perfect night to relax - Very clean and comfortable. The added touches like toiletries, tea and coffee and the complimentary Prosecco made an already lovely experience even better Nothing
- Alice (7/5): Delightful cosy and dog-friendly shepherd's hut stay - Fantastic location, beautiful views and super cosy shepherd's hut with everything you need for a holiday stay for two Slightly involved hot tub cleaning/clearing required meaning you couldn't realistically use the hot tub in the morning before checking out which is a shame when it comes at an extra cost. Grass on the middle verge of the drive up to the hut needs strimming
