- Emily (10/5): Great overnight stay! - Comfortable & clean stay with all amenities required. The parking space outside was convenient and the tea/coffee/milk and homemade shortbread was a thoughtful touch.
- Katharine (10/5): Great property and so glad I chose it. - Great views from house. Spacious and spotlessly clean with separate rooms and everything we needed. Very welcoming host. Easy parking next to house. Nothing!
- Gail (10/5): -
- ewyena (10/5): Perfect stay at the Scottish border - Perfect location go to the ferry port as well as visit the border, which is a beautiful area. Cleanliness is perfect, spacious, comfortable. In the house everything was OK, I can't say anything I didn't like
- Sturrock (10/5): Perfect in every way. - Location is excellent. Very quiet but near amenities and with easy access to Dumfries and other towns.
The Annexe is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could need supplied.
Rodney was extremely helpful and informative and we were lucky enough to benefit from some of the delicious plums from his garden. Nothing
- ewyena (10/5): Good location above the Scottish border - The owner met me upon arrival and he was very welcoming, showing around the property and explain everything. The annex is very spacious and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, quiet and calm. I drove to the Cairnryan Port to Northern Ireland and it is just in the perfect location to get there easily. Also I spent another night there on my way back. The bio cucumber from their garden was a tasty bonus, thank you for that:) I liked everything. Maybe a fan would have been advantageous, as that was the hottest day of the year, but I can accept, that this heat is very rare in Scotland, maybe 1-2 days a year only.
- Kay (10/5): Home from Home. - Spotlessly clean, very well appointed.
The owners were very welcoming and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Nothing.

- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptionally clean & comfortable in a fantastic location being able to sit having breakfast watching the wildlife
- Susan (10/5): Lovely stay in first class accommodation - The cottage was in a perfect position, immaculate and well equipped. The view from the lounge was outstanding. Rodney was very helpful and informative.
- Linsey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Could not ask for more - Just like a standard house. All the equipment necessary, no surprise. Owner living just by the rental. Warm welcome. Everything explained in person and through a booklet. Lots of space (inside and outside, parking as well), nearby mini grocery store - tesco. Standard fridge (not the little ones). Super clean. Modern. Looks like it was built within the year. In our top 5 of house rentals we’ve had (over 25). Nothing.
- Hough (10/5): Spacious accomodation of very high quality. - Very spacious. Everything you might want is provided including homemade shortbread.
- Peter (10/5): Highly recommendable place to stay. Perfect for the places we visited. - The host was waiting when we arrived. He showed us into the property and gave us a tour of everything including the heating controls. He fully explained all the rules, along with showing us where contact details were. He made it clear to let him know if there were any issue and he would sort them immediately. Being from the same area originally we had a number of chats about places we both knew. I cannot recommend Meadowbank highly enough, in fact hopefully, we can go back again sometime for another stay. Absolutely nothing. Everything lived up to our ecpectations in terms of accomodation and friendliness.
- Sylvia (10/5): Perfect in every way. Couldn’t have been better. - Everything was perfect. Excellent location and beautiful accommodation. There was nothing to dislike.

- David (10/5): A place I would recommend and go back to anytime - It's a newly built annexe, presented in great condition with everything new. Very comfortable and homely, easy access to Dumfries and surroundings and parking right at the door! Can't think of anything, all good.
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional - The annexe was extremely well equipped spotlessly clean a real home from home our host went the extra mile by putting a pint of milk in the fridge leaving a plate of home made biscuits along with tea coffee and sugar Nothing to dislike
- Ahmed (10/5): Felt like home - care of owners about the details Nothing
- David (10/5): Great place in a great location with excellent facilities. - This is great accommodation for short stays. Was met by the owner who showed me round and explained how everything worked. A plate of home made biscuits with coffee and fresh milk provided was a great way to start the visit. Will definitely be back. Only very minor thing is that the lounge would benefit from a couple of lamps as ceiling lights can be a bit harsh, this would make the room even cosier!.
