• Robyn (7/5): Value for money but not thrilled. - Convenient location. No restaurant. The one they recommend is blocks away, so the receptionist said. Ordered via Uber. Hard to find, park while checking in.

• ALISON (9/5): An enjoyable comfortable stay close to all facilities and amenities. - A most enjoyable stay in a central location close to all amenities. The room was large with all the facilities that we required ..especially a microwave and fridge. A very comfy bed ensured a good night's rest and the kitchen facilities were welcomed in the morning where we could cook breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Excellent disabled parking. Nothing..the facilities and location were excellent.

• Grace (10/5): A lovely getaway - I really enjoyed the studio style room. It felt like a little home away from home. There was a washing machine and dishwasher, which would be perfect for a longer stay. The smart TV connected easily to my phone, so I was able to enjoy my evenings by watching a movie. The freezer section of the fridge didn't seem to keep cold. I had to run the extractor fan while I used the toaster as it created a burnt plastic smell. The hotel is only serviced by 1 elevator and the stairs were difficult to find.

As a well travelled person, their assistance with check in and the little things makes it a return location. Limited parking is problematic. However, that is not a function of the service level

• Genelle (10/5): Perfect night away from home - The room was so private and cosy it was perfect for me. The kitchenette was beyond expectations, I loved the fact I could do my washing if I had wanted to. It would have been nice to have had a skin cream on offer and sanitary bags for rubbish. But nothing I didn’t like.
• Donna (9/5): Will stay again. - Very central location for our needs. No Cafe at the complex. On saing that it was an easy walk to the Cafe at the other Abode in Woden.

When approached about this the staff member blamed us for book in a room too small when in the booking we clearly booked for three. The room had a third bed, it was not made. We had to find sheets and towels for the third person.
• Philip (3/5): Too expensive to have a per and car parking ($75) added on top of room tariff. a stressful stay - Clean, modern apartment; friendly reception staff member A rip off cost wise. The most expensive accomm. in our road trip. Geared to consultants to the government staying a night or two at taxpayers expense to work across the road in a government building. Advised AFTER paying a non-refundable fee that the pet fee would be $50 AND a parking fee of $25 also to be applied. Poor advice on how to find the parking spot...also hard to check in with a gate across the parking area and no sign to say how to gain access. Key cards did not work the next morning, and I had to make my own at the unattended front desk by taking a spare card and follow phone instructions from a remote staff member to place the card on a reader to activate an new code. In all the stay created unnecessary stress. I'll look elsewhere next Canberra visit.

Extremely disrespectful behaviour by the receptionist at time of our arrival who was not helpful with our carpark as he liked our second carpark prior booking. He sent us to another local carpark which had a closed gate and when we called and explained the issue he simply hanged up the phone on us. We supposed to have breakfast in and carpark when we booked and we ended up having none.
• Matthew (9/5): Great value for money. Pleasantly surprised. Cheaper than Abode Woden. - Easy check in. Quiet room. AC very quiet. Bathroom excellent. Clean, and great shower. So many additional features, (like kitchenette, dish washer, real milk, coffee satchels, smart TV)! Security access great. Initially made a mistake with my booking date, but appreciated no charge to change. Parking on the street was free on the weekend, (but had to walk 5-10 mins).

• Cameron (1/5): Would like a refund for rooms 210 and 211. - Location was good and the rooms themselves were nice We asked for quiet rooms on booking and on checkin. Rooms 210 and 211 are basically right above the car park entrance and there is a metal grate that cars drive over and it makes a really loud noise and it kept both myself and my friend awake most of the night. On checking out the lady told us they had had many complaints about the same thing but it obviously had not been fixed. We paid $188.00 per room and could not sleep. Very unhappy and would not stay there again because of this. Cant believe they are perfectly aware of this ongoing problem and still charge people when they know you wont get any sleep. Would really like a refund.

• John (10/5): Great value for a great location. - Everything was as good as I expected and staff made last minute adjustments to accommodate my requests without issue. No complaints. The plumbing needs some attention as it made screeching noises when the toilet was flushed throughout the night. I wasn’t too fussed but I’m certain this will be an issue for other people staying.
