Perfect place, near everything & we will be returning 🤍 Property could have more hangers and that’s the only thing I can say.
• Thelma (10/5): Peace. - The location is perfect, close to the center, restaurants, shops, and market. A short distance from the beach, less than a 5-minute walk. The accommodation is excellent, clean, and has cooking utensils if you want. I definitely recommend it. On the first day, the hot water didn't work.

• leonie (10/5): - Such a gorgeous cabin that felt like it was in the middle of the jungle but had the benefit of being so close to the town - everything was at your doorstep.
• Sally (10/5): - The Cottage was lovely. Right on the beach and so handy to everything.
• Beatrice (4/5): Spacious but noisy - The location by the beach is cool and it is a very spacious cottage. It is right opposite a tradies camp and huge street development works. During the weekdays the noise is horrendous. And during the weekend it has been a constant life singing noise coming from the coffees around the place day and night! So if you are like us searching for a calm holiday this is not the place.

• Janet (8/5): - Excellent location very close to beach and restaurants/cafes. Very clean, large, high set cottage with lots of windows with separate bedroom to large living area. Unfortunately, with the beautification of Mission Beach town centre, the works depot is opposite the property. Noisy early morning workers, vehicles, and machinery were annoying, but with the bedroom doors closed and on the beach side of the property, it was only slightly disruptive. Hopefully, they complete works asap because it is a beautiful location.

• Shelley (9/5): Lovely place with direct access to the beach. There are 3 accommodation units on the property. - The style of the building and the decor was very tropical. We had trouble with the cooktop that couldn't be resolved as it was a Sunday

• Daniela (9/5): Superb - Location is great. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for 3 days. We had accommodation upstairs without a veranda, we were missing some outdoor seating (for example in the garden) not in a garage environment.

I would absolutely stay again. - The location and setting was just brilliant for me as a single traveller that wanted easy access to restaurants and the beach. Didn't like the mangoes dropping on the tin roof giving me a heart attack each time as a Veteran with PTSD.
• Jo (8/5): A pleasant stay overall - Great location, just a few steps from the beach and local bars/restaurants for a little entertainment. The pool is small but a great option if the sun is high and there is not a lot of shade at the beach. The apartment is on the road and set back but a good size and it was comfortable for our stay. The addition of some coffee for the plunger and ice in the freezer made it a homely space I would very happily book again in future. Knowing that there were extensive road works happening at Mission Beach would've been preferable as we might have been able to defer our visit to another time. The apartment is set back from the beach on the road and is directly opposite the works yard—so the noise was problematic as a result, even on Sunday. Whilst roadworks are beyond the owner's control, being informed would've been preferable and is common elsewhere in bookings I have made so it was a bit of a surprise when we arrived and I was disappointed as a result. This is because I had planned something special and the noise so early in the morning and throughout the day was not great. It may not have bothered other people and tbh I may have missed this notification in the booking but it was not clear if it was made known. That said, this work will stop eventually and I would stay again in future and really liked the location and the apartment. Though we did our best to laugh about it and make the best of our stay, the reality is it put a dampener on what I had hoped would be a very special long weekend for my partner who is a full-time carer and very rarely gets any time off at weekends to go anywhere special. Please note that if you are someone who gets up early for the beach or other activities then this should not deter you as it is a wonderful location and a simple but comfortable apartment.

• Philip (10/5): We loved our stay in this comfortable house in a very convenient location. - A lovely private one bedroom, one bathroom villa with a spacious living/ kitchen area. Location was amazing, with the beach only a few metres from the back of the property, and cafes, restaurants and shops only a one or two minute walk from the front of the property.

It was close to cafes, restaurants, the restaurant Plenty was a few meters away on the beachfront and served delicious food, definitely worth a visit. We had the pool to ourselves. We walked the beach every day. Woolworths supermarket was a few minutes drive , there were a number of clothing shops nearby too. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer.

• Craig (8/5): With a little attention to detail this could be a superb property….it was still good but with a longer self catering sta - Superb location No storage option in bathroom…no food storage other than fridge….lack of matching glassware…old mismatched cutlery…beaded floor mate that was painful to stand on….no wifi
• Vanessa (10/5): Was fabulous 🥰 - Location is fantastic. There’s a fabulous breakfast restaurant just across the road, food is excellent. The cabin itself is nicely styled, very clean and has plenty of kitchen cookware etc. perfectly set up in my eye. I loved that I could make a cup of coffee and be on the gorgeous beach watching the sunrise in under a minute. I loved the area and the walk from the cabin to the jetty is just incredible. The caretaker was so friendly and welcoming and also very apologetic when she was doing her work thinking she was disturbing me. She wasn’t and she’s an excellent employee. All round, Katie was an excellent host. That there was no wifi. But then again I knew that when I booked.
