Guest Reviews
- Amelia (6/5): Good for location but needs a lot of updating and care - Close to both towns, good parking - Internet very slow, bbc and Netflix slow, hardly could use bbc
- Rust on the white bathroom holder and grim in tiles
- Window in twin room had lots of black mold inside so was unable to open windows for fresh air
- Couldn’t have a bath as no hot water, if this was possible, it was not left in instructions booklet
- nathan (8/5): Perfect place for us to use as a base to go adventuring in the local area. Which was amazing - Location was good and it was nice & peaceful.
- Zaid (10/5): - We liked the spaciousness of the living room , the presence of table fan and the well equipped kitchen .
The property management was easily approachable we couldn't get extra fan
- Axton (9/5): - Very comfortable, everything that we needed for our stay, linen, towels etc.
Walking distance to Bowness and not far to drive to all the places we wanted to visit. Road nosier than we expected

- xianglin (9/5): It’s a great experience living here. The most wonderful place in my trip. - It’s neat and comfortable. Well equipped. The location is good, to the railway station or the pier, either is about 15-20 minutes walk. It’s in quiet neighborhood. None.

- Jane (9/5): Cosy cottage in a great location - Great location, just a few minutes walk from Bowness. Very warm and comfortable. Beautifully decorated for Christmas
- Shashi (8/5): Delightful house, great location - Really lovely house, very spacious, clean & airy. The photos don’t do justice. Decorated in a quaint way. Fully equipped kitchen, everything provided. Cute welcome pack of milk, biscuits, tea & coffee.
Good WiFi , Netflix on tv.
Large spacious bedrooms, the master bed was squeaky though. Airy windows.
Large bathroom- shampoo, body wash not provided, so bring your own.
Free on street parking.
Great location- can walk to Windermere town centre, short drive to Bowness. Tesco, Sainsbury’s nearby.
Convenient self check in Nothing
