- Andy (10/5): - Longborough is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds. Squirrel Barn is a very charming and well equipped and decorated location in this unspoilt village. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave so soon.
- Aisling (10/5): We so loved our stay and only wished we had longer - It was a fabulous place to stay at. Lovely to have the wood burner as once we got it going it heated the living room up so quickly. A great kitchen with everything you’d need. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms too We loved everything about it
- Whibley (8/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Beautiful place to stay, lovely location for walking and exploring the surrounding countryside. Nice pub for food 5 minu - Everything was fabulous, the photos don’t do it justice Only one really picky comment is the window blind in the first floor bedroom could do with a blackout lining for the early morning sun now the spring is here
- Sharon (9/5): Relaxing , peaceful stay in beautiful cottage in a perfect area - Beautiful cottage , clean and everything in it we needed . Excellent location and very peaceful Just needed decorating on the stairways paint wise
- Joe (9/5): Excellent stay! - House was amazing, really homey interior and brilliant for the dog. Rooms and bathrooms were good, with good showers. Location was close to Stow & Bourton only a 15 minute drive. Bath tub but no tap so have to use shower head if wanting a bath.

- Caroline (10/5): Absolutely perfect in every way - Location beautiful, very quiet. Really lovely, friendly village shop/cafe. Friendly pub. Good walks. Scenery. Easy to park. We worry that the number of holiday lets in a picture postcard quintessential Cotswold village like this could potentially destroy the community and of course push prices up so actual locals can't afford to live there. The village was silent in the evening with no lights in houses, as they were obviously empty holiday lets or second homes (we were there weekdays out of season). Probably too touristy at other times of the year. However, it is hypocritical to express these views whilst staying in a holiday let!
- Mark (10/5): Cosy, well appointed cottage close to all Cotswolds attractions. Highly recommended and will share with friends and fami - Could not fault it. Cosy, great location, tranquil. Nothing
- anne (9/5): Would definitely recommend. Location super for visiting stow, Daylesford, broadway, upper and lower - The village has little going on but it was bag in the middle of the villages three or four that we wished to visit.
Met by a lovely young lady on check out who was very helpful. A couple of small issues but nothing that would spoil our time. Parking could be a problem in high season if you were arriving with more than one car. I would highly recommend the property
- David (8/5): Pretty, cosy cottage in a picturesque setting. - Located in a pretty, rural, and quiet village. The house was cosy and decorated for Christmas, which was a nice, unexpected touch. It was lovely and warm on our arrival. It is a very peaceful setting. The lighting by the front door could be better; we struggled to see the name of the cottage from the road. Being super critical, we felt the bed in the attic room was a bit too large, as the legs stick out and you could trip over them in the middle of the night. This shouldn't put people off booking, just an observation.
- Jonathan (10/5): - The location was incredible and the barn was just what we wanted and more
- Lisa (10/5): A beautiful stay in the most tranquil and idyllic village - Christmas decorations, welcome basket, the house layout and space on offer
- Sally (9/5): - What a little gem. Clean and cosy. Christmas tree decs a lovely touch 10mins to nearby villages. Everything you needed in a cosy home. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Bed mattresses could be a little better but still had a great nights sleep.
- Lisa (10/5): perfect - lovey clean property everything you needed and beautiful nothing
- Kara (9/5): Home from home cottage in a quiet village. - Very clean cottage, fabulous location for exploring, nearby on street parking. Super welcome basket on arrival. We loved the log fire. And of course very grateful the cottage is pet friendly. Great village shop and cafe nearby for coffee and cake. Unusual pods for the coffee machine meant we couldn’t find any in the 4 supermarkets we looked in. A measuring jug and whisk would also be handy.

- Lisa (9/5): Fabulous stay in the heart of the Cotswolds - Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Cosy and comfortable home, with everything you could possibly need! We lit fires and snuggled down after lots of stomping and felt so at home! Nothing!
- Jourika (9/5): We hadden deze locatie geboekt voor 2 nachten maar we vonden het jammer dat we niet langer konden blijven! - Heel proper
Super gezellig
Alles was aanwezig! Geen
- Amanda* (10/5): Home-from-home stay - Beautiful and cosy barn - Beautiful place to stay - made to feel like a home-from-home and the personal touches on arrival were a lovely addition. The location is perfect with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit being a short drive away. The barn was very clean and homely and had everything we needed and more. We didn't want to leave! Nothing to dislike but maybe the mattress in the top bedroom could be updated as you feel like you are sliding off each side

- Ellen (10/5): - We liked that our hostess gave us a ride to the facility when we couldn't get a taxi. There was confusion on the location. Our initial understanding and down-payment had us staying IN not near Moreton-In-Marsh. We did love Longborough once we got a reliable driver.
- Fiona (8/5): Beautiful property, really well maintained - Lovely property, great location. Super clean. Pillows but hard (sorry gad to think of something)
- Mel (10/5): - A gorgeous modern cottage in a beautiful location and well situated. Very clean and seamless check-in experience, would high recommend!
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect little cottage in a quiet but central location for walks and peace. Try the village pub too very welcoming peopl - Gorgeous little barn in a beautiful villages Little problem with wasps in one of the bedrooms
- Erin (9/5): Beautiful little cottage! - We loved the little town of Longborough-especially the Longborough Shop and the pub. We had an electric car and there was no where to charge overnight. Also the beds are not really mattresses, they are more like a thick, hard foam.
- Kirsten (8/5): Typically lovely Cotswold stay, great little cottage, perfect for 4 - Beautiful little cottage in a very pretty Cotswold village. The upstairs Bedroom does not have a door but as the other room is ensuite this isn't really an issue. Table was laid for dinner upon arrival which was a very thoughtful touch but a few more plates and cutlery would be useful Nothing really was a lovely little place
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Beverley (9/5): Perfectly located accommodation in small Cotswold village - Perfect location in a small Cotswold Village with pub and village store. Accommodation was perfect for our party of 4 adults (2 couples) as we had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with log burning stove. Starter pack of logs was provided, as were a loaf of bread, eggs & milk - a lovely thoughtful touch.
- Ievgen (10/5): Home away from home - We had a wonderful stay at Squirrel Barn in the Cotswolds! The location is excellent, nestled in a lovely little village with everything you could need: a pub, a shop & cafe, even a church and a school. It was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area.
The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and very cosy. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, we all slept really well. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful complimentary hamper including eggs, milk, chutney, oil, tea, coffee, sugar, and some logs for the wood burner, which was a lovely touch.
Check-in and check-out were super smooth. There was plenty of on-street parking close to the cottage. The back garden was delightful and caught the morning sun (weather permitting, of course). The shower had good water pressure, toiletries were provided. The Wi-Fi was stable with fast internet, good enough for getting a bit of work done and running meetings.
Overall, a truly relaxing and comfortable stay. I’d definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return in the future.
P.S. We didn’t see any wood lice, in case that’s a concern. Everything was perfectly clean. Nothing really.
- Andy (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (8/5): Very good -
- Declan (9/5): Superb - Lovely little cottage full of warmth Sofa wasn’t to comfortable
- Ceri (9/5): The stay was great, its a lovely place and well put together :) - Lovely place, lovely welcome hamper, information was clear before we arrived and when we were there. It was a great location to the places we visited for the couple of days :) The extractor fan in the bathroom (with a bath) is quite loud so if you turn the light on in the middle of the night I was worried about waking people but but apart from that it was perfect :)
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (7/5): Excellent -
- Paul (9/5): Great location, excellent facilities, clean and comfortable - Nice selection of hospitality items - eggs, milk, olive oil, prosecco etc. Immaculately clean. A really authentic (not-touristy) beautiful street and location. Everything you might want was there. Clearer instructions on the heating
- Asha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nigel (8/5): Given the above still had a wonderful time and Corrinne was extremely helpful. - Location was fantastic and it was very clean Slightly unfinished refurbishment many light fittings not working, top floor bed poorly made kept breaking. Shower fittings difficult to use need some maintenance.
- Tanja (10/5): A perfect retreat, in the prettiest Cotswold cottage - Set in a perfect little Cotswold village, within easy reach of many idyllic areas. The property was very clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. The host even left us plentiful supplies and was extremely accommodating. A perfect mini break. Loved it all.
- David (7/5): Good - Lovely location. Nice property TV not accessible apart from free streamung services. No terrestrial TV stations accessiblecfrom tge remote.
Couldn't fet the shower cobtrol to work/ooerate.
Couldn't get any cold wster out of the bath and the on/off control for the water was loose.
- Helvi (9/5): Superb -
- Leanne (8/5): Gorgeous location cottage - The location and size of the property was great. Managed to get to see and do plenty from Longborough. The beds!! The mattresses were far too firm. Woke up with painful hips both nights. Soft mattress toppers desperately needed. Also the live and dead wood lice in the bedrooms were a little off putting.
- Simon (8/5): Really nice property in quiet village - Really nice property in quiet village (with a shop and pub) Beds weren't as comfortable as we would have liked. Need some Premier Inn matresses!
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Rachael (9/5): Superb -
- Ronnie (10/5): Can’t wait to stay again next year - Cosy, warm and had everything we needed Last three stairs to the ground floor had an extra layer of carpet on but not fixed. Trip hazard which we removed during our stay
- Vivien (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable cottage in very scenic surroundings in The Cotswolds. Everything provided that we needed and love -
- Sally (7/5): Excellent - Idyllic location, quaint, atmospheric … beautifully curated property. Candles a lovely touch but no matches? Beds TOO hard! Please consider mattress toppers. Came off a 25 hr flight and beds finished stiff hips off! Please review kitchen utensils … how about a bread knife ?
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Beautiful village. Responsive staff.
- Simone (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim (6/5): Pleasant - The bed collapsed, hurting my back very badly. No apology; instead, I was asked what I had done to it. We were sleeping at the time. Message was not replied to.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - The Cottage was lovely, clean and in a good location.
- Dawn (8/5): Very good - Cottage was perfect size and location and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was a v nice touch. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there were lots of live and dead wood lice all over the place which wasn't the best first impression. Once I hoovered them up, they didn't return and otherwise the cottage was v clean.
- Emily (9/5): Gorgeous Cotswold cottage - Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful and friendly Cotswold village. Well laid out, lots of space and comfortable bedrooms and clean spacious bathrooms. The wood burner was nice to warm us up in the evenings, and wood and lighters provided made it easy to set and use.
The little extras provided by the hosts were very well received thank you, and the very well stocked village shop just down the road had everything else you could possibly need.
Lovely little pub (Coach and Horses) at the end of the road too, which offer amazing food and a great atmosphere. Locals were so friendly, we will definitely be back. Dog hair on one of the blankets set off allergies. Check in code had to be re-verified on arrival as first didn't work, and very little phone signal to be able to confirm.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Max (9/5): Great little place would definitely return. - Squirrel barn was brilliant, just what we want for a couple of nights in the Cotswolds. Stunning location and great for walks from the village. If I had to say anything I’d of preferred a comfier sofa for relaxing on, the one there was a little small but everything else outweighs this small issue.
- Ashleigh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Greg (7/5): Good - Lovely location for walking and relaxing Bed was a little to firm for our liking but it didn't spoil our stay
- Ellie (6/5): overpriced - location is very good The furniture wasn’t very comfortable and some of the finishings felt cheap for the nightly rate.
