• Anastasia (10/5): Very cozy and peaceful place in the heart of Ubud with a great atmosphere and wonderful staff. - The biggest advantage is the location. The guesthouse is right in the center of Ubud, and everything is within walking distance: shops, restaurants and cafés. At the same time it is located away from the main road, so it’s very quiet and peaceful. The territory is small but very beautiful and full of greenery. The room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. There is also a water dispenser, kettle and hair dryer. The staff are very kind, friendly and always ready to help. You can even order a massage to your room. There are also a few cute dogs on the property which makes the place feel very cozy. The only thing I personally missed was a refrigerator and no place for cooking, which would make the stay more comfortable. Also there is no parking directly at the property, so you need to walk a little to reach it.

• Eleonora (10/5): To sum up i recommend staying in Tama for long or short stay. - I liked the interior and the owner and the staff were really friendly. The internet was perfect and the water really hot. I liked that there is refilled water which is really convinient. Also, the location is very central and depending on your preference for restaurants there are plenty as well as supermarket closeby. Nothing just there were ants sometimes which i think for Ubud is everywhere.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything we needed. The homestay itself had a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and felt like a real home rather than tourist accommodation. The location was convenient for getting around and exploring the area, while still being quiet at night. Overall, Tama Homestay offers great value and a warm, personal experience, and we would happily stay again No fridge or tv in the room which actually worked out quite well as I we got to talk more about our wonderful time in Ubud

• Elisa (5/5): - La ubicación esta muy cerca de todo. Pudimos dejar el equipaje allí un par de horas despues del check out, aunque creo que es un servicio que te da cualquier hotel. La cama era extremadamente dura, muy incomoda. Las fundas de almohadas estaban manchadas y tuve que poner camisetas encima. Mandamos a lavar ropa y me devolvieron mis pareos llenos de manchas marrones (las mismas manchas que tenian las sábanas). El dia de hacer el check-out nos limpiaron la hab antes de abandonar el homestay, cuando llegamos (dentro de la hora limite para hacer el check-out) la unica opción que nos dieron para darnos una ducha fue en la habitación sucia que acaban de dejar los otros huéspedes. Me pareció poco profesional y muy incomodo pasar por esa situación, como veniamos de hacer una excursión, no nos quedó otra que ducharnos en la habitación sucia de otros huespedes. Me pareció subrealista. No volveré.

• Lyndsey (10/5): Excellent homestay affordable and cosy nook in ubud - The location was perfect! It was just at the back of one of the busiest streets around Ubud, so alot quieter than staying on the street. It was an easy walk to shops and cafes. The host was so lovely and welcoming & I felt very comfortable & safe. The room was just perfect for me as a soul traveller for the night before my retreat. I would certainly consider staying here again and or recommending this place for friends It was difficult to find at first, but then you realise there is no car access. It has a narrow alley way and is then only bike access. But it's not that I didn't like it, just difficult to locate. The bed was alittle hard for me, but I had a good sleep regardless

• Omar (10/5): - Is a really comfy place, located in a small street next to a main one, so there is zero noisy. The room could have a small fridge to keep some drinks cold because is pretty hot all the time. There some ants that walk under the door and sometimes got in the bed, but is not a big deal at all.
• Xena Mae (10/5): LOVELY & PEACEFUL HOMESTAY IN UBUD CENTER - We love it! If we are going back to Ubud, will definitely book here again. It’s home away from home. Located in Ubud center and near restaurants and warungs. Very peaceful and homey. The owner is very accommodating and responsive in Whatsapp. Their family dog is also very cute and friendly. She will guide you to your room :) They also offer laundry which is a total plus! 20/10 is the rating :) Nothing! Though if you want to take a shower without your hair getting wet, better prepare a shower cap. The shower head is fixed but they have hot and cold water :)

• Gino (8/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo - La camera era esattamente come nelle foto! Molto curata e pulita, si vede che c’è attenzione ai particolari! È all’interno del cortile di una casa tipica del posto, un buon modo per avvicinarsi alla vita reale. Bello iniziare la giornata vedendo i gradini che portano in strada adornati con bellissimi fiori posizionati con cura e con le offerte quotidiane… In 10-15 minuti a piedi si raggiunge la via che di sera chiude alle macchine e rende più piacevole passeggiare….. perché il traffico a Ubud è veramente terribile! Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest raggiungibili a piedi. Nelle vicinanze ci sono diversi ristoranti e posti per fare colazione (anche con ottimi croissant). Servizio lavanderia a costi contenutissimi. Gradita la presenza di asciugacapelli (anche se da viaggio, comunque utile!!). Decisamente un buon rapporto qualità- prezzo. Segnalo che si trova in un vicolo laterale, se fate fatica ad individuare l’esatta posizione potete fare riferimento al negozio “Astiti” che si trova all’angolo della via. La pulizia della camera viene fatta su richiesta ogni giorno però in 8 notti non sono mai stati cambiati gli unici due asciugamani dati in dotazione, neanche il settimo giorno, dopo che, avendolo richiesto, ci era stato detto che sarebbero stati cambiati….forse una dimenticanza…. Sarebbe utile avere nella stanza un piccolo frigorifero….visto il bel giardino con tavolino sarebbe piacevole conservare un po’ di frutta per fare colazione direttamente sul posto.

The staff was real nice, the room was clean and the bed enough comfy. Are ants around the door, and sometimes got inside of the room, it wasn't a big problem, but could be annoy sometimes.

• Michael (9/5): Absolutely the best yet & certainly for the price I paid, check out the rates yourself. - I have stayed at quite a few home stays on my trip, whilst the others were good this was the best by far!! Basic but great room including fabulous bathroom. Beautiful residential property with all of the cultural charm. Simple registration, no fuss, contact by WhatsApp made easy, host was more than accommodating. Very close to the centre of Ubud (walking distance) great place, highly recommended & only two rooms so book quickly! Excellent value for the price I paid, check it out guys. Whilst there was no tv, and no facilities to make any coffee or tea this to me was not a deal breaker, although I don’t think it would break the bank for the host to provide this facility moving forward and a slight increase on the nightly rate would not be missed. Don’t let these two items stop you from booking guys, great place to stay. 🙏

Cute furniture The bed was little bit hard. The room maybe to tiny to stay longtime (I stayed 1 week almost) There is not a lot of place to put the staff on. Especially in the bathroom. The sink evacuate water very slowly. But its only a little points nothing really important. My stay was awesome 👌

The people who run the facility were incredibly helpful and kind. The architecture of the facility, the atmospheric street and the very nice dog Roxy are a huge plus. I stayed quite long (12 nights) and loved everything about Tama Homestay.

• David (9/5): excellent value at a traditional Balinese spot. - This is an absolute gem of a spot to stay if you're in Ubud. Conveniently located on a quiet street off from one of Ubud's main streets. It is a short walk to cafes, restaurants, massages and shops. The rooms are basic but have a lovely simple design - it looks as it does in the images. Best of all is the sweet as pie dog Roxy who is always ready for strokes and requires lots of attention. There are only two rooms at this homestay which makes it even more special.

• Lilyrose (6/5): Good Location But Not Ideal - The location was great, off a central street in Ubud The room felt a bit cramped and the lighting was quite dim, we had to keep the bathroom light on if we wanted the room to feel properly lit. The communication with the hosts was a bit odd, we were asked if we 'needed' the room to be cleaned rather than cleaning each day which we would expect and on one of the days it wasn't cleaned at all. We completely understand that small offerings are left around the grounds, particularly during Ramadan which is lovely to see but one day a lone biscuit was placed on the floor almost directly outside our door (and not near any other doors) which attracted so many ants that we were worried they would come into our room. Also we have not yet experienced a room where there is no kettle or any tea and coffee making facilities which adds a homely touch so this was disappointing especially as the breakfast is much more expensive than other places at 100k per person.

Aircon was amazing. Blackout curtains that allow you to sleep in. Hangers for clothes. There’s a cute patio with chairs and the photos are quite accurate :) Nothing.

The location is great, within easy walking distance to the Monkey Forest and the Palace, and a variety of restaurants and shops. And it's on a side street cul-de-sac, beautifully quiet!

• Yuhan (9/5): Superb - The home stay is close to a lot of restaurants and spas. The environment is clean and comfortable. I felt like when and stayed for a week. The owner she is very friendly and attend to details. She prepared umbrella when the weather forecast said it is going to rain. She also checks with me the best time to clean my room which is very thoughtful. If you are arriving with a car, you can set the destination as Nature Dreams Ubud, as the home stay is in an alley that cars could not enter. One small thing can be improved is the small flies in the bathroom. But I understand it is difficult to get rid of them completely given the weather in Bali. Overall, I am happy with my stay.
• Catherina (10/5): Comfortable, convenient, clean homestay with a kind and helpful family! - This homestay was in a traditional Balinese family compound, with a family that was welcoming and eager to help. They accommodated my late arrival with a smile! The room was spotless and regularly cleaned. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and welcome into their compound. The location in Central Ubud was perfect, off Hanuman in a quiet lane. I would definitely stay here again. The only improvement, and this is just me, is that it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea or hot water late at night/early in the morning. That said, there were plenty of restaurants/cafes nearby to get a nice cup of coffee or breakfast.
