I loved the atmosphere and all the attentions like fresh flowers, tea, candles, lights, books, eggs, even pasta if you forget your groceries. The place is clean and very well equipped. Very confortable bed. Between the city and the national park , great location . Vera is very nice . I came here to relax and rest and it was the perfect place. I will definitely stay again . • Eleanor (8/5): A Stylish Space in Beautiful Surroundings - This is a beautiful, stylish and well equipped space. The surroundings are lovely. There were many thoughtful touches, like real house plants and fresh flowers. We were given a hand to unload our car, even though it was raining. The host is friendly, kind and responsive. We were very glad to have space to park in the driveway, as on-street parking is hard to find. The mattress on the bed was softer than we are used to. It won’t suit people (like us) who sleep best on a firm mattress.

• Charles (9/5): Quality studio apartment in a natural setting. - The apartment was spacious and clean with contemporary, comfortable furniture. Kitchenette was ideal for preparing light meals. View across estuary was terrific complemented by lots of native birds in the trees. Bed was one of the best we’ve had. 2 person kayaking in the tidal estuary was a bonus. Vera our host super helpful. We really liked the apartment itself and were glad the website mentioned there were quite a few steps to get down to it - good for fitness! Ideally a vehicle is needed as it is away from main public transport corridors.
• Paul (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing with nature at your doorstep. - Lovely quiet accommodation surrounded by nature, the sound of birds and an estuary below. Exceptionally clean apartment, beautifully furnished, well stocked with kitchen items, an excellent selection of teas, coffee pods, freshly laid eggs from the 4 resident chickens, home grown tomatoes, herbs and much more. Our host Vera was lovely and welcoming. Will definitely stay again. Our stay was too short.
• David (10/5): Relaxing, picturesque, quiet & naturalist - The location was great, it was relaxing, picturesque, quiet & brilliant if you are into nature. Seeing and hearing all the wildlife (birds) was really amazing. It had all the amenities & our host was fantastic & very helpful Tips • Nearest shops are about a 10-minute drive • Make sure you can call Australian numbers from your phone if you need to contact the host Nothing really, there are lots of steps but that it very clear in the description and I did find it hard to find but not a major issue

• Hayley (10/5): 10/10 would recommend! - Loved everything about it! Lovely host, super clean, great location. Even saw a little ray in the nearby river. Would absolutely stay again! Didn't bother me or my partner, but wouldn't recommend this place if you are unable to climb a lot of stairs.

• Elizabeth (8/5): A very comfortable, peaceful stay surrounded by the natural world. - The host Vera was exceptional. She was willing to meet any questions or issues we had. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of easy chairs for relaxation. The garden gave a peaceful outlook over a river creek below. There were plenty of extras for adding to any food preparation and the kitchenette was well supplied with crockery and pans. The shower room was spacious and well supplied with shower gel and shampoo. Because the area is very hilly, the WiFi is intermittent but again our host tried to find ways to improve this. For anyone with mobility problems, the steep access by steps might be difficult. We were given help with our bags by the son of the house. My understanding is that this property is still in development as the family live above the large studio.

• Powis (10/5): A blissful retreat that I would hope to repeat in the future - The location is idyllic, and felt very removed from the rush of a city. Lovely waking to the birds each morning, and finding a deer and her faun were sleeping just below the garden at night. Vera is a very thoughtful and gracious host. She is also a font of information about local attractions. Excellent communication and attention to detail. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like
• Gillian (10/5): Top class accommodation & host - Lovely place to stay. The accommodation was wonderful and well stocked with kitchen items. Fresh fruit, herbs and flowers from the garden on arrival along with eggs from the chickens that live on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was extremely helpful & kind. Nothing.
