• Mariann (5/5): sh....t - I like the ocean views and the big balcony and close to woolworths. Where should I start. Booking.com misleading information about the room was not accurate the photos on the website didn't match. When I got to the apartment the furniture was outdated no plugs for your devices. The windows was dirty outside I felt like I was back at the 70, 80 is and the next door neighbour was rude and putting her head over the balcony invading our privacy and complaining because we're talking a bit louder than usual, but was only 19.30pm, so wasn't that late. She was also smoking outside her balcony she reckon she had kids there with her, I never heard her kids, must of been teenagers. I also felt like I was in the nursing home, too many old people around. Some of those apartments rented out for long-term lease and some others for holidays. According to booking.com I suppose to get the top floor, but we didn't get it we got an apartment one beloved. I talked to the manager about it, but no use, she said those 2 levels are top floors. What a bullshit. I won't recommend this Holiday Apartments is way too many rules, you can't make any noise between 22.00pm-8.00am in the morning, you need to sign agreement with them. Not happy. :)

• Nakita (5/5): Should've stayed 1 night - Good location. We were able to walk to most places to get dinner or groceries. Even though it was close to the main road, there was little road noise. Had a small view of the ocean, but it was a good view in general. For the most part it was clean. All furniture was very old and worn, making it a very uncomfortable stay. I wouldn't have minded if we were only staying 1 night, but it definitely didn't suit any longer than that. You could see the worn curves in the mattress that was so hard and springy. The lounge material was split and pinched the skin, but I slept on it, which was more comfortable than the bed. You couldn't sit comfortably on it, though, as the arm rests were sunken so you couldn't rest your arm comfortably. Walls taped together, the dining chairs were worn, making it feel like you would fall through the seat. And the single chair felts as if it was about to fall apart, so we didn't touch it after the first sitting.

• Peter (7/5): It was OK for a couple of nights, location good and the view was nice out to the ocean. - location was great and apartment was very spacious the bed was uncomfortable, the mattress was well and truly past its best, a big hump in the middle with hollows either side, it didn't feel like there was a mattress topper either so not sure what was going on there. The dining chairs were worn out and had no springs and the lounge suite and joinery was also very tired and in need of replacement.

• Carole (7/5): We enjoyed our 2 night stay, but would probably not return - Location As It was a Saturday and they close at 1530, plus we didn’t know our eta, they sent info/directions how to get to and into the apartment It was a bit of a”rabbit run” to get to our apartment and we were not on the top floor. If we had kids or lots of luggage it would not have been ideal to lug it up stairs and along small concrete paths The bedroom floor was very dusty with lots of fluff, when we closed our case the outside had collected the floor fluff, you could also see under the bed that it hadn’t been cleaned in some time (the bed was on wheels and it had moved, we didn’t deliberately inspect under the bed!) Perhaps the property could look into a wall based shampoo/conditioner/shower gel dispenser that every motel/hotel/even bnb’s offer, instead of the smallest ever shampoo container.

• Natasha (8/5): Great short break in Narooma. - The location is close to shops and beach. Instructions to find the apartment were excellent. Facilities were good within the apartment, TV, kitchen, etc. Sliding doors to patio were difficult to open for a shorter person ( bolt on the top), and there were no fly screens. Also, thought we were getting a room with a view of the sea, but had a garden view.

Need a second hook for towel hanging. Very small soap holder with no room for shampoo / conditioner, etc.

• Karen (8/5): Good location close to what we needed. - I didn’t like the need to fill out what seemed a useless pre-arrival information questionnaire. I am guessing the only point was to obtain a signature to charge $25 if we didn’t put out our rubbish. I have never experienced that before and think it is extreme to charge, surely a request would have been sufficient. Given that request leaving more garbage bags to use would also have been appropriate.

Pillows and bedding were also probably due for a replacement. The bathroom had no ventilation and was very muggy which was not ideal to use. Some mould in the grout. Otherwise clean.

• Ella (10/5): - We had the most amazing stay at Horizons. A massive thankyou to Narelle and her partner who accommodated for us after an unexpected turn of events. They were so kind and generous, switching rooms to ensure that my safety was paramount due to restrictions of moving, kept in contact and went above and beyond. The room was amazing with views of the ocean and golf course. Couldn’t recommend enough. NOTHING!

Definitely recommended. - This is a well-organised building of apartments with cooking facilities in the room and a central laundry and a pool on premises. The room was very spacious and clean, including a full kitchen, separate loungeroom and bedroom (each with a TV) and a decent sized bathroom with a shower. The bed was comfortable and there was a power point within reach to charge your phone. The apartments are quite close to a bunch of supermarkets and also the main strip of pubs and restaurants. I couldn't work out how to open the sliding doors to the outdoor area without standing on a chair to open a lock at the top of the door, which I didn't want to do for clumsiness reasons. It was raining pretty hard so I didn't want to sit there that badly anyway!

Lots of outside staircases and front apartments are not close to car garages or swimming pool/bbq area.We preferred to park our car on the road,as much closer for access.

The fridge was missing at least one shelf and a door shelf. The kitchen was missing pretty basic utensils: no chopping boards, no oven, baking trays, no real salad or other food dishes, no food storage containers, no filter coffee plungers etc. It could also do with a coat of paint Smoking is allowed, on the balcony.

Narelle, our hostess was super friendly and helpful, she not only provided us with a comprehensive welcome pack detailing Narooma’s restaurants cafes,beaches and sights she checked in with us daily via text ensuring we had everything we needed. Excellent customer service. Although the pool was refreshing and clean, the poolside looked a bit tired.
