Guest Reviews
- Sally (9/5): Lovely cottage for exploring this area. Also quiet area. - Pretty cottage in good location for visiting friends in the area plus surrounding area. Close to the Crown where we had a good meal. Nice sitting in the late afternoon sunshine on the courtyard back garden. Having to strip the beds. We were two ladies of a certain age and felt that we should not have to do that.
- Paul (10/5): Fabulous five day stay in super and cozy Norfolk cottage - What a fabulous cottage. Very well located in a quiet village with a lovely pub and coffee shop. Less than 30 mins drive to all our daily destinations including super coastal walks as well as Sandringham and Holkham Hall. The cottage was beautifully presented and perfect for a couple. Nice well equipped kitchen, good bathroom and shower with ample hot water and a pleasant courtyard garden for a relaxing in the sun after a hard day of walking. We would love to return one day. The only suggestion would be to place a lower shower holder as my Partner is short. Otherwise all was perfect for us
- Sinclair (10/5): - No phone reception
- Jacob (9/5): Short break - Quiet
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - On arrival the key code supplied by yourselves was incorrect so had to contact the host who gave us the correct code. Apart from this our stay was great. As above
- Katie (7/5): Nice Cottage / Good location - Nice little cottage, we received a welcome basket on arrival with some lovely biscuits and tea and coffee , plus a pint of milk in the fridge. East Rudhan is a very good location for visiting Sandringham , Holkam and Brancaster beaches and we love the Crown Pub in the village , its our 3rd time staying in East Rudham so we must love it ! Had an issue with the hot water, there were 4 adults staying and only 3 of us could have a hot shower in the morning, there was then no water to wash up with for the rest of the day - contacted owner and it was sorted remotely. Oven really needs updating and we only used it once for some pizza's , took ages to cook and only one oven shelf . Other than that no other issues . Could really do with a Dishwasher.
- Maurice (4/5): So disappointed - Location good for exploring area. Village pub for elite clients,
House facilities poor, oven took ages to heat up, washing machine cycle nearly 2 hours. Lounge furniture uncomfortable, plates, pots and pans dirty on arrival. Only offered 1 linen change in one months stay. House freezing on arrival. Tiny outside courtyard, front garden overgrown.
- Balfe (9/5): Superb - Very well appointed, clean & comfortable. Located in a pretty village with a good pub/restaurant. Convenient for most location on the North Norfolk coast. We are returning in July for a week. A hand rail should be installed in the shower area for those with reduced mobility
- Alison (9/5): Superb - The cottage is in a pretty Norfolk village in a very peaceful location. It is charming and everything we needed was there...including extras such as salt and pepper and a packet of crisps! You can park right outside and there is a pub a 5 min walk away...The Crown Inn...that is a real gem.
- Vasily (9/5): Excellent stay in charming Norfolk village - Lovely, peaceful, very clean and comfortable cottage. Fully equipped There was an issue about hot water, but it was quickly fixed after we contacted the host.
