Tinha um contador em libras em cima do microondas de quanto se gastava de electricidade e de gás e isto não me agradou nada parecia que teria de pagar pelo que consumia de gás e de eletricidade portanto senti me pressionado nunca tinha visto tal. Também tinha um locker com código para aceder a mais toalhas de maneira a dar para 5 pessoas que eram o número total de ocupantes registados na reserva.
• Jennifer (4/5): Not as expected - The location was what we wanted There were no extra blankets ( the quilts were so thin a blanket was needed) and the 'throw' on the beds wasn't adequate. The radiator cover was not attached securely in the living room. The kitchen equipment was barely sufficient. It would have been difficult to cook a meal there ( not one mixing bowl and cutlery was sparse) Only one tea towel. The door to the shower did not close properly and water went on floor making it a health and safety issue. There were no curtains in the house which made it look bare and blinds did not keep out sun. The heating was not working correctly. We were asked if we would allow the plumber in for boiler maintenance and I do t think this is appropriate when we were hiring property. The heating would not turn on and we had to call for advice. We discovered the boiler was turned off ( why?) and advised to turn it on. When turned on it heated radiators. When we left property for the day we turned the thermostat down to 12 but when we returned the heating had not turned off so I assume the boiler was not working ( and owners knew because they asked us to let plumber in) but did not tell us . Not good customer service. Very little storage space in bathroom and bedrooms. The garden furniture was practically non existent. What are we supposed to do with a table but no chairs. Also no privacy at all in the garden. I really think the info on the website did not prepare us for the state of the property.
• Ailsa (4/5): Would not recommend this property for a family - The location was good. Within travelling distance to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Train and bus stops close . Bed linen and towels were clean On arrival there was a musty odour in house. No plugs for sinks or a washing up bowl. House is very tired. Radiator cover not attached to wall if you touched it, it would topple. We had young children with us. Up stairs the carpet strip at doors had to be covered with towels as the nails were sticking up, we had to remove one it was sticking up and one of the children caught it on her foot. The shower was mouldy , tiles could’ve been done a clean. Again no plug in sink , just a spring. The garden not fit , this is very unsafe. Apart from the fence having rotten posts , there was a shed collapsed and piled to the side with nails sticking up. Was unable to sit out as the garden table had no seats. Outside back door there was a block or bin of some kind with cigarette butts in it. No fate again unsafe. The oven in kitchen smoked when we put it on. It was disgusting

• Sally (5/5): Could be a great place if had some TLC - Comfy beds, good water pressure in shower, well equipped kitchen, very spacious garden and well decorated. Carpets and furniture very clean. Nice area and lots of places to walk dog. Shed in garden falling over! Needs removing ASAP. No bins upstairs, saucepans and oven need a good clean, no doormats to wipe feet, mold in shower sealant, no chairs for outside table, outside handrail completely broken. Also a clear house number would help as we arrived late at night and hard to find which house it was. I know there are no wardrobes or chest of drawers in the bedroom photos but the provided rail was not enough as nowhere to put things. Only 4 placemats on a table with 6 seats. This place could easily be an 8 or 9 if a bit of attention was given.
