• Julia (8/5): During off-season it is not super comfortable, but in the summer it must be really great there - Cosy rooms, with great view to the sea and town. Close to the market and few restaurants. Owners are so friendly. Chilling atmosphere. In the off-season it was quite cold at night - even when I used AC, it didn't warmed up the room (the outgoing air was still cold even when setting 30* degrees). I stayed for 4 nights and during 2 nights and mornings there was no warm water.

• Wolfgang (9/5): Gern mal wieder! - Wer kleine typ. griechische familiengeführte Hotels mag, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse! Helen ist sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich! Wir konnten von unserem kleinen Balkon das Meer sehen-sehr schön!

• Lidwien (3/5): K.. met peren. Bijna 200 euro weggegooid - Niets Het was 3 hele hoge trappen op, niet te doen nadat ik net uit ziekenhuis ontslagen was met cardiale ellende. Helaas 5 dagen vooruit betaald. De eigenaresse liep niet mee, maar haar man die sowieso geen Engels sprak en erg in de war was. Hij gaf me eerst een kamer met iets meer van de beloofde faciliteiten, maar werd door geroep gecorrigeerd. Kreeg een eenpersoonskamer (2 persoons geboekt) nergens een paswoord voor wifi. Ik kon niet naar beneden om te protesteren omdat ik daarna weer omhoog zou moeten. Trouwens receptie onbemand. Geen koffie/ thee faciliteiten. Volgende ochtend weggegaan en via via ergens begane grond terechtgekomen. Vroeg geld terug, maar moest bij booking zijn. Zie geen link om het daar deels terug te vragen. 4 nachten betaald zonder verblijf aldaar. Was teveel bezig met zorgverzekering om ziekenhuisopname te melden met vervolgbehandeling om aan telefoon te gaan hangen. Ik boek nooit meer meer dan 1 nacht vooruit bij booking.com

Da migliorare: La piastra elettrica per cucinare non è sufficiente Le dotazioni per cucinare sono veramente minime, non c'era nemmeno una padella La corda della tapparella andava annodata per fare abbassare la tapparella

• Sophie (9/5): - Résidence avec beaucoup de charme. Très bien situé et on n'entend pas le passage des voitures et des personnes. Propriétaires chaleureux. Il est dommage que des résidences toutes neuves commencent à casser le charme d'Agia Galeni.

• Marco (10/5): Exceptional - I booked late in the afternoon, in half an hour I was inside my studio. I found all what I was looking for: nice hospitality, kindness and always smiling people. Elena (apologies if I wrote wrong the name) and his husband are very gentle and nice. I had the pleasure to meet and speak for a while with their daughter Rita (who speaks 4 languages!) who gave me a lot of interesting idea, information and suggestion about what to do in Agia Galini and in all the Heraklion area (some tips about trekking and walk!). I'm traveling and exploring places just to bump into this kind of sunny and positive people. Thanks to all family Absolutely nothing.
• Lizy (10/5): PERFECT!!!! - The location was perfect right above the large parking lot, for free. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Especially the bathroom was renovated. Thank you Mrs Eleni for this hospitality.
• George (10/5): the place was just perfect - What can I say, as a solo traveler working remotely, the place was just perfect. I was an need of a quiet room to stay at an affordable price in Crete for an extended period and Kriti Studio was the perfect place at the right time. Wonderful view from my room, with the sea in sight, a beautiful private balcony, air-co, tv, warm shower, daily cleaning, wifi, and everything that I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the openness of the hosts to adapt to my needs, and their genuine attitude towards their guests. They will make you feel very welcomed in all aspects. Highly suggested for solo travellers like me, but also couples or families who want to visit this peacful little town in the south of crete for a few days!

• Elena (8/5): Nice family owned place, recommended - Good location few minutes from the beach, cozy room with wooden furniture, comfortable bed, balcony with a sea view, kind and hospitable owners who care about the guests. Rooms are cleaned every day except Sundays. It would be lovely to have an electric kettle and some dishware in the room, I only had a fridge and glasses, and I borrowed a cup and utensils from the downstairs little kitchen. I could use a remote gas stove to make my coffee in the mornings, but there’s no facilities to cook or heat up your food, and no breakfast options in the hotel. The sound from the neighbor rooms can be loud, especially when the guests come back late at night and if you’re a light sleeper. Other than that, very pleasant affordable stay with good value.
