• Daniel (10/5): Amazing for couple retreats - lovely cabins with a beautiful wood interior and an exceptional panoramic view of the sunshine coast. spa was great, loved the fire place in the middle of the room and the little balcony for sunrise breakfast. breakfast is supplied by needs to be prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, just bring your own spices and oil. great location at the end of the cbd. the access road is very steep and the car parks can be difficult to get in depending on car size.

The room was comfortable, had everything that you needed for a couple of nights away in a lovely location. The breakfast was very generous and excellent value - we called and asked for dietary change and the staff happily obliged and the breakfast was great. A great place to stay I really did not like that the shower had no curtains or screen. It is completely open to the whole cabin and provided no privacy whatsoever while showering. This might be "romantic" for some, but for me it tarnished my experience.

If we were to return again, we would book the superior room for the bigger balcony. The photos and description of each room could have been better. It's hard to know what photos are of the superior room and what photos are of the standard room.

• Sarah (8/5): Beautiful trip for mother/daughter connection and an escape from the world. - The location was beautiful, quiet sleeoy hinterland village. Accomodation was beautiful and serene. It is romantic but also wonderful for mother/daughter bonding and connection. Beds were super comfortable and we loved the fireplace and inclusion of wood and fire starter. Note to everyone, there is no privacy at all and i mean none. The shower and bath is open plan alongside the rest of the place, ok if your with someone who sees you nakey all the time, not so great if not. Breakfast was basic and didnt cater for my vegan daughter. Pans were old and scratched so we didnt want to cook on them.

Was a nice surprise having croissants but would have liked a little more marmalade. Unfortunately I did not use the spa as there were no handles to help me get out and I did not want to slip as I am an older person. Did not appreciate my carpark being used by the person in Lyrebird on my third night. There was no offer by reception to contact the person to remove that vehicle just because I had left enough room for that car to reverse out. It would be nice if in the future it is emphasised that visitors park only in their designated spots for the duration of their stay.

Had everything you could need! We were able to sign in on Netflix on both Tv's. The food provided for breakfast was great, however my wife is celiac and couldn't have the granola or slice. Water pressure could be a little better for taking a shower, also takes a long time to fill the outdoor spa/bath because of the low pressure.

We could only make one night away, but it was enough to reset our souls and give us the luxury we were craving. The breakfast ingredients were delicious and very well considered. The comfortable bath robes were delicious. So close to town but still felt like we were secluded in luxury. That we only had one night there. Next time we will stay for longer
