• Wilfried (9/5): - Sehr ruhig, schöne Umgebung und der Ort ist zu Fuss leicht erreichbar Mir fehlten ein bisschen Gebrauchsanleitungen, wie z.b. die Mikrowelle und das WiFi (wir könnten es nicht nutzen)

• Martin (10/5): Relaxing few days away from the world. - The property was wonderful. It is warm, welcoming and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for more. My only quibble comes from locating exactly which cabin it was on the property. My wife and I arrived when it was dark and could barely make out the well signposted cabin names. Adding the number of the cabin as well as the name would've made things easier.

• Hans (7/5): Kon ermee door - De lodge bevindt zich op een rustig gelegen vakantiepark net buiten Dunning, Perth. De inrichting van de lodge (grote stacaravan) was praktisch en voldeed aan onze behoefte. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers, dat was wel handig. Er was geen wifi, omdat de vorige gasten de volledige maand bundel van de internet dongel hadden opgebruikt. Contact met de beheerder bleek lastig omdat hij zelf ook met vakantie was. Het wifi probleem was niet op tijd opgelost, wij verbleven er 3 nachten. Dekking van het open telecom netwerk was niet optimaal. De plastic draaiknoppen van het gasfornuis zijn dol, dus die moet je eraf halen om te kunnen koken.
• GEORGE (8/5): peaceful and relaxing - Quiet and relaxing site, spacious living area on-suite both rooms. Poor phone signal in cabin and throughout site. Good WIFI for laptop but no TV signal for Netflix, internet. Freeview TV available.

• Kevin (7/5): - Once we got over the fact that we were in an upmarket trailer park we found the trailer to be comfortable with a very comfortable bed and the use of a washing machine, so helpful. It was not what we were expecting, oversold, under delivered. The location was in an internet black hole, not the fault of the property however, Dunning in general seems to have missed out on wireless internet and unfortunately the wireless supplied also was a dead loss. The owner later explained he was having supplier problems, so his problem became ours. It did not help that there were virtually no instructions provided on how things, like the heating/cooling worked and we had no way of finding out via internet. Space in the bedroom area was tight and being of a trailer type construction be aware that sizes of doors, passages and showers are small.

The lodge was in a beautiful and quiet location but only a 10 minute walk to the village with pub & shop. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we wanted somewhere in the same area.

• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful lodge, beautiful location - Excellent clean space, all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend with friends! Great communication from the host. The local area is lovely and we enjoyed exploring! Had issues with wifi and the oven lighting but could have been user error

The lodge was very good and did have everything you needed, the patio was lovely to spend the evening having a wee dram. Unfortunately the oven didn't work and the ensuite bathroom smelled heavily of mould. Would be better with blackout blinds.

• Janice (5/5): It was okay. - Beds were comfortable Sofa wasn’t very comfortable and lots of stains on the living room carpet, hairs in sinks and toaster in oven full of crumbs, certainly shouldn’t be rated as luxury.

• Keith (7/5): A lovely site near Dunning, which has a good Inn for meals, comfortable and with everything to hand. - Excellent location on quiet site with tree shade and more than expected privacy. Comfy bed and very comfy settee. Luckily previous renters had left the lodge clean except for oven as the property had not been cleaned and the linen replaced. However, after a phone call, this was remedied quite quickly.

• Lauren (9/5): A very relaxing stay in a peaceful setting - Very quiet location within a short distance to the M9. Very close to Perth. Lodge was a great size for a family of three and having two bathrooms was a bonus. We visited in February and would be a lovely place to visit in the summer. Excellent to have a full size fridge and freezer to take our own meals. The gas cooker took a bit of getting used to. Only because we're used to electric. Everything else was fantastic.

• Shannia (9/5): beautiful getaway to relax from the city life. - we absolutely loved the entire lodge! the decorations were beautiful and we especially loved the fire place. the books and movies available were really nice as well. the wifi wasn’t working very well most of the time we were there so had to use a lot of our 4G.

• Brian (8/5): Lovely accommodation and location. - one of the best equipped we’ve stayed in. Ideal location for our needs. Lovely clean and airy cabin. We didn’t receive a key code before arrival, despite a text to the owner. Fortunately the site manager was around and could let us in, as it was dark when we arrived. The cabin was very comfortable. There were three shortcomings that didn’t spoil our stay at all, but they could have done. The gas fire in the living area didn’t work (I replaced the battery in the remote control unit, but that didn’t help). The hairdryer’s switch is broken (just as well my wife had taken her own). The mixer tap in the bath/shower has a steady leak into the bath. Not a problem to us, but a waste of a lot of water. If it hadn’t been for the above issues, we would have rated our stay as “Excellent”. We’d be happy to re-book in future if we could bring our dog.
• Angela (10/5): Wonderful stay at Shanthi Lodge - The lodge is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is there. Salt and pepper, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, tea towels etc. The lodge is warm and cosy and although it was October we didn't need to put on the heating. Inside there are cushions, candles and tasteful ornaments, the stag by the fireplace was my favourite.The park is lovely and has it's own lake and everyone is very friendly. The local village is worth visiting and the meal we had in the village pub was delicious. I would definitely stay in the lodge again, I have to give it 10 out of 10. Not a thing.

It was clean and well equiped . it shows the hosts take great care of shanthi to ensure their guests stay is as comfortable as possible. They were just a call away if needed and responded straight away. I would highly recommend this my rating on shanthi lodge and its host would be 10 star .Thankyou for the 2 weeks of being able to just relax and enjoy the my much needed break . Nothing
