- Simon (10/5): Very comfortable stay - Wonderfully friendly family run business with a talented cook to make every meal special. Breakfasts were exceptional.
- Anita (10/5): Good location, helpful staff, super food and comfy room. Just what was ordered. - Lovely comfy room. All facilities that you require. Small details made it look cosy and welcoming. Lovely restaurant in the adjoining Pub with super food. Staff helpful and accommodating as we were having to leave early before breakfast. Breakfast parcel left at door for us. All these little thoughts are appreciated. Not applicable.
- Andrew (9/5): Super friendly, great food and nice quiet room. - Super friendly, great food although the property is on a main road, the room was quiet.
- Mark (9/5): - Clean, accommodating, comfortable beds. Good Breakfast.
- Dawn (8/5): - Lovely room A little bit far from Tetbury
- Darren (10/5): It was a nice place to stay with lovely hosts and the walk to tetbury is easy enough in nice weather only about 35-40 mi - The owners were lovely. The room was lovely and fresh and new. Breakfast was excellent with local produce. A lovely gluten free breakfast was made specially with homemade sausages which were so tasty. A short taxi ride from Tetbury or a half hour walk

- Mandy (9/5): - The host was lovely. The breakfast was fabulous and they catered for my dietary requirements.
- Diana (9/5): A very comfortable stay with delicious food! A real treat! - Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented.
There was attention to detail, for example, a lovely bone china tea set in the room with a jug of fresh milk. The proprietor was very friendly and available to respond to anything extra requested.
- David (9/5): We were stayin two nights for a wedding. Our hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much bother. We thoroughly enj - Comfortable room, well appointed along with great service for breakfast. Our evening meal was great too in the restaurant, which they allowed us to place an order even though we were arriving at the time the kitchen closed! Access to the room is from a yard, so you have to go outside to get to it. Ok when the weather is nice, but not so much in inclement weather.
- david (10/5): great accomodation , helpful friendly staff, good food and value for money - great breakfast , helpful staff going above and beyond with service, even dropping me into town

I had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully appointed guest room that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and serene. The room itself was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the host. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay comfortable. Whether it was offering local tips, ensuring I had everything I needed, or simply being a warm presence, their hospitality was second to none.
The location was perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to everything I wanted to explore. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to my next visit.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and delightful getaway! Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.

- David (10/5): Fabulous place to stay. - Trouble House was a fab choice we made and both loved as we wanted to visit Westonbirt Arboretum so this was just perfect for our stay. We were welcomed by the owner Jackie who greeted us on our arrival at Trouble House. A fantastic stay with quality food for our evening dinner and great breakfast the following morning.
Thanks again Jackie and your staff for a great one nights stay at your wonderful pub in Tetbury. ☆☆☆☆☆
- Carole (10/5): Excellent stay - Lovely host, could not have been more helpful. The room was beautiful with all required amenities, plus some extras with coffee pouches rather than instant. Only wish we could have stayed longer but works calls Nothing it was all spot on for a weekend away with a wheelchair user

Large comfortable well equipped room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Wish our schedule had allowed us to enjoy the restaurant and bar area further. Only very minor points for us but there is some road noise and you can hear sound from the accommodation above.
- Adele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Perfect stay in a perfect location - Upon arrival there was plenty of on site parking and we were warmly greeted by the owner Jackie and shown to the guest room. Beautiful location and the room exceeded expectations. Very comfy bed, bathroom very modern with lovely shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/water were provided in the room and I am sure if more were required this would have been provided. - Sophie (10/5): An absolute pleasure and would defo return - Stayed here because we were going to a wedding down the road and we're sad we didn't get to spend more time there! First and foremost the family who run it are absolutely amazing. Friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to help you. The room was perfect and had everything we needed (surfaces to put things on, hooks to hang things on, drinking water, TV, heater and even coloured flannels in the bathroom so you don't feel extra awful when you accidentally get eye make up on them). The breakfast was out of this world good too, I'd visit again just for that!

We had twin beds which were comfortable and again, very nicely decorated. The biscuits, hot drinks and water in the room were a lovely little extra. We had a fabulous full breakfast cooked by Jackie. Great service, great food and a lovely place to stay. Nothing to dislike
- Martin (9/5): We stayed just one night but the staff made us feel so special we could easily have stayed longer. - A historic old building with an interesting past. Situated in a peaceful location outside of town. Very olde world building but comfortable modern bathroom. Excellent bed. Staff were fabulous, no effort spared in making us comfortable. Excellent dining, as underlined by the number of non-staying guests eating at the restaurant. One of the best stays sp far this trip.
- Marina (9/5): Fantastic stay out - Jacqui and her husband were very kind and attentive. Thanks so much.
We liked the large bed, the cleanliness of the room, and the location of the accommodation because it was convenient for our cycling plans.
We also enjoyed the big breakfasts that we were served and the dinners that we had the opportunity to taste as well. We liked everything, but perhaps small things to take into account are that:
- the house is next to a main road, so you can hear some noise throughout the day.
- dinner is only served on certain nights, so make sure you communicate well with the landlady, and it should not be a problem at all as there are other pubs nearby if needed.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (9/5): Very good for anyone visiting Highgrove (just the other side of Tetbury) - Breakfast (full English) was excellent - very good sausages!
