• maria (10/5): - The general feel a bit of hostel crossed with hotel facilities. The lack of AC in the gym and it was very tired needed a good clean and declutter
• Rachael (7/5): Ok overall - Unique and quirky with a nice pool and offered good breakfast. Unfortunately large tour groups arrived and were very loud and disruptive late at night and early morning causing lots of disturbance which is not what you need before a long flight. Rooms a little tired and air con in our daughters room was very loud. Hotel owners did acknowledge the noise issues and offered us a future complimentary stay at the hotel but as we are from UK, this is not something we are ever likely to take up.

• Dwld (8/5): great place to stay but don't eat if possible at the restaurant - This place is great...settled in kind of tropical area...nice pool, and very uncommon in Costa Rica, a hot water jacuzzi which is solar energy heated ! Breakfast was great, WIFI worked well, and TV is having several international channels including European one...which is also extremely uncommon in CR. I would have given a maximum note if the "no like" were not. Limited parking within the hotel, had to park my rented car outside on the street, which is not an issue. But for such a high rate hotel, would expect more parking. The most negative issue to my eyes is the totally overpriced restaurant. Meals and drinks are at least 35% more expensive than in any hotel I stayed in the country. This really showed they are too much willing to .make money on tourists, which at the end will make them running away.
• Laura (10/5): Again great. We always stay here when traveling to Costa Rica - Breakfast offers some choices that include plenty of fresh fruits, both known and Costa Rican. This is a great stepping off place for tourists as there are little notes about the culture around the hotel to assist with understanding more about the country you are visiting

• Marcia (8/5): Comfortable. The painting over my bed was a bit strange. - It was clean and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. I was glad to have a restaurant there so I didn’t have to go out after dark for dinner. I wish I had more time to use the pool. It looked very inviting. The location is close to the highway, so there’s the sound of trucks. The price is higher than what I normally pay but I wanted to try a new place.

• Laura (10/5): Every visit to Costa Rica I enjoy Adventure Inn as a great start and end hotel - The breakfast was very good. We didn’t stay long enough to check out the pool. There was a hot tub too. The staff were fantastic! They are so very familiar with tourist travel they could set up every aspect of the airport transfers as well as understanding tourist’s needs.

• Wilson (9/5): Easy overnight before a flight out. - It was cozy like a boutique hotel. The pool are was nice and thank god for the hot tub as it was chilly while we were there. Loud street noise coming into the room. Hot water was almost non existent. If you left the cold off and turned the hot to almost off the water would warm up.

Restaurant and pool area was amazing to hang out, enjoy a meal, and relax. The hot tub was not working properly. The jets were not working and it was just warm and even cool at times.

• Eric (10/5): Wonderful Stay at the Adventure Inn - My family of 4 from Colorado stayed at the Adventure Inn on the last night of our vacation in Costa Rica. It was a really great experience. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff is really helpful and friendly - and speaks English well, which was a big help for us since our Spanish is not very good. They have one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had and it was included with the stay. My favorite part is when the owner of the hotel, originally from Canada, stopped by and asked if my kids would like to help him feed the fish in the pond. That was a really nice thing to do and they loved it. I hope to stay here again the next time we are visiting Costa Rica.

They even let me borrow an umbrella for the day. 2) I also liked that the airport taxi was included. 3) There is a commercial area about an 8-10 minute walk away, which is very convenient. There's a Fresh Market grocery store there, as well as some restaurants/bars. 4) The room was large and spacious. 5) WiFi worked well in my room and the common areas, including the pool. The on-site restaurant was a bit expensive for what you got.

But then my travel plans changed and they were able to cancel and issue a refund without issue. The property was great, but I had a hard time getting a hold of anyone when I first arrived at the airport, but I understand that it was past midnight.

Von außen wirkt es unscheinbar, ist aber innen großzügig, bietet einige Räume zum Entspannen, hat einen schönen Poolbereich mit Whirlpool. Das Restaurant ist schlicht, das Essen landestypisch und lecker. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Zum Flughafen ist es nah und gut zu erreichen. Alles war gut!

The staff make a difference in your staying, as they make you feel at home. The facility is easier to move around. The entire place is decorated with pictures and sculptures that allow you to get entertained. Convenient and easy access to the National Convention Center. You meet other people there, who either traveling with their children or are attending a conference. They also arranged our pick-up and return to the airport and say goodbye with a mild breakfast. We enjoy our staying! Thank you to Manfred, José, Luis, the breakfast chef, the nice and great lady in the restaurant, and everyone who serve us with kindness and beautiful smile. Nothing to share here, as we like all the services.

Some fruit and pastries laid out but you could order off a simple menu of local breakfasts. For me the location was perfect as i had to go to meetings at convention center. There is a short walk to some nice restaurants and market 5 min walk. Safe neighborhood. My bed was way too soft for me

I love the vibe of the restaurant The pool and jacuzzi are nice and usually you have the pool to yourself so very relaxing The WiFi was very good The staff are friendly enough The room was cleaned to a high standard every day Travelling with a child who needs lots of sleep, I liked the signs about being quiet 8pm to 8am as it's good etiquette. Even the tables next to bedrooms had signs saying not to use them after 8pm, that's great. The towels were nice and the shower worked well The windows had a mosquito net which I loved. We loved that it was fresh well water from the tap!. The hotel is quite quirky which we loved The room had a musty smell and it looked like it needed an upgrade. The walls looked a bit dusty. Painting the rooms and changing the furniture would freshen things up. It felt a bit dark and dingy. We woke up at 6am one morning with other guests in the restaurant, it was crazy loud. We felt exhausted for the rest of the day. There isn't much in the area, I think it's a good option simply to and from the airport as they offer a free shuttle.

Would definitely stay here again. Maybe the bar/restaurant could stay open a little later. But that really wasn't a major issue, just feedback.
