• Tom (10/5): Modern en goed gelegen flat voorzien van alle comfort - Goede ligging en voorzien van alle comfort. De auto kon op een veilige plaats worden geparkeerd op wandelafstand van de flat. Goede ontvangst en communicatie met gastheer Bernard.
• Martine (9/5): Prima centrale plek in een mooi royaal appartement - Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie centrale locatie, ruim appartement, aparte plek om fietsen te stallen en een aparte plek voor de auto. In de keuken was niet alles even schoon

• Denise (6/5): - This is a spacious bright apartment with comfortable furnishings and everything you need in an excellent, central location. It was fantastic to have central secure parking. There was a strong smell of drains in the bathroom which extended into the flat if you didn't keep the door closed, and the pillows were stained and smelled. (The host did replace them when I requested different ones.) There is quite a lot of road noise but this is to be expected in such a central location.

• Suzanne (8/5): Top locatie! - De locatie is top! Ook erg fijn dat er een berging is waar we de fietsen konden stallen. En natuurlijk de parkeerplaats. Ruime badkamer. Prima verblijf voor een paar dagen. Bij aankomst moesten we de kopjes nog afwassen omdat de vorige bewoners deze vies in de kast hadden geplaatst. Tip: leg een paar vaatwas blokjes neer, kost vrij weinig en kan dit voorkomen. En bij de schoonmaak, kijk ook naar het plafond. Boven de tafel hadden spinnetjes een stevig web rondom de lampen gemaakt.

I especially appreciated the private parking that was available which was very convenient and put this property ahead of other choices. There was some noise in the street at night, which I understand is outside of the host's control.

• Lianne (9/5): Prima locatie waar we van genoten hebben - Prachtige plek, uitstekende locatie om de stad en omgeving te bezoeken. Goed en opgemaakt bed (extra dekbed en kussens aanwezig), ingerichte keuken met vaatwasser en fijne badkamer. Handdoeken lagen zelfs klaar. Een pluspunt was zeker de afgesloten eigen parkeerplaats. Een aanrader!

• Jeremy (8/5): Pick of the poppies. - Poppies flat No1 was terrific! The location is superb and flat No1 has a nice little balcony with a pleasant view. Perfect for a contemplative sit down before or after submerging yourself in the history of this place. Fully equipped and a very comfortable bed. Good quality tea and coffee was a nice little bonus. It’s those small touches of generosity that count when you are a traveler. There were a couple of minor niggles re: tech connectivity that the manager was quick to try and rectify.
• Hamilton (10/5): apartment in Ypres centre. - Lovely old building very well renovated. Very clean and all mod cons. And only a short walk to town centre. Plus added bonus of secure off street parking a short walk away. Nothing , highly recommended.

• HvH (9/5): Prima en schoon appartement - De lokatie is op loopafstand van de Grote Markt en Menenpoort Prima appartement en alles wat we nodig hadden. 1 punt van aandacht. De tv hangt wel hoog. We vonden 2 vaatdoekjes die niet gewisseld waren.
• J.H. (9/5): Nieuw mooi appartement met gratis private parking op loopafstand - Zeer mooi appartement, schoon, erg rustig en op loopafstand van het centrum van Ieper. Met gratis parkeergelegenheid op loopafstand. Zeer grote badkamer, wat wij een plus vonden. Het gebouw en alle appartementen waren zowel binnen als buiten nieuw. Alles in detail, zo mooi. Voor ons het mooiste appartement waar wij tot nu toe zijn geweest in 18 jaar!

• Bouman (9/5): Een aanrader! - Wat een mooi complex aan de Klaverstraat 1A. Mooi modern appartement in een sfeervol gebouw met lift op loopafstand van het centrum, met gratis privé parkeren op loopafstand. Super vriendelijke ontvangst en een complete uitrusting in de keuken. Handdoeken en beddengoed zijn aanwezig. Ook de brandveiligheid is prima op orde met overal brandmelders en blusmiddelen. Zeker een aanrader om hier te verblijven bij een bezoek aan Ieper.
• Mieke (8/5): Goed apartement, geweldige locatie. - De locatie is geweldig. Net buiten het centrum, alles op loopafstand. Het bed is zeer goed (als je van stevige bedden houdt). Goede verwarming, fijne badkamer. Het apartement is op zich volledig ingericht. Toch ontbreken een aantal zaken om het echt af te maken: schoonmaakmiddelen (stofzuiger of stoffer en blik, een schone vaatdoek). Ook zou het fijn zijn als er wat basisbenodigdheden zouden staan om te koken, zoals peper en zout, wat olie of iets dergelijks. Is striktgenomen geen onderdeel van de uitrusting, maar zou wel zeer prettig zijn. Geen plek om een volle afvalbak te legen. De eethoek is klein en zeer oncomfortabel: de tafel is veel te hoog voor de stoelen die erbij staan. Apartement is niet geweldig schoongemaakt. Op de jaloezieën zit een dikke laag stof, en er liggen zowel op het tapijt als in de badkamer lange haren.

• Meijer (8/5): Super verblijf in mooi modern appartement. - Geweldige locatie in het Centrum met parkeergelegenheid in de buurt. Je loopt zo vanuit de accomodatie naar het Centrum, terrasjes, musea e.a. En een supermarkt dichtbij. Het appartement op de begane grond heeft wel te maken met veel geluid van langsrijdend verkeer (Bussen, auto's e.a.)

• Yvan (10/5): Prachtige, ruime studio met uitstekende uitrusting - Prachtige, ruime en comfortabele studio, super badkamer en zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Gunstige ligging en parkeerplaats werd ter beschikking gesteld (gratis). Zeker aan te raden voor een bezoek aan de streek, er zijn ook fietsen beschikbaar en er is een fietsenstalling. Er viel absoluut niets tegen, het is een uitzonderlijk goed adres.

• Ian (10/5): Fantastic apartment near the centre of town. will definitely return and would recommend. - Location was excellent, close to the town centre. Secure parking nearby was brilliant. The whole apartment has been recently refurbished and is in as 'new' condition. Lovely place to stay! Nothing. Maybe a second pillow each, but that's all.

• TIMOTHY (10/5): Very quirky, very different, very nice, comfortable and great location, especially if you like boats - We thought that the property description on Bookings.com was very accurate, however we did not really know what to expect at the time and we were certainly not disappointed. The host is wonderful and colorful and added to the whole experience. The accommodation we had (double room ground floor or first deck level if you like) was large, quirky, comfortable and spacious plus the ensuite bathroom was adequate. Highlights were the comfortable hanging bed, the breakfasts that the host provided every morning and the outdoor private verandah deck we had looking onto the river Rhyne. The host was also very helpful on what to do and where to go for a good meal. We had no dislikes as such but if you do have a car then parking could be a bit challenging, but the host can help with advice there as well. Travelling around Europe with big suitcases can be challenging when you arrive at the houseboat, best to travel lite or make sure you get the room on the ground floor.
• Kris (8/5): - De locatie was super goed,het was ook heel proper leuk ingericht, Bernard heeft ons ook uitstekend ontvangen en was aangenaam in de omgang en instap douche was ook leuk. Ik ben nogal een moeilijke slaper maar dat lag niet aan het bed die was zeer zacht en goed. Mischien de kleine zeteltjes in de living vervangen door een grote als daar de ruimte voor zou zijn ?

• Carol (10/5): Perfection - The property was in excellent condition. It was of a generous size for 2 people in a perfect location for access to local bars, restaurants, and historic sights. The private parking area was an added bonus. Checking in was very flexible to suit the time we arrived, so we didn't have to wait around for a set time. The owner was extremely friendly and easy to talk too. There was nothing i didn't like or had a problem with.

The private parking is two blocks away, but it was easy to offload everything first and then park the car. Lots of helpful information in the folder in the apartment. A folder provides all possible info. The check-in manager Dominique was very friendly and happy for us to contact anytime. Would stay again. Nothing.
• Wade (10/5): Great Choice - Very new, clean, comfortable, great shower. Great location, quick walk to sights and restaurants. Good kitchen set up. No issues or surprises.
• Ward (9/5): Perfect place - Everything, great location far enough to be quiet but close enough to be a few minutes walk to get a drink and some food, free parking included, elevator for taking your cases up and disabled access although there is a step into the reception. Very clean and you even get a little tour by the owner so felt really well treated. The handbook you're given is full of everything you could want to know about the apartment and town really helped us out. Only thing was the TV could not connect to the guest Wi-Fi as it can't get past the portal so no streaming services after a long day of walking. Id suggest creating another network or wiring it in. Of course others may not be bothered but after seeing everything it's just what we needed. Could do with more than One pillow for each side of the bed, I'll admit I didn't ask so there could be some laying about somewhere.

• Martin (9/5): Would definitely use this apartment again. Great facilities and superb location. - Bernard was very welcoming, secure free parking, great apartment. Kitchen, bathroom, rooms were superb. Bed linen. Very minor point - just not up to the same quality as the rest of the apartment.
• Michael (10/5): Most enjoyable at one of our favourite places in Belgium - Very well appointed, and well decorated. Mostly well equipped, and comfortable. Pillows were rather too soft and square is a rather unusual shape. We had to augment them with cushions - which is not ideal. Two rectangular pillows for each person would have been better. It would have been helpful to know we’d need to buy extra toilet rolls and washing up liquid. Disposal of rubbish from the rather small bin was a slight problem. No outside bins into which to empty them.

• Thea (10/5): Amazing apartment! Modern and Beautiful! - Great location in Ypres. Close to shops and restaurants. Everything was very walkable. Very recently renovated and spacious apartment. It was clean and well looked after. The balcony was also a nice addition and it was lovely to sit out in the sun. Bonus was that the building had an elevator, which was nice as I didn't need to lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs. Nothing. All great!

• Jacqueline (6/5): Lovely flat but needs some fine tuning - Flat was beautiful & in a great location; but bed had no mattress protector on it and the mattress was stained, pillow’s had no protectors on and they smelled of greasy heads. Coffee maker had old stale coffee in, it hadn’t been emptied, under the bed was the thicker layer of dust you have ever seen and there was an old battery under it. Flat could do with a can opener and some more cups, 24 glasses and only 3 cups and 3 teaspoons doesn’t really make sense. We were there for a week but there was no change of towels,so if you chose to stay longer than a weekend towels are needed. Car parking was in a locked carpark about 8 minute walk away which was fine as the weather was beautiful. You can park on the street opposite the flats, but only for two hours with a pass. Checking in wasn’t the easiest either, I text first thing of the morning we were due to arrive as we had no instructions of what to do on our arrival; I didn’t receive a reply from the owner. I rang when we were outside the flats and was advised to go up to the flat on the second floor and the owner said he would meet us there in 20 mins, which he did, he explained the car-parking situation. There were No instructions where to take rubbish, so I text the owner to ask but he didn’t respond to my message.
• Kathryn (10/5): Top notch stay in Ypres - It was so refreshing to be greeted by the owner rather than using a lockbox! Bernard was friendly and quick to respond to queries/questions. The flat itself was perfect - everything you needed; super clean; comfy mattress; cooking facilities; warm and cosy; lovely shower and so convenient for walking into Ypres.

• Darren (9/5): Great place to stay - The property is new so everything was clean and tidy, location is great with parking either just outside or down the road a little. There is also secure parking a couple of minutes away. Bed is very comfortable and the shower is good. Was only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Not really anything I did not like but could do with a mixing bowl and measuring jug.

• Sally (8/5): Brand new flats in a great spot! - It was a beautifully decorated apartment. Everything was brand new. Secure, gated parking was just a short walk away. It was only a 5 minute walk into the main square too. Bernard was a brilliant host. He explained everything in great detail. Unfortunately the lounge sofa was really uncomfortable. It wasn't great to relax in which was what we wanted. The kitchen lacked utensils (a spatula for fried eggs, large spoons etc)

• Kathleen (10/5): Perfect. - This place was absolutely excellent. It was in a great location not far from the Cloth Market and the In Flanders Fields Museum. Dominic and the manager ( I cannot remember his name!) we're so helpful. This place is nicely equipped. There is an elevator which is so helpful. The place is brand new. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. I would go out of my way to stay here again. We liked it so much we added an extra night. There was nothing we did not like.

• Karen (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a quiet location yet a short walk to the centre of Ypres. - The apartment was extremely well located and very new and clean. Disc parking directly outside and a locked free car park just a short walk away. I’m nit-picking here…An extra toilet roll, a clean dish cloth and a few dishwasher tablets would have been a nice and really useful gesture. Details of local reasonably priced supermarkets (Lidl just is a 2 minute drive away) in your booklet would be a good idea too. The nearby Spar shop is very convenient but their prices are extortionate!

• Denise (9/5): Great short stay. - Great location with excellent parking nearby. Host was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him. The town is a fabulous place to visit. Would certainly come and stay here again. A bit more cutlery would have meant not having to use the dishwasher too much.

• Sarah (10/5): Fabulous place to stay in a charming town. - Poppies flat is in a building that is newly completed or renovated, so was lovely, fresh and sparklingly clean. The room was fabulous, really well equipped so perfect for our 3 night stay. The location was brilliant being only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Having secure parking was very welcome, although it is a 5 minute walk away from the apartment. Nothing to complain about from us.
