- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - I have never seen a place where the hosts have thought of so many little details to make life easier and the stay more comfortable. The apartment is beautiful, clean, freshly renovated and nicely decorated. In addition, everything is arranged in a very practical way and most of the things you might need are there. The kitchen is very well equipped and it's unlikely that you will miss anything. There was salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, water and ice in the fridge, plus some welcome snacks. The bathroom is also very well organized and equipped. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and even cotton swabs, toothpicks with floss and cotton pads. Basically - it feels like a home where someone actually lives, not just a guesthouse. Wifi and internet connection is very good, fast and stable. The bedroom is also very nice and spacious, with a flat screen TV (though I didn't use it) and a wardrobe. There is an electrical outlet and a nightstand next to the bed. Mercedes makes sure the guests are comfortable and have everything they need. Excellent contact and she speaks perfect English - you won't have any communication problems. If you need anything, she'll be happy to help. In my opinion this place is more than you can expect. The only drawback is the location. While you can walk to the Sosúa beach in 10 minutes, to get to El Batey, where everything is happening, it is either a longer walk or you have to take a mototaxi.
