• Evaldas (4/5): - Location, close to the summit Beds were terrible, for this price buying a simple mattress shouldn't be a huge problem. Hot water took forever to start running and run out of almost immediately.

• Foivos (8/5): Good value for the price at a quiet location not too far from the main village and the restaurants and cafés. - Accommodation was quite roomy, situated at the rear of the property just outside the main town of Kalyvia, and very quiet, with convenient on-site parking adjacent to the room. The bed (single) was comfortable as was the sofa bed, though I did not fold it out. The kitchenette had all the pots and pans and crockery and cutlery to feel like home. and some. The spacious bathroom was a delight, and clean and tidy. My hosts were friendly welcoming, as was their new puppy who enjoyed a tickle. Overall, an excellent place to stay for anyone attempting the 1-day Mt Olympus climb via the “Secret Trail” which departs from the town square of Kalyvia. Perhaps a little less detergent on the bedlinen (this is a personal peeve of mine as I am overly sensitive to synthetic chemicals, others may not sense)

• Lm (9/5): Superb - Parking next to the house, good for motorbike. Host was very nice and responsive. Good location for transfer, easy to find and get to. Weak WiFi.

• Alison (10/5): Wonderful stay in Kalyvia! - Very easy to communicate with owner as our plane was delayed so we had to check in late. She was very accommodating. Space was great - very clean. Barking dog and early morning rooster right next to window. Not the owner's fault but made sleeping a little difficult. Didn't affect us as we had to be up early and it was part of the country charm!
