Fay (6/5): Hotel was ok, but not of 5* calibre - Very well located, easy walking distance to most major sights Street facing room on low floor was far less noisy than expected Staff in the front desk were great, accommodated our pre-check in request with no issue and were generally helpful throughout the stay Didn’t feel like a 5* at all. We preference staying in boutique, design-driven hotels so have a lot of reference points, including another hotel on this same trip in Rome that was excellent, and this simply didn’t measure up. The furniture in the room was very haphazard, nothing matched or felt intentional, or particularly functional - small bedside tables, wardrobe that was difficult to hang things in. Room also had very high ceilings and low natural light with lighting that wasn’t sufficient so the room felt dingy. Breakfast was mediocre, especially the selection of fruits and vegetables with the dishes. Ordered the pancakes one morning expecting them to come with fruits/berries but they were simply just pancakes. Vegetables with the eggs was simply a side salad and not cooked. Is this a huge issue? No. But it just doesn’t align with experiences or expectations of a hotel in this class. Everything was “fine”, nothing was awful about the stay, but was ultimately disappointing for expectations of a 5*, luxury hotel.

Mohamed (10/5): Absolutely beautiful - Where do I start? The staff were exceptionally helpful. We wanted some help with rental cars and they immediately assisted in that. We wanted to go to the outlet mall and they provided full instructions and how to get discount. Every-time I called reception I knew that whatever my concern was it was going to be resolved. We went there for our honeymoon. The preps for the room was above and beyond. My wife was very happy and so I was happy. The facilities are all there, from full-access spa to wonderful breakfast and dinner, to a gym, to a pilates area with private instructors, and to yoga classes. We almost felt like we didn’t want to even leave the hotel and see Florence. I had no intentions to revisiting a place I have already been to, but hotel number nine made me want to keep revisiting Florence. Nothing, zero. nada

I really don’t know how do get the five stars, you deserve 3 stars! We do not like of anything, the breakfast I paid for and went for one day and the rest I had out of the hotel. Desde nuestra ventana se veía la torre de Santa María si Fiori. La recepcionista, Rebecca, un encanto, amable a más no poder y dispuesta a solucionar cualquier duda. Fue la que nos atendió y le damos un 10. El resto del personal imagino que es igual. No puedo decir nada. Todo de maravilla.

But the hotel shows wear and very peculiarly furniture choices bathroom could use updating daughter turned on jets and black debris came out. Under no circumstances is this luxury or 5 stars. JosephM4703 (10/5): Great place to stay!! - Hotel Number Nine is an amazing place to stay by everything you could want in Florance. The hotel is well appointed and had really great staff we were able to work with on trips and places to eat. We had a triple room / suite that was stunning and large. A double size white pool tub and massive shower. Breakfast at Daisy’s was a great way to start the day each morning. Only disappointment was we did not get to see a jazz show at Daisy’s in the evening on the dates we were there, but we were there Sunday through Wednesday. They posted the show dates and our schedule did not align. Would stay here again without question. Walking distance to every major landmark we wanted to visit.

Staff were so helpful when it came to bookings and reservations. In-house cocktail bar, with phenomenal in-house band, led by the wonderful Daisy. The hotel is central, yet so quiet, until you open your windows and hear the cathedral's bells... Very convenient location for sights, bars and restaurants, and a short walk to the main train station. Perfect!

silviaj598 (10/5): Recommended experience in Florence - Highly recommended. The hotel’s service was amazing — all the staff were always super friendly and professional. The hotel’s location is just steps away from Duomo and train station. We stayed in a triple room and it was super. The room was well equipped with 2 bathrooms, the mattress was so comfortable that I literally didn’t want to step outside. There were also a plenty of choices for the breakfast. And make sure to try the spa and the gym (FREE). The option to check-out at 12:00pm is very convenient. PS: asked the staff for some restaurants recommendations. They have really good taste.

Andrea (7/5): Al di sotto delle aspettative - La posizione è ottima, vicino sia alla stazione ferroviaria che al centro della città. La camera (Junior suite) molto grande e molto pulita, letto molto comodo e spugne super morbide. Il personale è gentilissimo e forse è il vero plus di questa struttura. L'insonorizzazione delle finestre che danno sulla strada è scarsa e di notte si sentono tutti i rumori della strada, la colazione pur abbastanza buona (soprattutot le brioche) è scarsa in quantità con un piccolissimo buffet con due sole torte e un po' di frutta. La SPA ha un forte odore di fogna nella zona TV e l'idromassaggio non funziona correttamente. Attenzione poi a quello che loro considerano mini bar, sembrano prodotti offerti, non ci sono i prezzi accanto ma poi consuntivano tutto.

Jonathan (9/5): Bella struttura in centro a Firenze - La palestra e la spa , mai vista in un hotel una palestra così completa e la spa è sicuramente particolare e completa Camera molto elegante e pulita. Posizione super La colazione, non all'altezza di un 5 stelle. Proposta alla carta ( compresa nel prezzo) limitata anche se i prodotti sono di qualità. Molto scenica la presentazione, come lo spazio colazione, ma alcuni particolari a buffet renderebbero molto meglio e sgraverebbero il personale di tanto lavoro.

tessa (7/5): Overall disappointing - It says it has a parking but they don’t and they charge you 50€ for the night to put your car in while it’s not mentioned. Accessing by car you need the most complicated explanation and realistically impossible to follow to avoid getting fined to get there. In too if that when you arrive when I arrive the person for the car wasn’t there no one to help with car and luggage. The design is pretty awkward overall and extremely hard to find the restaurant. The bed mattress was old had a dipped shape already and pillows were definitely not you expect or a 5 star hotel.

mckentys2022 (10/5): Must stay hotel - Well worth a stay. The Nine Suite was amazing. Staff very attentive. We went to a Bond themed evening which was fun. Top 5 of my hotels.

M7127MMnickh (10/5): Perfection! - This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here - the 1st was during my honeymoon 3 years ago. This 2nd visit surpassed that. Upon arrival, I was advised that I had been given a room upgrade, which was lovely. After having a glass of Prosecco (free of charge) handed to me whilst I filled out the registration form, I was shown my suite (upgraded from a double room) where I found a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket, along with a selection of macarons and a beautiful hand-written note welcoming us back and wishing us a happy anniversary. What a fabulous and thoughtful surprise! From there on in EVERYTHING was perfect! The staff are exceptionally attentive without being invasive. The hotel is extremely comfortable in every way. The breakfast is served in their ‘club’ restaurant attached to the main hotel (this is new from my last visit) which was very lovely. The ambience was superb and very relaxed, and the food and service was excellent. I could go on and on, mention that the location is barely a minute’s walk from the Duomo, etc, etc but I’ll leave it now. Suffice to say this hotel was perfection!

Minji (1/5): 비추천 - 위치는 좋았다 일박 140만원의 가치는 정말 정말 없는 숙소다. 어떻게 이 호텔이 5성급일수가 있는지 의문이다. 아무리 성수기라도 이 호텔이 140만원의 가치가 있는지는 정말 모르겠고 조식 포함으로 했음에도 불구하고 우리가 묵은 다음날 레스토랑은 문을 닫았고 호텔의 시설도 매우 낡았으며 부킹 사이트의 사진과 실제 시설은 너무나도 달랐다.
Tanya (7/5): Good but not great - Great location. The spa was surprisingly nice. It’s good for a quick weekend break. The room was comfortable and ready early. Shower was great. The room 205 was spacious like an apartment but faced a wall so it was dark. This is not a 5 star property in terms of overall experience; it was nice enough but not a wow. It feels like a modern apartment building melded with a Moroccan Shishah club.

Stephane (10/5): Service impeccable, hôtel propre et bien situé - J’ai passé un excellent moment dans cet hôtel en famille . L’accueil était chaleureux et professionnel, le personnel toujours souriant et disponible. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien équipée. Le petit-déjeuner était varié . L’emplacement est idéal, proche des principaux points d’intérêt. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour agréable — je reviendrai avec plaisir !
