• Carl (8/5): Cabin near La Fortuna Waterfall - Half way between town and the waterfall, this comfortable little cabin is surrounded by nature. There are birds everywhere. The host is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 3 days there as we explored the La Fortuna area. Just what it says, a rustic cabin in the woods, not a 5-star resort. For the price it is a good value.

• Teresa (10/5): Sitio encantador y el prpietario muy amable - Nos hemos alojado en esta cabaña y la verdad es que hemos estado súper a gusto. El sitio es muy tranquilo, perfecto para desconectar, y la cabaña tenía todo lo necesario. Pero lo mejor sin duda ha sido el propietario, un encanto de persona. Incluso tuvo el detalle de traernos jugo de pipa para que lo probáramos, todo un gesto que se agradece muchísimo. Sin duda, repetiríamos. Todo muy bien

• June (10/5): Looking forward to many happy returns - It’s just far enough out of town to be very peaceful and the house is very comfortably laid out with delightful outdoor spaces front and back for two people to be together or work separately There’s AC in the main room (we only actually used the fan function) but fans in the bedrooms would be wonderful to circulate the cool night air

• AUPETIT (9/5): - C'est une perle dans un écrin de verdure. Des petits oiseaux et un cheval en compagnie. Même un petit colibri nous a honoré de sa présence. La maison n'est pas d'un luxe tapageur mais décorée avec goût, deux petites terrasses pour se relaxer. La literie est bonne et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour un bon séjour. Le loueur est sympathique et de bon service. De nombreuses activités sont proches comme la catarata de la fortuna et de nombreuses autres activités. Rien

• Heike (8/5): Wow, was für ein schönes Haus! - Also - ein Haus mit dem Grundriss und zwei (!) möblierte Terrassen, Galerie und der Einrichtung: da würde ich auch mein ganzes Leben drin verbringen. Sehr, sehr schön! Offene Küche, mit Wohn-Ess-Bereich, überdachte Terrasse an zwei Seiten des Hauses, umgeben von Grün. Kolibris vor dem Küchenfenster. Küche gut ausgestattet. Man braucht das Auto auch dann, wenn man einkaufen oder essen gehen will. Ich hatte etwas mehr Infrastruktur in direkter Umgebung erwartet. Die Schlafzimmer rochen stark schimmlig. Allerdings regnete es auch ohne Unterlass und sehr stark und das wohl schon seit 2 Wochen. Da ich extrem geruchsempfindlich bin, war es für mich etwas schwierig, auch wenn das Haus per se traumhaft designt ist. Ventilatoren wären da vermutlich sinnvoller als die Klimaanlage.

Les draps, couvertures, serviettes et nos vêtements étaient tout humide. J’ai demandé pour une chaufferette, sans succès. Le gestionnaire m’a toutefois donné une autre couverture, mais ça n’a pas suffit.

• Ellie (9/5): Great La fortuna base - Great location for car drivers. Very comfortable beds. Lovely host. Some ants but not really a problem. No hot water for shower. Otherwise really great.
• Allison (9/5): Easy access to La Fortuna with kitchen and 2 rooms. - Great location! Easy to get keys as the owner runs the art gallery next door. There is a horse on the neighboring property! Don’t leave food out- ants.

La cabaña era muy cómoda. bien equipada y el anfitrión excelente. Definitivamente, fue una muy buena sorpresa encontrar esta opción de hospedaje. N/A

• Camille (10/5): Clean & comfortable in a safe, private & quiet location at a great price. - We really enjoyed our stay at Cabana Laurel. It was clean and comfortable, very spacious with a living room, dining room and a full kitchen that has everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy we had, as well as the front and back furnished covered patios (complete with the friendly horse next door that visited with us through the fence several times during our stay). We especially loved that this house is close enough to town to get there easily and quickly, but is off the main routes, so has less traffic, is in a safe location and is extremely quiet. We will definitely enjoy staying here again and will recommend it to others as well. Would love to have stayed longer, we have no complaints.

• Sheri (10/5): A gen - A very lovely cabana in a great location away from traffic. The yard is well done and the rooms had everything we needed. We loved the wood and art shop and even purchased some wood pieces. The beds were a bit hard for some of the group but fine for others.

• Kellie (8/5): A rustic bungalow is a great location. - Fabulous location. Minutes from La Fortuna Waterfall and downtown. Our host was incredibly attentive and kind. He has an art shop on his property and his art work, especially woodworking pieces are gorgeous! He is also between two wonderful fruit stands which made for a delicious breakfast. The home was a bit dusty and some cobwebs that could be removed.
• Jaclyn (7/5): Cute little casita away from town. - Cute little secluded independent casita. I had my own space. Bed was comfy, appliances worked. The host is a fantastic man. His wood work shop is amazing. There are horses on the property you can see out the back door. It required a car drive to get into town. No restaurants or stores nearby. The main road it is situated on is loud during the day.
