- Josh (10/5): -
- Stewart (9/5): Lovely studio in a lovely area - The studio had everything required, was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, close to eating places and the beach. The size of the studio was perfect for two of us and a dog, shame we were only staying for one night.
- JULIE (10/5): - Easy access to apartment. Used this accomodation a few times now. Will defo return. Couldn't fault anything
- Aidan (10/5): - Brilliant wee place - was only up for 1 night to rest my head due to working in the area, fantastic facility. Would use again 100% Maybe blackout blinds for the window but that’s personal preference and made not a single bit of difference.
- mrchrisyeomans (10/5): - Met expectations
- gary (8/5): Our trip to Ayr. - Enjoyed the stay. Facilities very good. Would go back. The fact that I didn't realise how far away it was from Ayr but that was me not the proprietor fault.
- William (9/5): -
- Jan (8/5): Great room for a couple of nights and even better that it is dog friendly.Great location right on the harbour - Ideal little room for a short stay 2 lovely arm chairs but no table to put your coffee on . Would also benefit for a mirror near to a socket to enable hair drying.
- John (8/5): Clean, tidy and comfortable. Great small place to stay. - It was warm, clean and tidy. Towels and linen were a good quality. Great location near to beach park, pub next door and cafe, it's location though meant it was quiet. We had no problem with parking. It was quite small, but well laid out. The tea/coffee area was missing teaspoons.
- Kelly (7/5): Fairly enjoyable. Will book again og part of a couple - Clean and comfortable enough. It’s a lovely location but the entrance is very dark. I was a lone female and it was a daunting entrance and exit only from a safety perspective
- Lorna (8/5): Very good - Location, fridge and microwave were a good bonus and even an iron! The sealant around the shower could be doing with being replaced
- Derek (10/5): - A lovely place for some quiet time away. Great well kept apartment and well worth the price. Also stuated in a wonderful location near dog friendly restaurants and cafe, as well as the beach.

- Sandra (7/5): Served the purpose. - Location and cleanliness and a very comfortable bed. On arrival room was cold, couldn’t quite master the control. I also couldn’t find the password for Wi Fi. l am 82 years old and some things can be a challenge.
- Colin (10/5): -
- Mark (9/5): Clean, comfortable and quiet. - Nice location and good value for the process. Quite at night. Room heated up quickly. All good.

- Joanne (9/5): - The apartment was very comfortable and in an excellent location with very nice cafés, bars and shops within walking distance. Also, very close to the train station and a short walk to the beach. The self check in was very convenient. I would definately book again.

We got there and hadn't been
Cleand rubbish on floor nothing had
Been.done so.we.had go for a walk
Till it was done
We had to get bus and a train
Just walk in to that
We were told we would get a 50 pound
Revond we.are still whating for it
- Eunice (8/5): Great for overnight stay with restaurants and bars nearby and close to trains and shops 10-15 minutes away - Great location with nearby amenities.Bed comfortable En-suite compact but functional.Kettle and tea coffee facilities adequate Duvet too heavy for this time of year.Had to open window as room became stuffy overnight but this is a personal choice
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely, quiet, clean and cosy little place to stay. A couple of high quality brunch cafés and coffee places are just a few minutes walk away. Can't think of anything!
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Michaela (6/5): Pleasant - Right next to the water which was nice The heater wouldn't work so it was quite cold in the night
- Lori (5/5): 2 day break with my dog - Location was great as i travelled with my dog. Bed was comfy. Decor was cute marine theme No utensils. I would of expected a studio apartment to have a better kitchen area. No knife, fork or spoon available other than a tea spoon for my tea. Had to buy plastic cutlery from the shop to eat my meal. Radiator didnt work
- Debbie (10/5): Lovely and comfortable - It was so clean and comfortable Nothing
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - Great, clean and modern space. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely private garden space. Excellent location. Mouldy door blind - odd few dogs hairs but expected as it’s a pet friendly property.
- Fenton (10/5): Exceptional - Where we stayed was great, there was lots of places to eat which were amazing, the views were also fantastic, the pubs even better. This is not a dislike, only an observation, the place could have done with some hooks to hang our jackets, also maybe a set of drawers, and we could use the top to put out our toiletries on, and lastly maybe a mirror in the room as well as the bathroom( for makeup) . As I said only an observation, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back to stay.
- Will (8/5): Very good - Loved having the whole wee studio to myself after a long trip to get here. The booking.com entry code wasn't the correct code. The real code was buried in the email/text from the owner. I missed this and had to disturb the owner late in the evening.
- Julie (7/5): Good - Very comfortable cottage and street parking safe and very close by.
- Angela (8/5): Very good - Very clean and the bed was comfortable. Could have done with some plates and cutlery. Also the outside area was a little tatty.
- Gillespie (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (5/5): Pleasant stay and comfy but some things need upgraded. - Didn't have breakfast but it's a lovely location. Couldn't get wi fi password didn't work.electric heating didn't work too clever. shower was a hit and miss as well.first person got hot shower 2nd got cold shower.
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Fitzsimmons (10/5): Exceptional - it was a nice clean cosy room i will deaffnetly be back
- Douglas (7/5): For the the price, great value - Exceptional clean, great location, room very cold. The intruder alarm next door was going off for about three hours, which kept me awake.
- Sarah (10/5): Spotless , cosy, comfy bed, great location - I’ve stayed here a few times. I absolutely love it! It Has everything you need (except cutlery but we take paper plates & a couple forks because we now know) . It’s a cosy little SPOTLESS dream! Right next to everything you need . The harbour , pubs, restaurants, vanilla joes. Any time Im near I’ll book again. Absolutely love this wee place! So clean & cosy. Has a microwave. Kettle. Coffee, Hair dryer , good shower , lovely soaps etc. fresh . Mind the step!! Haha . Can’t wait to come back. It’s our wee place
- Lynette (7/5): Disappointing - The studio was clean and tidy. It was initially very cold until the heating warmed the room. We had booked this room as it had a microwave and fridge. However the fridge was not cold to store our food. The microwave was a waste as there was nothing to heat food in nor eat with. Must read the literal inclusions when booking next time! Also it would be helpful to leave instructions on how everything works. As foreigners, we had not seen or used a radiator before nor the hot water switches. The security light outside was on all night which flooded the room all night with light.
- Cecille14 (8/5): A nice wee gem in Irvine. - Lovely place, comfy bed and the location was amazing, some brilliant nearby restaurants and cafe and ample parking.. would come and visit again.
- Di (7/5): Overall a good experience apart from lack of sleep due to the very bright light shining directly in. - Location.
We had trouble getting the keys from the lock box and had to contact the host who immediately came to help. The light that shone into the property all night and having no blackout blinds sleep wasn’t easy.
This light should be pointed away from the front of the property.
- Jill (8/5): Very good - Location, and adeal for overnight stay. The step in at front door and dark area for kettle.
- Dawn (9/5): Irvine Harbour Gem! - Great little studio stay on an overnight at Ayrshire. Right on the hatbour, beautiful spot and lots of free parking surrounding the studio.
Highly recommend GRO coffeeshop/restaurant ...amazing breakfasts, cakes and coffee! Be early though as it gets busy!
Liked the fridge and microwave in the room.
Bed super comfy! Nothing
- Rosina (10/5): Although it was only for one night, it was a comfortable night in a comfy bed. Shower was good and there was everything - It was cosy, spotless and well equipped. Ideal for what we needed and our dog was allowed to stay. The WiFi wasn’t great, it dropped in and out.
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Key safe difficult to open
- Laura (9/5): Slept well, had everything we needed, lovely beach nearby and Host was friendly and helpful. - We had everything we needed in the room, could park close by, it's very close to two restaurants and supermarket. It's also a walking distance away from a lovely beach. The Host was very friendly and helpful. There isn't anything.
- Alison (10/5): Relaxing, quiet - Stayed in studio at back of the guest house, on its own, with own bathroom, had kettle, microwave and small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Room was a bit cold to start off with, no heating on, did not take long to warm up though.
- Rachel (8/5): Lovely stay at Irvine - Accessibility Nothing
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful scenery A bit cramped. Shower was poor quality and there was mould in the shower basin. Poor pressure when I wanted the shower to be hot.
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Dale (6/5): Pleasant - On arrival we could not find the place but we had arrived to the satnav postcode , was behide a larger building on main road no indication our let was behind main building think it needs to be clarified somewhere. We had fone for keys are code because we didn't receive any conformation about that before hand . Bed was nice and clean but other parts wall panels and door blind dirty . No plates or cutlery comes odd when you got microwave and fridge. No WiFi or password 😕
- Claire (9/5): Cosy and comfortable - Cosy, comfortable bed, good location near the pier and short 5 minutes drive to a retail park We only stayed the one evening due to our ferry being cancelled over to Troon, so no problems
- Kenneth (8/5): Nice little room - The location was fantastic and the accommodation was small but very nice and had everything we needed... lovely place to stay. Not much to dislike to be honest.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Liz (7/5): Ok for over night - N/A Poor shower, small room
- Peter (5/5): Passable -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Allan (9/5): Nearly 10 out of 10 - Lovely place , a fantastic location, a lovely staff , easy to access , easy check-in and out
Lovely building and great for pet owner
Nearly 10 out of 10 The temperature of the shower wasn't very warm and the pressure was very low
- Lindsey (9/5): Superb - Cosy feeling apartment with everything you needed for a short stay, lovely decor and very comfy bed and bedding. Great spot too with lovely cafe up the road. Cant fault anything, hot water temperature gauges seemed a bit off but just required some turning to figure out what gave you hot water, wasn't a major issue at all
- Liz (7/5): Good -
- Karen (7/5): Good - The studio was clean and cosy and decor was lovely Didn't like that there was no crockery or cutlery or a toaster. We couldn't have breakfast in studio. I feel there should have been an option to do that.
- Julian (8/5): Very good - Good parking. Close to the harbour are as we wanted.
- Yvonne (10/5): Amazing value for money, super clean and comfortable in a great location - Once parking the car it was a very short walk to the key box located within easy sight and reach. Easy code and easy to open/close
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Irene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (7/5): Good - The room was a reasonable size
- Clive (9/5): Very enjoyable and will definitely be back. - Very clean and comfortable with excellent location.
- Hazel (9/5): A cute little apartment in a great location for a good pricez - A cute wee apartment beautifully decorated with everything I needed for an overnight and in a good location.
I was happy with the price I paid and ease of access. Instructions for the heating would have been good.
Also better lighting on the access path to the property would have helped.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Shane (10/5): Lovely clean and comfortable property. Would definitely recommend - Really clean and comfortable Nothing - all good
- Samantha (10/5): Great, would return. - Very modern and clean Nothing. Just to let you know the “ok” button on remote doesn’t work so no access to Netflix etc.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (7/5): Good - The location was nice and private No bin for waste and the chairs had loose legs and table could have been bigger
- Cairns (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kilford (5/5): Described as wheelchair friendly, but really isn't - No breakfast Described wheelchair friendly but there is a step leading up to room as you enter.
Also Described as parking on premises, but there was another car parked right in the middle of the parking space, so unable to park in it which was very inconvenient for a wheelchair user.
Fridge kept waking me up, as it clicked on all night, would have been useful to be able to unplug it.
Black mould in corner of shower tray, so didn't use.
TINY kettle took forever to boil.
- Kirsteen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (8/5): Fine - Location, near to good pub and restaurant, 5 minute walk to Irvine’s lovely beach. Very quiet despite being in central location. Small wardrobe space, needs some coat hooks for hanging damp outdoor clothes.
- David (9/5): Superb - Private and just what we wanted with
parking A step just inside the main door
- Aileen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sadie (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect, ideal space for our short stay. Nice and clean. Could have done with a mirror outside of the bathroom. Just an observation definitely not a moan.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Great location. Well appointed, comfortable room.
- Lara (10/5): Lovely cozy & comfy stay near town & beach , great walks for our wee dog. - Cozy modern close to town & beach .. big tv on wall , tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer. Great for our wee dog too. Liked having own door to the smaller property at back. Good for parking too. Close to local great eateries. Nothing.
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robbie (9/5): Brilliant! - The location was lovely. Walk out the door and see the sea. Lovely…. It was so nice I have booked to come back in November. This is the 3rd time we have used the Marina View and each time gets better. Thank you. A little more space in the Studio would have been nice but we really only slept there so wasn’t an issue.
- William (9/5): Excellent studio apartment -
- Smithy (9/5): Adorable Marina Studio - Clean, comfortable independent studio apartment that felt very homely. Lovely decor without overfilling the room with excess furniture. The guest information booklet is fabulous. We loved the breakfast/coffee suggestion and sat for over an hour chatting with locals and other travellers. We would definitely return for a future stay, highly recommend. We couldn't find the WiFi password, and some instructions on how to use the hot water system would have saved us some time.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Andrena (7/5): Good -
