Erik (9/5): Hard to get closer to the beach than this! - Great location, private parking, good bed, good kitchen. The coffee bus in front of the apartment in the morning with a great mix of surfers and people getting ready to go to work. Somehow the photos gave us the impression there should have been a communal rooftop terrace, but there isn’t. Balcony is nice though.

E.g. keeping hairdryer close to plunger. Hairdryer filter to be cleaned regularly. Some soft furnishing for deep cleaning. Cups on the shelf had sticky residue around the lips.

Joan (8/5): Comfortable and convenient place to stay for a few days - Great location opposite the beach. We found the unit very clean and comfortable with plenty of kitchen equipment and we appreciated the items left to make us feel welcome. The shower was roomy with good water pressure. The decor is modern and everything was easy to use. The unit is on the second floor of an older style block and the stairs are quite steep - this should be noted in the property description. There were 6 pillows but all of the same kind and we found them far too high and firm. It would be good to have a couple of flatter, thinner ones. Black sheets and un-ironed pillowcases made the bed feel a bit shabby.

Anthony (10/5): Perfect location, very comfortable, well appointed, home away from home! - Location is perfect - right at the beach, and about 100m from Avalon town, with lovely cafes, cute shops, a Woolworths, a bakery, and everything you need. This apartment is steps away from the main bus route to Sydney, and the local bus route up and down the northern beaches. It could not have been better located for us. Peter is a fabulous host - very responsive to any queries. The apartment is a home away from home, with everything you could wish for, and we found it faultless. nothing ...

Amybell (10/5): Come stay here absolutely amazing 🤩 - The apartment was immaculately decorated. It had a way of welcoming you as soon as you walked in the door. Everything you could need was thought of. Beach towels, umbrella, pod coffee and even a treat of popcorn and biscuits 😀 The sound of the waves at night was calming. You are literally a walk across the road to the water one way and to the cafes, restaurants and shops the other. We can't recommend this place enough 😊 Seriously!! Absolute perfection.

Lisa (10/5): What’s not to like!! Great place, location and apartment. - A great location next to the beach and Lido, nice stroll to the local shops and restaurants nearby. Avalon is a great place to stay, so much better than we were expecting. Lovely quiet beaches on the other side. Friendly place with great coffee shops, Gelato, restaurants and clothing shops The apartment was lovely spacious, bright and clean, everything we needed. Pete was a great host, gave us a slightly later checkout as we were moving to another apartment. There is a speaker to connect too, to play music, I have exactly the same one, we were perplexed when I could not link up to my speaker one day, only l8er to find, we were trying to link up to the apartment speaker!!! lol that’s when we realised there were 2! We spent a total of 8 nights in Avalon, there is so much to do, could have stayed longer. Car is needed. Nothing

It was very homely and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed having breakfast on the verandah and also the very thoughtful and special touches eg chocolates, games... Fans and aircon were appreciated Nothing.... Cleaner wasn't quite ready for us, but was very apologetic and the place was spotless

Tastefully decorated. Onsite carpark is only suitable for a very small vehicle. Apartment is on the second floor and access is via approx 30 steps (there is no lift).

Peter was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you have a big car just note that the parking space is tight, but there is plenty of street parking.

A great place from which to explore Sydneys - The property is comfortable and made homely by the inclusion of paintings and decorative features. The location is located on a headland with stunning views over the beach yet a short walk to the town which has several restaurants. The host Peter couldn’t be more helpful. Nothing worth mentioning

Fiona (8/5): Lovely unit but too many stairs for me to access and to carry luggage up and down. - central, nicely furnished and clean. nice touches chocolate and crisps. i wish they explained how many stairs , from their car space there were 4 sets of stairs to climb. I have a knee issue so ok to do a couple of stairs or 1 flight but not four flights of stairs. I ended up avoiding going out due to the difficulty. I'm also struggled to drag my suitcase up this number of stairs.

Had to park car on street car park are for tiny cars not big 4x4 wasn't happy with that. No aircon there was a air cooler. And to many stairs. No reception or host on site?
