Guest Reviews
- Jan (4/5): Convenient location for our needs but won't return to this particular chalet. - The location was good for why we were in the area.
The grounds of the site are well maintained.
The kitchen was well equipped.
The toaster went bang on first use, we reported this and it was replaced straight away. We could not recall having to pay for the electricity mentioned in the advertising.
The chalet was very old fashioned and needs modernising and redecorating.
We could not regulate the heating, we had a couple of hot days and some very cold days and could not get the chalet warm on these days as the heater weren't particularly efficient.
The bathroom was outdated with a bath and shower head.
The double bed was uncomfortable with either a rock hard pillow or a very flat pillow.

- Nancy (10/5): - clean, cheap and very happy with it. we only needed a base to sleep as so much to do locally with the beach and walks. nothing to dislike
- Steve (1/5): Don’t touch this place with a barge pole - There was nothing to like about the property. Didn’t like the blood on the bed sheet when we arrived. Didn’t like the dust, cobwebs or dog hair. Didn’t like the awful warm-rot like smell. The fousty smell seemed to make it hard to breathe. Don’t like the attitude of the owner who Booking dot com have been trying to contact for more than a month now to get our money refunded.
- George (9/5): - Loved the aesthetic of the whole chalet and the location was perfect for the family and dogs Not having water for our last night . not a fault of the chalet park at all .the stay was amazing
- Pamela (5/5): Chalet in Seaton - Location was good. The chalet was clean. It was inexpensive The chalet is not suitable for elderly or disabled people. The freestanding bath was very high and very difficult to get out of.The double bed is very low with a cheap, very uncomfortable mattress. It was hard to sleep on it. The steps out of the front door need a strip of white paint to avoid falls. My husband tripped down on one occasion. The television controller doesn't work properly. The blinds are out of reach unless you are quite tall. I couldn't reach them. We never saw anyone. The cutlery was very old, and it was not that nice to use.
- Sarah (9/5): Fabulous, cute little place, lots of nice touches. Great location. - Loved the location, the decor and the feel of the place. Would definately stay again. Nothing not to like, everything catered for and enjoyed my stay, thank you
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (6/5): Pleasant stay for a few nights, good location to access Seaton, Lyme, Beer, Sidmouth etc. property could do with updatin - Close to the coast and local amenities.
Price was good Little bit outdated
could do with a deep clean.
Putting a pound coins in the meter!!
Poor pressure with the shower.
- Amy (10/5): Perfect little chalet, was simple, clean and had everything we needed. - We loved the 1970's style decor. My son said his bed was super comfy and we enjoyed some of the games together.
Perfect location to visit lyme regis and sidmouth both only around 15 minutes away. Seaton beach was just a 5 minute drive.
Chalet park is situated next to an esso garage for fuel and food. Also an Aldi in seaton itself.
- June (8/5): Good value for money and close to all places of interest ..will use again - chalet was in an ideal location ..close to various places of interest and a shop close by for everything you would need ..ideal for our short stay The only thing we could fault was the TV which had very few channels and reception not very good ..didnt spoil our stay as we were out most of the time
- Laming (9/5): Great base. - Ideal for a short break, good location/parking, comfortable, everything you would need. Nothing that I would complain about.
- Stephen (4/5): Disappointing, shabby accomodation, not to be recommended. - In fairness the property was well equipped with cooker, washing machine, fridge etc. The main bed was not comfortable and the accomodation was basically shabby. The table and bench on the front patio looked like it had been sourced from a junk yard. In the morning the chalet was very cold and although heaters were provided, it would have taken maybe two hours to make the place warm. At first we could not get the washing machine to work so I phoned the contact number for assistance. I didn't receive any call back which I thought, considering there was no one on the site to ask for help, very poor. In the meantime we found that the water supply to the machine was turned off so problem easily solved but no response to the phone call was bad. In the bathroom the bath was downright dangerous. Very deep and only a hand held shower head so no real chance of a proper shower. Why wasn't a normal shower unit installed as opposed to an archaic bath which was a problem to get in and out of.
- Darren (4/5): Will not be returning - Not dog friendly and staff rude
Windows dirty could not see out
- Izabela (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Mollyindy (10/5): A relaxing cheerful retreat. - I was very grateful that the property was priced for a single occupancy. It was lovely to be able to afford my own place. Also, I was very grateful that there was non a minimum stay. Loved the decor. Eco-friendly as provided recycling facilities.
- Deneka (2/5): Very disappointed - Location, this place have a huge potential. It was quiet and close to the shop. Lots of dust, humidity and smell was awful, we had to pay for electricity without any notice before our check-in. The facilities included heating but all radiators are electric. Not fair
- David (8/5): Very good - Well equipped chalet Nothing
- Anthony (8/5): A peaceful hideaway, for those who want quiet. - Peaceful but close enough to main coastal area. 5 minute drive. Garage for fuel & convenience store for those essentials right next door. Exits onto main road limited view.
- Jw (7/5): Relaxing location - It was a good base for visiting the local area, close to Seaton, which was lovely. It was quiet and relaxing. Not pre-warned about electricity meter cost.
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Dafydd (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy with plenty of kitchenware supplied , owner very easy to talk to and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again
- Karen (7/5): Good - The quietness of the site. Plenty of room. Everything there. Would stay again. Wasn't clean for our arrival and had to wait til 6pm for it to be cleaned. Wasn't cleaners fault. Bit of mix up. But OK when we finally able to settle.
- Samuel (10/5): Delightful for visiting the south coast - Perfect for getting in and out of Seaton, well priced, good parking and a nice, quiet site.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional - Great and spacious, nice retro vibe Nothing
- Carina (10/5): Carina and Sam - Fantastic chalet.. loved the retro decor and it was equipped with everything we needed .. and the host was fantastic. We left a coat and he dropped it to us teh next day going out of his way.. we were so grateful and will be returning for sure Nothing it was perfect
