• Rebecca (10/5): A home away from home but nicer than your own home!! - It was a beautiful secure property, I absolutely loved the bath and tv combo! Blissful way to relax! Nothing, everything was to an exceptional standard, the host was extremely generous and welcoming!
• Steve (10/5): A beautiful cottage wit everything you could possibly need - Stewart is an amazing host with an amazing property - everything we could think of was provided including a trip to the shops to buy essentials for our arrival so we could enjoy tea and toast after the long drive! The facilities are literally home from home, a great en-suite bath and shower room to the master bedroom upstairs, and separate shower room and toilet downstairs making the property so flexible for different types of guests. A beautiful living room, fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, outside table, chairs, sun loungers and awning and secure, gated parking completes the property. Sound bars, televisions is almost every room and distributed Sky TV mean that entertainment needs are taken care of, and easy access to the M80 and train stations at Lenzie & Croy mean that travel throughout Scotland is easy. We didn't find anything that we would make better. Woodhead View really is a home from home with everything supplied and a great host who is super helpful.

From the pre-check-in guidance on the parking app (Pal Gate) to wait for me according to my arrival time, every detail was well taken care of. The entire check-in and stay process was smooth. • Graham (10/5): Excellent gem - Fantastic stay, this has to be one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s completely stunning inside and to a very high standard. It’s got private gated entrance and private garden which is a little sun trap. Stewart the host was excellent and met me in person to hand over keys and talked me through everything. Communication was brilliant and everything was provided well in advance. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beds and pillows especially. Lots of TVs if that’s important to you. Luxurious bathrooms. Spacious. Private gate entrance is very nice. US size fridge (rare), provides paper products etc which isn’t always the case and amazingly there is an open bar. The host Stewart was exceptional. Nothing
• Catriona (10/5): Lovely ,very well equipped for cooking and entertainment - A lovely cottage in quiet location despite being near a main road. Secure parking and a wee garden round the property. which is inside a town park. It was very well equipped and lots of lovely products in the bathroom. Also an amazing bar and generous invitations to help ourselves. The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was amazing. We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation. To top it all, the great Malkie Hannah's chanter was fixed to the wall! Clues provided for the whereabouts of the cutlery drawer.

• Salty007 (10/5): Top quality accomodation in a town (and dog friendly) - High quality accomodation, all tastefully done - kitchen is top-quality, dining room is lovely, lounge and the two bedrooms are great. Dog friendly! In a town circa 30 mins from Glasgow city centre, and within 5 mins walking distance of a supermarket; and easy to get food delivered if that's your thing (we had a lovely Indian). On arrival, owner kindly said that we're welcome to try the (good quality) whisky and other spirits. Owner also said in advance, don't feel like we have to rush off at check-out (11 am), he can tidy around us; and then as it happened, on day of leaving we were snowed because of a snow storm, and so he encouraged us to stay safe, which we did by staying an extra hour in the comfy lounge. I generally prefer to let myself in and read a welcome guide, e.g., if plans for ETA go astray as happened here - BUT owner couldn't have been kinder about it so a minor obversation, not detracting from the 10 stars

• Steve (10/5): We would recommend this property highly and have no hesitation at all in returning. - Beautiful warm and inviting property. Fully furnished and very well equipped to the point that we didn’t want for anything at all. Secure parking on-site (no charge). The host Stewart was extremely helpful and a great communicator, and went above and beyond to arrange an early check in due to our early flight arrival. Stewart was there on our arrival to welcome us and to give us the tour, and very kindly invited us to help ourselves to the food and refreshments on hand. The property is centrally located and within walking distance to good pubs and restaurants. Bus stop right outside the door if you don’t have a car. Nothing!
• Tom (10/5): Lovely, spacious, comfortable house with very friendly host. - The house was very well-appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out, unpack and relax. The kitchen and bathrooms were excellent and spacious. The only minor "complaint" that I would have was there are too many TVs. One in every room including the kitchen or bathroom. This is not really an issue because if you don't want to watch them, don't turn them on! If you are a telly addict this is THE house for you!
• Eddie (10/5): Amazing property which feels like a true home from home. - Stewart met us at the property and made sure that we were all sorted and knew how everything worked. There were a few extras that we did not expect that Stewart had left for us, very nice touch. We felt that he went the extra mile and even phoned us to offer a late check out if we would like it. Stewart was very polite and welcoming us all to his wonderful property. Our daughter especially liked having a bath whilst watching TV. The property has been finished to a very high standard and the photos on Booking.com do not do the property justice, the property is even better in person. Anything you could possibly think you might need to bring with you is already in the property waiting for you to use it. There was nothing that we didn't like during our stay at the property.

• Rachel (10/5): Luxury property in amazing location for Glasgow. - Very comfortable house and beds with luxury touches including fluffy bathrobes and open drinks cabinet! Stewart the owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The house is also in a fantastic location - only 20 seconds from a playground and lovely local leisure centre for our two young children. Convenient train and bus links to central Glasgow too. The property was wonderful but we would ideally like a second bedroom with twin beds.

It has the most welcoming host, who went beyond his means to ensure that everything was perfectly prepared and clean. I liked absolutely everything.

• Nadine (9/5): Superb - Stewart and Josh are outstanding hosts who are going the extramile. The house built by them shows that in a lot of ways. Very cozy and excellent equipped with small touches (the Whisky Bar, chocolate gifts and provided toiletries) that should give you the right Home away feeling. Everything was very clean and tidy. We loved the furniture, the amazing kitchen and bathrooms. Next to the house is a park and our toddler enjoyed the playground and walking there very much. Located perfectly just a short drive outside from Glasgow and within an one hour drive to Edinburgh, Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Campsies you have the perfect base here for exploring. We definitly will come back. Thank you very much, Stewart and Josh, it was a great stay and you are great people. Looking forward to come back. There was nothing....

• Kim (10/5): Luxurious Comfort - What a wonderful little gem Woodhead View is! Stewart welcomed us into the home as if it was our own home, even including gifts and free rein over the drinks cabinet! I would best describe Woodhead View as homely yet luxurious. Great facilities, and techy touches..I've never stayed anywhere where there's a TV in the ensuite AND the shower room. And don't get me started on the towels..I could literally live in Stewart's towels..so incredibly fluffy & fresh! I even had to ask Stewart what he uses to achieve this magic! I arrived by car, however one guest travelled from central Glasgow via bus to Woodhead View without issue. We would highly recommend a stay at Woodhead View if you're looking to treat yourself, if I hadn't needed to travel home for work we would have definitely stayed longer!
• Tony (10/5): All of my family loved the property so this Is now my number one choice for future Glasgow visits. - This was a fabulously spacious, modern and clean property. Entrance was via a remote gate so felt really secure. It was also really quiet and secluded despite its location to the town centre. Hosts welcomed us an arrival and gave a quick run through of the amenities which was a great touch. 20 minute drive to Glasgow city centre. Nothing to dislike

• Rhona (9/5): Superb - The property is very large, clean and has all the mod-cons. Although the property sits on a main road, we didn't really hear the road inside the property and we enjoyed the peaceful walks nearby. It sits on the edge of a lovely local park and also, helpfully for dogs, has a secure and enclosed garden that it shares with one other property. We enjoyed some lovely dog walks up along the Strathkelvin railway path and out past the canals to the Campsies, as well as down towards Lenzie Moss park. The property is very well-maintained. But if I'm pushed for feedback then it would have been helpful to have had recycling bins and a compost bin in the kitchen, so that the outdoor recycling bins could be best used. During stays at other properties, I have enjoyed it when a property has had a dropbox for key collection or a hidden key, rather than meeting the host in person. For me, it helps the stay to feel more exclusive and private, but this might just be a personal preference.
• Damian (10/5): Excellent stay, lovely house, nice people - It’s great, good position, feels secure and plenty of parking. The interior is really well done and very nice to spend time in. Very modern kitchen with more kitchen equipment than you could ever need and a really nice fridge with ice and cool water on tap. The beds are super comfy, there’s a telly in pretty much every room including the bathrooms and a full sky package with movies too! Stewart and Josh can’t do enough for you and have really gone the extra mile to make this place welcoming, luxurious and comfortable. Nothing we didn’t like, it’s great. I did find it a bit tricky to find so maybe some more detailed instructions but that’s being super picky as we called Josh and he guided us there in no time.
