- Margaret (9/5): A very comfortable stay with welcoming hosts. - A lovely setting, convenient for travelling around the island, very welcoming and helpful hosts Shower. Handle was stiff but not a problem.

A few more kitchen utensils would be helpful and maybe a small 'welcome pack' i.e. bread, butter and milk - charge a little more for the booking to cover this.

- Jeremy (8/5): Nice apartment with stunning hillside views - Comfortable apartment with large rooms and good a/c in the bedrooms. Nice sitting out areas although lush vegetation encouraged biting insects!
Location is quite central on the island and although DJM Mini Mart is walkable (during daylight hours at least) a car is highly recommended. We tried Darkwood Bay but much preferred the more relaxed approach at Long Bay Beach (20 minute drive and roads generally excellent) where the swimming was superb.
Also recommend a visit to the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda in St. Johns and to Betty's Hope plantation museum while you are on the island. Steep steps to top floor apartment, very hot in the afternoons, no pool. Went down to English Harbour but found it quite expensive and not very welcoming.

Allowed us to reach any beach in Antigua with a ~25 minute drive, helping us visit over a dozen beaches during our nine- night stay.
You have washing machine access, and there is a twice weekly room clean. Professional customer service from Lionel, the manager.
I would strongly advise anyone looking for an affordable Antigua trip to look no further. You may get the occasional mosquito, given the rural location. However, the ceiling fan, air conditioning and repellent can deter them.

The electrical stove didn't seem to wori(or just me didn't know how to use it). The location is not bad but does require at least 10-15 min walk to main street for bus stop and convenient store, and the walk can be very dark at night. One just needs to aware what s/he had signed up

Loved the views from the apartment across to the big peaks. It was very convenient for getting to the places I needed to go by car - airport, various harbours. Coud do with just a little more cooking equipment - e.g. a pyrex dish with cover to use in the microwave. Decent sharp kitchen knife.

The hosts are amazing people - very friendly and helpful. Organised transport to cricket and airport. Maybe the rooms could do with a bit of an update.

All Utensil, refrigerator stove and matches was available for our use and functional.
We loved the area, the scenery, and It was good to have Laundry service on site.
Any issue arose it was promptly taken care of.
Had A/C, running water and Electricity at all time, even when the Govt, system was down they had their own back up.
The Owners were very friendly and Humble. a little more padding on the bed.

We rented an SUV from him and toured the entire island.
He also does a free shuttle back and forth to the airport. No spices or anything to flavour your food, no coffee - but there is a maker and filters. But with Covid I understand.
Basically just bring your own seasonings and the problem is solved.
