• Alex (9/5): Generally nice place to stay - Good communication from owner. Very comfortable and warm In the second bedroom the double bed blocked the door from opening. Shower control was stiff so that in turning off you got a col shower for a moment. Toilet flushing handle felt like it was falling off!

• Crowe (9/5): A very enjoyable stay and would recommend. - Excellent location with a very good bus service a few minutes walk away It would be nice to have a small supply of tea and coffee sachets available along with milk and a biscuit e.g. Border biscuits as this gives a welcoming touch on arrival.

• Mike (9/5): For a winter break it would be hard to beat. - Our host was friendly and efficient. When there was a problem she was there immediatly and sorted things out. You can't ask for more. The heating was effective and easy to alter - a rare plus. The sofas were not all that comfortable.

Everything was a bit better quality than the usual holiday rental, was like a home from home. Communication with the host Sarah was excellent. Nothing it was excellent.

The situation is excellent, in easy walking distance from all the facilities of Bowness-on-Windermere but itself in a quiet street. The water pressure is great and the beds are comfortable No complaints! The parking is on the street but we always found a space

I would book it again and recomend it to family and friends. Parking outside cottage was hit and miss but we always managed to park on the street some where.

Very comfortable and cosy, lots of room and very well equipped. The kitchen was probably one of the best equipped kitchens I've been in, and having basics provided like sugar and oil was much appreciated! Beds were super comfy, communication with host was perfect, overall we had an amazing stay. Not a big issue - a few basic bath toiletries would have been nice i.e. shampoo and shower gel
