• Gary (2/5): Only in it for money - One day before my family's planned arrival, I received a call from the operator's husband to say there was no hot water and he wanted to give me the opportunity to book an alternative stay. I understood this to mean a refund would be given in this event. It was late to book elsewhere so initially my family agreed to go regardless but as no further communication was forthcoming despite several attempts I booked elsewhere. Despite Consumer protection laws clearly establishing that accommodations must be fit for purpose I did not get a refund. Both owner and hotels.com hid behind a deadline for cancellation (which was not on my side and not possible within the timeframe given this was A DAY BEFORE our booking! - the management should have acknowledged the issue, offered immediate compensation, and taken urgent action to remedy the cause. Regrettably, I cannot recommend The Claverley Hotel to colleagues or other travellers.

• Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Location was quiet, easily accessible to family in Bridgnorth. Host was friendly and helpful. Property was beautifully presented and spacious. Felt current photos don't show it to best advantage.

• Shane (10/5): A real pleasure to stay here, was a great experience. - Jimmy the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Anita the host replied to Amy questions very promptly. Lovely accommodation. The bed is the most comfortable that I have ever slept on.. like sleeping on a cloud. Complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits etc together with a bottle of wine. Nothing.
• Marilyn (8/5): A very pleasant stay, most helpful host name jimmy. - Very modern apartment, but needs attention to stepping into it as I slipped on a loose tile. The shower was too hot and could not be adjusted with the cold, it just would not work. A few kitchen utensils missing, no hand towels only one tea towel.
• Julie (10/5): Fabulous stay and accommodation - Gorgous location and greeted by Jimmy, who was so friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Stunning accommodation with high quality fixtures but very warm and homely at the same time. Would definitely recommend and use again. The only fault we could find was in the beautiful shower room. But it was pointed out on the greeting it was very hot water.
• Morwood (10/5): Really very pleasant - Clean and modern with nice little touches (water, tissues, complimentary local jam) fully furnished, quiet location. Plenty of towels and bedding etc Wifi and netflix. Friendly hosts. Nothing really.
