- Timo (8/5): Sunny, friendly, roomy, modern annexe in a gently gorgeous part of Dorset. - A very lovely welcome from Lynn and Andy to a property they've really put together nicely. Lovely big space in their nice garden, self contained and lots of room. Could have spent a week there enjoying the space itself for longer. Cyclists will find it just super for location and space, right in the heart of the gorgeous Purbecks. They guys know that the upstairs low ceiling will be a little impractical for some guests. It's great fun though, so kids will already love it and we basically did. If you're hiking and arriving without a car or bike, Stoborough Green is a bit of a tromp, but nowhere is that far away and by bike it's a breeze.
- Rosemary (9/5): We all had a lovely time . - Lovely garden for the children to play in.
Pleasant and friendly owners.
Good location with plenty to do and see in the area.
Bright and airy and well presented. The spiral stairs were a bit awkward and very narrow and the upstairs bedroom had a low sloping ceiling. Our grandchildren coped well with it but we opted to sleep on the sofa bed downstairs ( which was very comfortable)
- Helen (9/5): - Lovely quiet spot and friendly owners, thank you!
- Lynsey (10/5): - Lovely little cottage, very clean and well kept.
- Andrew (7/5): -
- emilie (9/5): - Excellent accueil

- Alam (9/5): Cute little cottage. For the 2 nights we stayed it was perfect. The host was friendly and approachable. - Convenient and it was nice and clean I am 6ft + so going upstairs with a low roof had to be cautious. Was fine for my family.
- Lex (10/5): We had a fun weekend staying at the Pixie Cottage which allowed us easy access to beautiful Dorset. It catered to our ne - We found the Pixie Cottage very comfortable as a family of 4. It was in a great location for our needs, extremely clean, comfortable and private. The owners were very friendly and just left is to it. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. We were even allowed to use the garden which had a basketball hoop, a tyre swing which kept both our children entertained when we returned from our days out. There is also an outside table and chairs to relax at.
- Bec (9/5): We’re had a fantastic 2 night stay at Pixie Cottage. Andrew and Lynn were lovely and welcoming. They suggested a few pla - It was lovely and cosy
- Lorraine (10/5): Excellent - Great hosts - Really nice property. Lovely bathroom
And choice for where to sleep. Easy access and nice area to sit outside Was a little noisy when it rained but to be expected
- mathieu (9/5): - Logement très fonctionnel et très bien situé
Propriétaires accueillants Il ne faut pas êtres très grand dans les chambres
- Sophie (7/5): Clean little place, not ideal for tall people - It was clean Hard to move around upstairs as ceiling is very low in places. Found it awkward being in the hosts garden and sharing drive etc. I prefer to be separate
- Richard (10/5): Cute and Cosy - perfect little location - As a family of four, we absolutely loved our vacation and stay at Pixie Cottage. It was a great location with exceptional facilities and plenty to do within driving distance. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and cosy. The children absolutely loved the garden with the tyre swing and basketball hoop. Felt like a home from home vacation, and it felt safe to let the children play. It was private and tranquil.
Thank-you to Andrew and Lynn. We'd definitely love to stay again!!

- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (9/5): Perfect stay - Perfectly situated for what we needed. All utensils needed to be able to cook a meal for three. Bathroom clean with clean towels. Hosts are a friendly couple who don't intrude, even if you are staying in their beautiful back garden. On hand to give good advice about the area. And even provide home grown produce! Thank you for a lovely weekend. Slight lack of headroom in the upper room but it suited us fine. But the pull out settee was very easy to assemble/disassemble and very comfy.
- Martyn (9/5): Superb -
- John (7/5): Good value for money but imo the upstairs is very awkward with such a low head height and difficult staircase. - Good location and very friendly hosts. Lovely garden where our grandchildren could play. The upstairs is potentially dangerous for young children. No restricting locks on the windows and the spiral staircase is very steep and narrow. There also ought to be some sort of bedside lighting as reaching the single light switch from the double bed was difficult. The sofa bed downstairs was very comfortable.
- Dawn (9/5): Superb -
- Demelza (9/5): Weekend visit to Pixie Cottage. Everything was as described and met our needs. Comfy clean beds and - Lovely clean accommodation that met our needs during our stay.
- Simon (9/5): Lovely compact accommodation in large garden. - Very well designed small house in owners large back garden, you can park in the owners driveway and access down the side of their bungalow. Very clean and well kitted out, comfortable double sofa bed downstairs. A comfortable double mattress and two comfortable single mattress’s on floor of low ceilinged first floor which is accessed by a spiral staircase that is ok to use if you are fully mobile.
Owners onsite and helpful with any queries.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy, comfortable and clean accommodation. Met all our needs
- David (10/5): Super - Great place, great hosts, great weather.
- Lawrence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Isabella (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, we had a lovely time at Pixie Cottage. The hosts are most lovely and welcoming, everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped. A quiet garden and private parking lot made our stay perfect. It's super close to Old Harry Rocks and Durdle Door.
- Philip (9/5): Lovely owners, quiet, clean and ideal for trips of the surrounding areas. - The location and people were excellent. Lovely little place to stay. Hottest few days of the year which was great. Probably could do with a fan or two, but who’s complaining when you have lovely weather.
- Dinu (9/5): Peaceful and well provided. - Very clean and well maintained property.
All necessary facilities provided .
Quiet area
Tyre swing , basketball net and ball kept children busy.
Netflix, youtube and WiFi provided.
Friendly family available to help. Tall people might find use of stairs and upper bed room difficult due to low roof.
But sofa bed on ground floor provided as alternative.
- Duping (10/5): Would definitely come back again even the host were very welcoming and friendly. - It had everything we needed for the weekend. Very clean and cosy. Host provided clean towel , amenities, extra duvet and pillows. Maybe more mirrors . Only had one mirror which was in the bathroom.
- César (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect
- Monika (9/5): Superb - A shop is wery close, by walking distance is a bigger village/town.
- Abby (9/5): Superb -
- Vizmo (9/5): Superb - We found this to be a lovely little place to stay for a family with 2 children. It was a good location from which to explore the Jurassic Coast. The hosts are friendly and helpful and are on hand if you need anything.
The cottage itself was very clean, spotless, including the bathroom and kitchen. The hosts had provided shampoo and shower gel, and in a toy chest by the children's beds were some games and bubbles, which was thoughtful.
There is a very comfortable sofa bed (sleeps 2) downstairs if you decide you don't want to sleep upstairs (tall and/or larger people may find the space at the top -- the bit around the banister -- a bit tight to get around to reach the mattress).
There is also a foldable table with chairs and a well-stocked kitchen (cups, plates, cutlery etc) should you wish to eat in after a long tiring day out.
The internal stairs going up to the beds are quite steep and requires care to navigate both going up and especially going down, so personally I think this place is suitable for children from about the age of 6 years up.
We went in May when the weather was not great unfortunately, but if you go when the weather is nice, you can also enjoy the outdoor garden area which is well kept. There is a row of hooks for coats but we found that it wasn't enough for a family of 4 for our hoodies and coats (as we went duirng a cold and rainy spell). There wasn't enough space to hang up 4 bath towels either. If the owners could put up more hooks or have standing towel rails so guests have adequate space to hang up their towels and clothes, that would be perfect.
- Jacob (10/5): Awesome with lovely staff - Everything in it was perfect, there was an extra sofa bed as well which added to it (no need to go top and tail). Everything you need is there and the stars in the ceiling were a great touch!! There was no masher for mash potato!
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very clean and tidy, had all that I needed, 20-30 min walk into Wareham, good food at the local pub, 5-10 min walk, had a great stay here.
- Anita (10/5): Great stay, perfect for us - Absolutely loved the stay
So clean and all amazing Nothing
- Akshayhiremath (8/5): A very pretty cottage with a lovely lawn, and welcoming hosts. - The cottage was really cute. The lawn outside with the basketball net was really nice. Our 9 year old son was very happy. The hosts were welcoming. The location was great. A luggage rack and cupboard space would've been great. So storage space was a slight concern.
- Louise (9/5): Lovely cottage and perfect base to explore the Jurassic Coast - Perfect location for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay. Kids loved playing in the garden area. Lynn and husband were lovely and friendly hosts 😃 Difficult for an adult to move around in the loft sleeping space but perfect for the kids. I slept on the sofa bed instead which was very comfy.
- Smith (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely spacious accommodation, very well equipped and comfortable, a credit to the owners. There was nothing we didn't,t like
- Marta (8/5): Very good -
- Rohit (1/5): Bad - They are play the games they say damge the mattress
Is that matters not a plastic they want to make free money not good peoples
- Francesca (9/5): It was a lovely and charming stay that made our family holiday even more unforgettable - The location was excellent, in a lovely spot in the countryside, with lots of green around and it was extremely quiet. We enjoyed staying at the cottage very much and the kids loved it too! Perhaps the mattress was not the most comfortable but we got used to it by the 2nd night.
- Andrew (8/5): Short break in nice location - Lynn and Andrew lovely hosts, spotlessly clean throughout and great location for my needs Access to upstairs sleeping area not so good for price but managed, tall person would struggle
- Jim (4/5): A stay with a difference. - Sadly the wifi didn't connect. It would have been free, I believe, but it wasn't possible to connect. the building was quite new and comprised of 2 floors. the downstairs was quite spacious with a good quality sofa bed, a first class but small bathroom (containing a toilet sink and shower, the disappointment was the second floor which was accessed via a spiral staircase. The ceiling height in this area was 3ft at the most and so for an adult we had to crawl on hands and knees and this was only in the centre 2ft of a 12ft wide area. Kids would love it but not adults. The Pixie cottage was unique and ideal for a couple. The hosts Andrew and Lynn were very welcoming and most helpful. They were disappointed in our feedback and are determined to improve the 'wifi' problem.
We were a party of 3 with 2 people over 75 so not the best place for us.
- Amie (10/5): Exceptional - It's is a beautiful little cottage with everything you could need for a short stay
- Nicky (8/5): A very pleasant stay with lovely hosts - The host, Lynn, was very welcoming and helpful on our arrival. Pixie Cottage is a studio type cabin with a small living room area, sofa bed and dining table and chairs. It has a great kitchenette and lovely shower room. It has a spiral staircase to get to the double and twin beds in the eaves. It is a shared garden and has an outside table and chairs. It is a great base for visiting Wareham, Blue Pool, Tyneham, Arne, Corfe, etc. We walked to Wareham and Blue Pool from the cottage, although walking to Blue Pool is nearly all on the fairly fast main road. We had a great meal at the King's Arms in Stoborough, around a 15 minute walk from the cottage. Both Lynn and her husband are delightful. We had a lovely two night stay. Head room at the top of the spiral staircase is very restricted, so less abled adults are probably best using the sofa bed downstairs; more fun for children, I would imagine. The tv wasn't working, but we had brought along a laptop so managed to watch what we wanted. A few more adult sized cutlery items would be useful.
- Anonymous (10/5): A fantastic welcome and facilities! A lovely quiet garden setting with toys for the children. -
- Hayley (9/5): Fantastic, clean and beautiful cottage in a quiet location, close to the village. - The cottage was super cute. The owners were very welcoming and it was clean. There was some toys in the garden for my son to enjoy. He loved the tyre swing and basketball hoop. My only very very tiny down side was it was kind of tricky getting to the double bed due to upstairs layout and no plug socket upstairs next to double bed but not a major issue.
- Mark (8/5): A lovely property which was well maintained and perfectly located - This property was outstanding and in the perfect location for visits to the Dorset coast line The stairs where tricky to ascend and descend due to tightness
- Mithun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): Great location; lovely cottage and super hosts - Very clean and comfortable - lovely hosts - we were made to feel very welcome during our short stay. Nice extra touches including bathroom accessories and emergency sugar! Thank you again 😊
- Kelly (9/5): Location and accommodation was a perfect match for us! - Wonderful little cottage. Perfectly formed with everything at hand. Fantastic hosts. Great location with so much to do nearby. Fabulous stay. Tv needed an update and we had that sorted in no time. One of those things but certainly not a big concern for us.
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (9/5): Great property in a great location - Excellent, clean, newly finished property close to many attractions and in a lovely quiet location Spiral stairs a bit tricky but there is a sofa bed in the lounge area
- Vijay (8/5): Great location and a lovely host - Lovely location and a great host. Wifi did not work and even the mobile data connection was very weak in the house
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb - Well equipped and very clean property in excellent location for exploring Purbeck and surrounding area.
Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Hope to stay here again.
- Luiza (10/5): Amazing !!! - Everything…super clean and tidy and had everything inside. Area and garden beautiful ! Very quiet and peaceful and relaxing! The only thing that I would work on just the internet connection but I don’t see it as a huge issue because the whole idea is to run from a busy city and relax in the nature.
- Narramor (8/5): Very good -
