• paula (10/5): - Spacious apartment. Glorious views of the city, the surrounding hillsides, and Panecillo from the kitchen, dining, and living rooms. Excellent wifi. Loved the line of hooks along the wall of one bedroom - so useful to keep stuff organized and in plain sight. (The other bedroom has a large clothes rack with plenty of hangers.) A balcony gets warming sunshine in the afternoons. There is a variety of bottled wines in the apartment that guests can buy at very reasonable prices. The hosts provided a basket of fresh fruit, along with coffee, tea bags, and other kitchen staples. At the nearest corner are several shops where one can buy fruit, beer, cheese, and fresh-from-the-oven breads,. In the evening, a street vendor grills chicken on wooden skewers: so delicious. The two hosts are readily accessible and communicative via whatsapp. I appreciated the thoughtful provision of a warm poncho in the apartment available for guests' use, in addition to the blanket in the living room and on the bed. The shower was not hot, but it was warm.
• Mathieu (9/5): Une hospitalité exceptionnelle et un point de départ idéal pour explorer Quito - J'ai passé un séjour vraiment superbe à El Monasterio à Quito ! Liliana, la propriétaire, est incroyablement attentive, gentille et accueillante — je me suis vraiment senti presque comme un membre de sa famille pendant mon séjour. Elle s'est souciée de mon confort et de ma sécurité, m'a offert un généreux panier de fruits et s'est montrée flexible pour l'arrivée et le départ. Son attention a dépassé toutes mes attentes. Le logement lui-même est très propre, confortable et très bien aménagé, avec deux chambres, une salle à manger, un salon, une cuisine entièrement équipée et un balcon offrant une vue imprenable sur la ville, notamment El Panecillo et la Virgen de Quito. L'emplacement est superbe, à proximité du centre historique, de San Blas, de la colline d'Itchimbía, du parc La Alameda et du métro, ce qui est parfait pour explorer Quito. Cet endroit n'est peut-être pas un hôtel cinq étoiles, mais je m'y suis rapidement senti comme chez moi. Je suis très reconnaissant à Liliana pour sa chaleur et son hospitalité, et je recommande sans réserve son logement à tous ceux qui visitent Quito ! Je ne trouve pas ce que je pourrais ne pas avoir apprécié. Peut-être la relativement faible isolation thermique et sonore? Mais ça n'est pas du tout gênant, si on est bien équipé (et c'est de toute façon ce qu'il faut pour séjourner à Quito!).

• Janis (10/5): Muy comodo y muy interesante barrio con restaurantes sirviendo deliciousa comida tipica - No breakfast was served but there was a spacious, well equipped kitchen. No criticisms. Everything was great! Ignacio, Liliana and Carlis were fantastic hosts.

• Jean (10/5): Exceptional - Ignacio and his mom where super helpful during our stay, the house was spotless and comfy, we had plebtly of fruit and coffee. On top we were very close to the historic center. Great view of Panecillo from the living room.
