Guest Reviews
- Lois (9/5): - The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were excellent. I found the hotel was quiet & located near many restaurants and stores. Good value. This is an older hotel that could use a little updating. The carpets are older but clean. The bathtub could use new chalking. Other than the age of the hotel, it was excellent.
- Jamie (5/5): Wish i did more research on the property before booking - It was the same location as my meeting The room smelled bad and had vagrants bothering guests
- patterson (10/5): - The staff at this hotel were wonderful. Everyone was kind and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. Probably the best experience I have had with a hotel. The area wasn't the best, but the hotel itself is safe, and the experience made up for that
- Cole (8/5): -
- Allan (10/5): great stay - Great staff, place was clean, location was perfect, lots of restaurants around the area so i did enjo my time some people probably smoked in their rooms so i didn't like the smell in the hall way next to my room as the smell came inside my room, but other than that, it was a great stay and i would recommend any of my friends to stay there for sure.
- Ed (7/5): It was what we needed to get through the weekend. - We liked the Superior room for having a separate room for relaxing, watching TV and not bothering the sleepers. It was a nice convenience . It was worth it. We were all happy how the weekend turned out. The placement of the microwave and mini fridge should not be in the bedroom people may be sleeping. And when the fridge kicked in every half hour in the bedroom you could hear it. Operating the coffee maker was confusing because the power switch is combined with the porch light switch. We never figured that out but the staff made sure we had coffee so good on you guys.
- James (1/5): -
- Dan (3/5): - Beds were very comfortable Room was insufferably hot as ac was down.
- Scott (7/5): -
- John (8/5): A charming, bygone days character hotel and part of Saskatoon’s heritage.. - In the heart of downtown, this hotel has many original features from the beginning of the 20th century which gave it a charm.
There was a pub and restaurant attached that was tastefully decorated with good beers. The breakfast was basic but at least it was included in the price.
- Gordon (7/5): Nice accommodations after a long drive - Close to 24-hour restaurants It could use some new carpet and paint.
- Margaret (10/5): Great place to stay. - Mary was amazing at greeting us early so we could drop our luggage off and every day since she always asked us how our day went. All the staff were helpful and kind.
It was so nice to return to our rooms at the end of the day with the bed made, clean towels and rubbish emptied.
The restaurant served yummy breakfasts that kept us going to mid afternoon.
Would highly recommend it, and if we are ever in Prince Albert again, we will definitely book this accommodation. No complaints from us!
- Trevar (8/5): It was a great little spot to stop for the night. - The location was perfect for myself, staff went over and beyond. Nothing that they could do, but there was some excitement in the back with some locals burning a dumpster.
- Dalynn (10/5): Kind staff, good location close to McDonald’s/Tim Hortons and a convenience store right behind the hotel, comfortabl - Kind staff, good location close to McDonald’s/Tim Hortons and a convenience store right behind the hotel, comfortable beds, clean linen, free parking, decent price! All was good.
- Shauna (6/5): It worked for what we needed it for - The price was fair and close to the venue we were attending. On a main drag so there were plenty of restaurants and other amenities available Unfortunately the hotel itself smelled of old smoke, and people that were in and out of rooms were loud and not respectful of others staying in the hotel. I would say this hotel is more suited for adults only and not really for kids
- Opikokew (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff good restaurant easy to register
- Cecilia (1/5): Bad - Rip off place
This hotel said booking.com charges 250 per night for deposit
Rude and lost out on money
Reception was too busy on her phone and ignorant
- Keli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katelyn (7/5): Good - It was a big room, liked the separated couch off of the main suite. Bedroom door was not flush with the floor, could see light under it. Was noisy but that’s to be expected with staying in the first floor. Definitely outdated, but was good! The lady working the desk in the AM was great, her personality makes you feel good. The house key used to come in the side entrance. Noise levels of other guest(no fault of the hotel) and that could see light under the bedroom entrance door
- Beverly (8/5): Will definitely stay again. - Staff were helpful and super friendly. Restaurant was clean, food was good staff was great. Rooms were big, sitting room and sleeping area was great with having kids, as I didn't have to go to bed at the same time. Heater in sleeping area didn't work, but staff brought us a small space heater which did the trick.
- Linda (9/5): I enjoyed my short day at the Cornett - I like that it’s close to McDonald’s and Montana’s I have a big rig I guess and it’s difficult to park in your parking area. Plus it’s not well defined. People aren’t the most intelligent people and tend to park and block. Exit area areas.
- Roberts (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sanderson (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
- Ibrahim (9/5): Superb -

- Corey (8/5): Very good -
- Bev (8/5): Very good -
- Wang (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ken (2/5): Very poor - no breakfast
- Barbara (9/5): It was great clean great staff, shit happens with older buildings - Breakfast was great, staff was great. The problems we had was the plumbing, ( toilet just about overflowed, was very slow when flushing even after staff came to fix it.) the air conditioner wasn't working it only pumped out hot air. We had to take the windows out so we could get cool air flow in room.
- Roseann (6/5): Just ok . - Convenient to what I needed Very tired could use a total upgrade .
- Violet (1/5): Would not recommend this hotel to anyone - Nothing Filthy rundown bad location
- Amanda (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and functional. The room was so cold, like they hadn't turned the heat on for fall yet. Even though they helpfully sent up a space heater, I had to take the blankets from the other bed and put them on mine.
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Nate (4/5): Try somewhere else. - Extremely dated. Peeling paint, noisy. Was the only hotel not booked by fire crews so had no choice. Would have left if I had one.
- William (7/5): Good - Reasonably economical. The vibe.
- Karen (9/5): My go-to hotel whenever I'm in PA - Large room, comfy bed, good air conditioning, good location, good wifi, friendly & helpful staff The toilet liked to run all day & then not flush properly. When this was reported to the staff, though, it was looked into right away & the issue was resolved.
- Norm (5/5): Passable -
- Milton (9/5): Superb - I was disappointed that you restaurant wasn't open for supper. No comment.
- Debbie (8/5): Very good - Staff were accomodating. We were initially in a room that smelled like smoke. They moved us and it was much better. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hallway rug could be replaced. The location of the hotel is unfortunate.
- Nicole (4/5): It was clean enough. But no - Accessible /
Good location but also not good due to the rif raf around it. Did not feel safe.
(Real coffee mugs was a plus. !) It was old. Outdated. Smelled like smoke everywhere. Beds not comfortable.
- Lorne (9/5): Good value, good place to stay. - We had a nice room with a separate sitting/TV room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had no issues here. we booked late, got a nice room and enjoyed our stay. Only stayed one night as this was just one overnight stop on a fairly long trip. Staff was helpful and directed us where to find stores with items we needed. No issues, just a good experience. Room showed a little signs of age but was very adequate. I have absolutely no complaints
- Phillipe (9/5): Punching way above it's weight! - The bulding and the room far exceeded my expectations for the price! The WiFi wasn't working for me. I'll admit that it wasn't a big issue for me, and if it was I would have reached out to the front desk.
- Lastles (8/5): Very good -
- Ballantyne (8/5): Very good -
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Desiree (10/5): Exceptional - That it was easy to find Nothing
- Lastles (9/5): Superb -
- Eagle (8/5): I enjoyed the hotel - Location Restaurant wasn’t open
- Linda (8/5): Cute lil one bedroom sans kitchen - Close by to exhibition grounds. Was working the winter festival as a volunteer. Hallways are noisy but to be expected.
There weren’t any do not disturb signs for the doors. Housekeeping came in and move items from one bed to another. They should never touch a customers items. Also if we had the sign we would have put it in the door as they didn’t need to clean the room for a two night stay. Perhaps fill coffee and fresh towels but that is easily picked up at the front desk.
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Jamas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - The room was clean, beds were super comfy. It was quiet, and staff are amazing!
- Fechter (8/5): Overnight stay in PA - Clean. Fresh smelling rooms. Suites are very large and comfortable. Dog friendly. Staff were awesome. The restaurant was good for breakfast and quick. We were on the first floor, and it was quiet. The family stayed a few doors down and did notice some noise. Overall, it is a very nicely renovated hotel would stay again. Right by McDonalds across the street from the casino.
- Keshane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (9/5): Superb -
- Farms (9/5): I will definitely return! - Very clean and close to restaurants and shops. My room was huge. I was traveling with a dog and staff made our stay fun! Lots of visiting and treats for my dog. Slightly dated, though that has no bearing on the quality of the stay. I had trouble finding an electrical outlet that wasn’t being used (probably the age of the room) and the plugs that were part of the lamps didn’t seem to ‘hold’ my phone charger.
- Wang (4/5): Disappointing - AC works noisy
- Albert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Angela (10/5): When I come to PA, I love staying here. Such friendly staff and a very comfortable room with everything I would ever nee - The location is great. Staff is excellent. Super friendly and helpful and the rooms are fabulous. If you need a place to chill out and hang your hat for the night, this is the place! The off sale attached to the building means there are people hanging around the front but I’ve never had issues.
- Clarence (7/5): Good -
- Lastles (9/5): Welcoming and comfortable - Staff is wonderful and accommodating, the restaurant is very good, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It can get a little noisy and active late at night, with the bar and the location.
- Brad (8/5): Very good -
- Ivan (9/5): Superb -
- Darcella (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): Perfect for a little getaway. Great value! - It’s well located and has all amenities close by. The staff are all exceptionally friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and wish it could be longer. I had everything I needed in the room and didn’t expect the roomy suite I received. It’s a great place to stay if in the area. Everything was clean. There are quite a few people milling around outside because of the liquor store attached to the building (separate entrance). The decorating could be updated but everything was clean and pleasant.
- Lorraine (8/5): Very good - Only had coffee for breakfast
Room had 2 very comfortable beds & was larger than expected, with an extra sitting room with large screen TV. Hotel is near to amenities….restaurants & shopping.
Staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good -
- Gao (10/5): Exceptional - clean ,comfortable , great service ,lower price
- Kenneth (7/5): Okay for the price. - The location was fine. There was no included breakfast. The decor was a bit dated but relatively well kept.
- Sarika (7/5): Good - location , clean and happy smiling staff
- Greg (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robin (6/5): Just okay. - Good location, friendly staff, big room. The window of this first-floor room looked out onto a courtyard where at least two different women at various times would wander around looking down and studying the garden for some strange reason (didn't look like workers). Also, when we opened the curtains, another woman would stare at us from the building with more rooms across the courtyard. Not sure if that was a part of the motel? As a result of feeling on display, we kept the curtains closed, which made the room quite dark. Although there is an on-site restaurant, it was not open and there was no breakfast included in the rate. Not even coffee in the lobby.
- Linda (10/5): very happy at the Coronet and will be back! - easy access to room honestly all was great
- Jeanine (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly Old style keys to get into the side doors
