- IAN (8/5): I wasn't expecting much.. Exceeded expectations. - Excellent value for money. Obviously you don't have air-conditioning, but extremely clean and tidy. Everything worked. Very pleasant meet and greet, although unusual with a phone call. The actual lodgings is hidden at was an old night club and bar. It's all looking rough, then through the gap between the building to a very pleasantly laid out area. Yeovil has its rough bits, and although the lodgings very good, you have to walk through the rough area to get to it. Once your in.. All good.

I had problems with the TV so one of the owners drove 20mins to resolve the issue. The female owner thought i was being difficult when i mentioned the TV in the new double room wouldn't switch on. When the TV was resolved, I realised that the window in this room was rotting, and the payne of glass was almost falling out of the wood, securing it. (See attached photo).

- Elizabeth (3/5): Below acceptable standards for 2026 - Having a window to open & letting in same fresh air. The whole place needed a good clean. Odour from the moment we entered the front door. Room was dirty, especially the fridge. TV was faulty. Carpets were stained. In our room there was an invasive green emergency light above the door which prevented sleeping. Overall it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

- SONIA (5/5): Would not recommend unless you want to rough it! - The location to the town On arrival, had to phone a number and spoke to a lady, who was very matter of fact and gave us a code to get in the main front door. On entering the property stank of cigarettes, which I’m assuming came from the first room as the guy seems to be living there. Our key was left in our room. So not very welcoming. Very dated, dark and dingy and in desperate need of a refurb. We were there for an event in Yeovil. We were waiting for a taxi just inside the main front door as it was raining, when a guy in the first room came out and asked what we were doing.We said we were staying and he was then fine. I was thinking isn’t it obvious that we’re actually staying here?! I’ve stayed in other places for the same money that are far better, so I feel it’s over priced. This place is more like a hostel than a hotel!

Someone must be living full time in room 1 or 2 as that smell is not from one night of smoking in the room it's from a chain smoker over a longer period.

- Simon (3/5): ❄️❄️🥶❄️❄️ - A very pleasant member of staff when I called to check in. No heating at all throughout the night in winter; insufficient heat insulation, and no blankets available!! It was a cold winter's night with ice in the carpark when I stayed here. I thought we were living in the 21st century but clearly I was mistaken. I would strongly recommend bringing a portable heater and several blankets with you. If not, you will be sleeping with your coat, hat and gloves on and still waking up a lot due to the discomfort. Anybody who fails to speak up about this sort of thing is allowing such low standards to continue to be passed off as 'acceptable'. On a mild summer's night it would probably be a pleasant place to stay (depending on the price). The rest of the time, I wouldn't stay here if you paid me.
- Jamie (5/5): Avoid in the winter. Or experience the irony of the name. - Location is good, easy to check in,free parking. Coldest room I ever slept in my life. Checked in to Room but windows was left open to vent the room so room was already cold. But then the radiator was so weak even on max settings. So even after a couple hours the rooms was still chilly. Which was surprisingly as room was a single room not that big at all. Makes the name the very ironic. If it was the summer would be perfectly fine but in the winter avoid at all cost.
- Penny (4/5): Beware the noisy heater in room 9 - Good location for me as near my work some people would be put off by the tatty car park entrance to the rear of the property. I was " upgraded" due to heating issues for which I was grateful as it was -5 degrees however the room I was given had a wall mounted electric heater which banged and knocked every 20 minutes. At 2.00am I was still awake so got up and switched it off.
- Tom (2/5): It was a cold, miserable and mostly sleepless night. - Convenient location The radiator in our room was off when we arrived and the heated towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work. The porter (whom we never saw) put a portable fan heater in the room (so clearly they realised there was a problem) but it was too noisy to leave on while we were sleeping. We have stayed there before with no problems so we were very disappointed.

- Charlicat (8/5): Great location, good value. - Free parking. There were plenty of brew making facilities and the shower pressure was fierce. Nice room with everything you might need, and although they aren't on site, if you ring them they are always on the end of the phone and very helpful. They are also dog friendly for an extra charge. The rooms are a stones throw from town so the location was fantastic, and there's a great little pub called The Butchers Arms two minutes away. Also in the town is a lovely cafe/restaurant called Barolo Lounge which is gorgeous inside, great food, and dog friendly. It was a bit tricky to find and there isn't anyone on site all the time, so you have to call them to get entry instructions. Also, people didn't always close the main door properly so anyone could get in. The hot water in the sink is scalding hot and there isn't any warning about that. The light in the brew alcove didn't work, and the fire alarm had been taped up. We did report this to them so hopefully they will have sorted that. The room was also a bit on the small side for two people, but not unmanageable.

- Marc (5/5): - The location was probably the best thing about this place, a 5 min walk to town. I was placed into a room that had a really bad lingering smell of dogs. I stayed here the previous week and was aware that they allowed dogs in the property. The porter stays in No1 which is right by the entrance, the tarmac and gravel outside his window is littered with fag butt's, the snell of cigarette smoke hits you as soon as you walk through the door. Their standards fall way below what I would expect for a paying guest!

- Chamberlain (8/5): A very basic single room but perfectly adequate and clean accommodation for a stopover. - Central location with parking. Arrived late due to distance to travel after work and had perfect instructions over the phone with a lady to gain access to a secure accommodation.
- Talia (6/5): Did the job - Good location and the hotel included a free car park. The check in process was strange in that you need to call a phone number to be let in but this went smoothly. The wifi worked. The room was warm. Decent value overall. The worst thing was that the room smelt of smoke and wet dog but it seemed clean despite the smell. The sound proofing was poor in that I could hear coughing in the room next door and people going to the toilet upstairs. I got the last space in the car park when I arrived - if I was unable to park this would have caused difficulties. Late at night the pipes in the bathroom started making incredibly loud noise which woke me up, but luckily this stopped after a few minutes.

- ShrimpyNik (6/5): Looked promising but was a real let down. - Arrival and check in (remote on phone) simole & friendly. Free parking. Room good size. Good wifi. Welcome tray ok. On the surface it looked to be a well put together room but the short comings soon appeared . The bathroom was nasty. The toilet seat had a split across it and some disgusting brown crud in the bottom of the loo. Shower riser broken so didn't stay in place. Black marks in grouting. Towels had tears and were threadbare. Matresses old & saggy. In all not comfortable or pleasant to be in.

- David (6/5): Value for money, nothing fancy - Centre of Yeovil. The first car park you see is off-putting but you have to go through it, to the end, and the Warehouse carpark is round a hidden bend to the right, and rather better. For what I paid (£70) I was happy. It was clean and warm, if not as quiet as I would have liked. Needs a better duvet. Other guests coming in drunk at 2am was a bit of a bore.

- Sharyn (2/5): Very disappointing - The location is great The property is very tired on the inside and in need of major refurbishment. It’s very dated. The nature of the design of the rooms means mine didn’t allow for fresh air easily so the room - particularly the bathroom smelled foosty. The biggest issue was the green light right in the middle of the room. It’s horrendous and can not be switched off. I just couldn’t sleep because of it. I’ve never seen anything like it and I travel a lot! They need to deal with it.
- Zsofia (9/5): Great stay for our family of five - Great room with plenty of space for us to set up everything for our baby and our two dogs. Amazing bedding and really comfortable bed. Great location close to loads of cafes, pubs, shops if you need anything. Nice area to walk the doggies too.

Looking for weekly stay so disappo - Location and service Room smelt of stale sweat, pillows old and lumpy, duvet old. Clean but felt dirty due to smell in room and on pillows. Bathroom smelt. Had little sleep
- Rowan Sunflower (4/5): Convenient location and cheap but dirty - Nice bathroom, very nice shower. Bed was comfortable. Room was dirty. Dusty, and found a dead cockroach! There is a super bright green emergency light right above the bed that you can't seem to turn off. I could have read a book by it!
- Dawn (8/5): Short 1 night stop over, we live in London but we’re visiting my elderly mum in her residential home over the weekend 😃👍 - Nice comfortable bed, room was clean, parking was easy, I had a ground floor room, hotel was in the centre of Yeovil so plenty of restaurants close by, but no noise to keep us awake, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend
