• Mark and Merilyne Vella (9/5): - Great Location, however the street in front was undergoing maintenance. We were not aware of this. Nearby Via Ottavaino is amazing. There is public transport only 50 meters away. The appartment is spacious and clean. Prior to coming Luciana was frequently in contact with us. The appartment is ideal for a family, or several couples travelling together.

• Aleksandra (8/5): Duży, wygodny apartament w idealnej lokalizacji - Mieszkanie jest bardzo przestronne i w dobrej lokalizacji - tuż pod Watykanem, a do pozostałych atrakcji albo niedługa trasa (średnio po 1,3km), albo idealne miejsce do wskoczenie w autobus czy metro. Sporo restauracji w okolicy i sklepików spożywczych czy z pamiątkami. Mieszkanie jest dobrze wyposażone - wygodne i ogromne łóżka, dwie łazienki, spory salon z kuchnią w którym też można spać (testowałam kanapę w salonie i jest wygodna do spania nawet dla 2os), a w kuchni jest większość potrzebnych sprzętów. Sama kamienica ma windę, ale mieszkanie jest na pierwszym piętrze - dosłownie kilkanaście schodów do wejścia. Dziedziniec z palmami wewnątrz jest bardzo klimatyczny. Luciana jest przemiłą, troskliwą gospodynią, szybko odpowiadała na wcześniejsze zapytania - dziękujemy za świetną opiekę. Mieszkanie ma za sobą pierwszą świeżość jeśli chodzi o stan i zużycie sprzętów. Nie ma klimatyzacji (były dziury po niej więc może wróci). Akustyka w mieszkaniu nie jest idealna - mocno słychać sąsiadów z góry i boków. Za oknem salonu obecnie (kwiecień 2026) trwa remont drogi, który startuje przed 7:00 rano i kończył często po 22:00. Mieszkanie ma specyficzny wystrój - trochę artystyczny, trochę antyki, może się podobać, ale wszystkie bibeloty zbierają kurz i zajmują dużo miejsca. Alergicy trochę narzekali na kurz, bo jakkolwiek było wysprzątane i czysto, to liczba zdobień, girland itd w różnych miejscach jednak kurz zbiera. Byliśmy w 6 osób więc żeby położyć walizki czy swoje rzeczy sporo ozdób pochowaliśmy czy przestawiliśmy. W kuchni brak zmywarki, część sprzętów dość zużyta i domaga się wymiany - ale np zepsuty czajnik dostaliśmy tego samego dnia nowy :) Ogólnie - jest to stare mieszkanie w starej kamienicy ze starymi instalacjami, ale urządzone około 10-12 lat temu. Ma swój klimat i mieszkało nam się naprawdę wygodnie. Uciążliwości były drobne i zasadniczo nie psuły nam całościowego pozytywnego obrazu tego miejsca.

• Sarah (8/5): Great location, good food nearby, we really enjoyed it. - The location is excellent - very close to Vatican/St Peters & metro station to access the rest of Rome. Some lovely restaurants nearby (we liked Il Ciociaro next door, Luma Bistro & Il Ragno d’Oro). Luciana was a very helpful & friendly host & the apartment decor is fab. The only downside is that there is a bit of noise from the street which might impact light sleepers.

Miejsce z duszą - przestronnie, wygodnie i z niesamowitym klimatem artystycznym (liczne obrazy, piękne retro dodatki/wyposażenie). Jest wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy na nasz rodzinny pobyt, a moje towarzyszki są bardzo wymagające :) (wyjazd z żoną i dwiema dorosłymi córkami///w ocenie dziewczyn tylko łazienki mogły być większe :) - dla mnie bomba! ;)). Wszędzie blisko, a jeśli ktoś nie lubi godzinami wędrować po mieście to w okolicy jest świetny dostęp do komunikacji miejskiej. Kontakt z właścicielką 100% bezproblemowy i w bardzo dobrej atmosferze. • Donna (10/5): We had an amazing stay. I would totally recommend this place. Better than expected. - It was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was fabulous. Good restaurants in the area. The metro was just outside the door. Our host was most helpful and very accommodating. We were 4 ladies and we all had our own room. Was so easy to check in. Nothing. It was perfect.
• Iyad (8/5): Super Wohnung in perfekter Innenstadtlage, die alles bietet, was man braucht. - Die Lage ist sauber, Einrichtung war sehr gut. In der Küche fehlt ein Ofen und ein Geschirrspüler, aber die hätten wir beide nicht gebraucht, weil wir jeden Tag Essen waren. Das Einchecken und die Kommunkation mit Luciana war super unkompliziert und sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es wurden viele Handtücher bereitgestellt. Die Wohnung und das Haus sind sehr hellhörig. Man konnte alles aus den anderen Zimmern hören und über uns ist eine Dame mit hochhackigen Schuhen rumgelaufen. Die Duschen sind etwas eng und weisen deutliche Gebrauchsspuren auf.

• Karen (8/5): Quirky, spacious apartment in great location. - Festina Lente is in a great location - right near a Metro station and within walking distance to key attractions such as the Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and a supermarket. It has a quirky, eclectic decorating style with lots of unusual art work and ornaments which made it fun. Two bathrooms with good supply of hot water. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped and included a washing machine which we appreciated. Communication with the host was excellent at all times and entry/exit instructions were very clear. During our stay two of the four air conditioners weren't working (in second and third bedroom) but the one in the lounge room was very efficient. The host had informed us prior to our arrival about the first one and had supplied a fan for that room; unfortunately the second one stopped working just after we arrived and the host wasn't able to get a technician to attend to them during our visit. We also found the main lounge and chair in the lounge room to be quite hard and uncomfortable.
• Gaetano (8/5): Direi ottimo e ci ritornerei volentieri - Struttura luminosa e pulita , letti comodi. Vicinissima la fermata della metro ottaviano.. per me è stata una bella esperienza. Non mi sono piaciuti i rumori che provenivano dal piano superiore e poi essendo vicino al piano terra si sentivano le voci dei ragazzi che sostavano vicino alla porta in attesa dell’arrivo dell ascensore . Ma qui non è colpa della gestione, purtroppo queste cose succedono ovunque.

Owner was very nice when I contacted them and was nice enough to leave a bottle of wine and some snacks. Only a few stairs to the front door handy if you have a lot of luggage. Showers are a touch on the small side and did leak a little Mattress was a little firm for my liking but I don’t think all 3 beds were like that maybe just the one I took

• Idus (8/5): the apartment is great to stay. - The location is good, but the nearest metro is closed under maintenance during our stay. the apartment is big enough and clean. we feel comfortable to stay here. the wireless internet access is not strong enough. the hot water boiler is insufficient to provide the hot or warm water during shower. most of the time we need to have a cold shower instead.

• Jeanne (9/5): Loved this well-appointed apartment in the heart of Rome!! - The location was excellent. We were within walking distance to Vatican City and many other sites, such as The Pantheon, fountains, ponte vecchios, castles, cathedrals, and we reached them all in just one walk. The apartment was lovely, comfortable, nicely furnished and historic. We had a full kitchen with washing machine and really felt like we could live here. We loved the private gated courtyard outside the apartment. I would come back to this apartment time and time again. It seems the air conditioner in the middle bedroom is leaking and could use a little maintenance. I had to keep it on a low setting to prevent it from leaking. I did make the owner aware of it before we left. We were only there for 2 nights.

Luciana was an incredible host, offering a spacious, spotless, comfortable (beds) and beautiful apartment for us. She was also very flexible when our arrival was delayed due to a train delay, and provided several recommendations for a late dinner upon our arrival. We were so grateful and selected the restaurant just below the apartment - it was one of the best meals we had during our stay in Rome! I would highly recommend choosing Festina Lente for your stay, particularly if you are visiting the Vatican area! Nothing - everything was amazing. Just wish we would have booked it for our entire stay in Rome.

• Zarina (10/5): Excellent stay, highly recommended for families and groups. - Festina Lente is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Families and groups. We were accommodated and welcomed warmly. It is close to Metro Ottaviano, cafe bars, small grocers, small shopping areas like BERSHKA. It is keyless entry in the apartment. Our host communicated with us timely. Thank you! I wish they had clothes drying rack (big and foldable), that can be used, after we do laundry.

• Andy (8/5): Lovely long weekend stay in Rome near the Vatican - Excellent location near the metro and Vatican city, easy to find with a good choice of cafes and restaurants nearby. Our host was excellent and very helpful and attentive giving great recommendations for places to eat and helping us find luggage storage for our last day. The apartment is big and quite spacious for our group size and reasonably priced. We couldn't get in through the main entrance door on arrival and had to wait 10-15 minutes until someone let us in there. From there it was a door code and easy to get into the apartment. It's above a restaurant so a bit of street noise kept one of our group awake and the kitchen is very basic so you need to eat out.

• Răzvan (9/5): Great location, good value - Location is perfect, you literally have to walk for about 2-3 minutes to Ottaviano metro station and for about 10 minutes to Piazza San Pietro, you can dine around the apartament with confindence and you have a Carefour supermarket at about 7 minutes walk. The flat is spacious, it has all it needs, it can host up to 6 people, you have 2 bathrooms and our host, Luciana, was very friendly and helped us with a taxi for the day of check out, since our plane left early in the morning so there was no metro available at that hour. The wifi/internet was not working. Maybe because the router did not had any internet cable in it to work
• Gordana (10/5): When we come again to Rome I have no doubt where to stay :) - This is a perfect location to explore Rome. Vatican is on a walking distance and old town is 2 metro station far. Metro station is just in front of the building. The appartmant has everything you need, it's clean, big even for the family, with charming enterior. Luciana help us a lot, from the first moment, accepted our kids earlier then the time for check-in was, becouse they were very tired from the trip, and on the last day help us with the taxi. Thank you Luciana, you made our perfect Rome holiday!!! Everything was perfect

Walking to meet our tour for the Vatican was easy and not far. Owners were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect with a nice restaurant / pizzeria below and lots of other good eateries close by. We would definitely stay there again! There were No dislikes at all. We wish we were in town longer to enjoy the property.
