Guest Reviews
- Jayana (10/5): -
- Liz (7/5): - Lovely big room with sea views. Host was very friendly and pleasant. Only downside was the pillows and mattress as they were too hard for me. But overall a lovely stay for a very good price. Hard pillows.
- paul (4/5): -
- Leaning (7/5): -
- andrew (10/5): Great value and beautiful views of the coast - Short walk to Redcar centre pubs and restaurants Nothing
- Marie (10/5): Fab stay - Never stayed here when we arrived I had to phone Irene to let her know we were there, she asked us to go to the lake side which was only a few doors down. When I got there the gentleman said we were staying there for our 2 nights which I didn't mind as I had stayed there a few month prior and knew it was clean and comfortable The single bed in room 1 made a creaking noise everytime you turned over. Apart from that everything was great
- Tommy (2/5): No location - Nothing Got to location. But had the owner said it was triple booked and we got headed to the beacon hotel
- Mandy (9/5): All round comfy and clean - The room was clean and tidy beds were comfy , we liked the use of the kitchen area we used it alot, its a nice walk to the town and local pubs, we would recommend staying there, and we will be back to stay again The only thing was the dirty washing left in the entrance hall way it didn't look very inviting for new customers coming in, and of course use sitting in the kitchen it looked untidy it shud be moved when changing the rooms,
- Rachel (4/5): Wouldn’t stop again very stressful stay - Comfy bed access to kitchen No house keeping, only one toilet role and no change of towels for the 4 nights had to call staff as first morning electrics blew and noises guessed drinking and making noise until 3 am on 2 nights. Made a complaint and staff did respond well
- Biernacki (10/5): - Obsługa / personel
- Forrest (8/5): - Was there for only 1 night, the room was clean and tidy with an onsuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and it was a perfect stay. I will be booking again next year.
- Geraldine (8/5): - Beds were so comfortable 🙂 , great location , large room .
- Kevin (5/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Location The bedding was clean that was it. The bathroom was very dirty hasn’t been cleaned for a long time thick dust on the shower and the skirting boards the bins had been emptied but where dirty. There was even skid marks In the toilet. The towels were clean but one tiny one and a hand towel not big enough to get showered or 2 people. Parking says on site but you have to pay as normal no permit which is fine but should be stated on hotel there was radiators but the weren’t on and it was freezing.
- Emma (10/5): We stayed for one night, just me and my daughter who had a local gymnastics competition near by. The room was clean and - Location and friendly staff Nothing
- Tom (5/5): -
- Stephanie (8/5): - Great location easy to check in and out .great value for money. I was really cold needed heating or spare blankets.
Toilet smelt funny
No tea bags .

- David (9/5): Suited me perfectly. Clean, quiet, well-positioned, no fuss. - Location perfect for me. Bedside light - too white.
- Daisy (10/5): Clean, comfortable apartment - Clean, comfortable apartment looking out onto the beautiful seaside. We were on the second floor family room, comfortable beds, clean white sheets, tea/coffee facilities & shower gel included. There is a communal kitchen everyone can use, 2 fridges available, kitchen equipment well supplied.
Host Brian was also helpful. I can't fault it at all.
- Kimberley (10/5): Relaxing Stay - Clean, spacious family room on the top floor with lovely sea views and of the small lake opposite. The beds were particularly clean and comfortable. It was nice and quiet outside at nighttime too. We came for a night’s R&R after a busy working week and weren’t disappointed. Thank you Nothing
- Rohantha (4/5): Hopeful stay - Nothing Double room one towel and 2 pillows no staff very poor service
- Nicole (10/5): -

- Lomax (8/5): - Room very clean. Liked that the window opened in a hot spell of weather. A single room, but not cramped. Bed not overly comfortable.
- Arnold (7/5): Good value overnight stay in quiet area with free overnight car parking. - Good value for overnight stay. Free car parking outside property between 6:00pm and 8:00am outside of which spaces are pay-and-display. Owner met us on arrival to hand over front door and room door keys. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk provided. Kitchen available on ground floor shared by rooms. Quiet area. Room 5 is up two flights of stairs with no lift (which we knew beforehand and caused us no problem) but may make access difficult for less mobile. Otherwise N/A.

- Hemila Harriet Nelson (9/5): - The property is in a great location with some rooms having a great view. The beach is beautiful and we would defintely visit again. If the exterior appearance matched the interior it would be great. The rooms also if soundproof might help since other guests can hear every move of fellow guests.
- Simon (8/5): Great value for money will return for sure - Great Host A little noisy but not over the top considering workmen stay over
- Nicholas (10/5): - Really helpful owner and rooms are lovely
- David (9/5): - Brian the manager was helpful with parking information
- Alan (4/5): - Good location to beach and town To

- Steven (8/5): -
- John (7/5): Dodgy start, but got better. - Shower was great.
Location was amazing.
Number of beds We were given the wrong key to begin with you went into someone else's room that had unmade beds and food wrappers everywhere. Person apologised and we got the right room.
Room needed a better hoover. Sink needed a better clean. Hook in bathroom upside down. I would use a smaller bin in the main room as that big one needs a good clean inside.
- Carol (10/5): -
- Lea (7/5): Very pleasant - It was what I thought it would be, cheap and cheerful. I didn't have a spoon to stir my coffee, and it smelt of cigarettes at the front door.

- Isabel (8/5): -
- Robert (7/5): -
- Dieter (7/5): - sehr viel Staub....nur oberflächlich gereinigt
- pszczola (8/5): - the pin code for the door doesn't work - you have to call the contact number so that someone will come from another house and let you in.

- Anne (8/5): - The location and view from the room was fabulous. We had everything we needed, the staff were very helpful when we asked for an iron and ironing board. The table to make tea and coffee was too low which made it difficult to make a drink as I suffer from arthritis.

We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to get a key for the room we were staying in because they had accidentally booked us in for the wrong day.
I had to show them the booking I had made on booking com to prove we had arrived on the right day.
