• David (5/5): It ended up being a nice stay for a night, but frustrating because of the communication issues if you do not speak Spani - Great view of the city and relaxing stay for a night. The gate is not marked and we didn’t get clear instructions on what to do when we got there. We were checked in by the maintenance guy that did not understand any English and had a hard time communicating with us. When we asked about our dinner options it was again hard to communicate with them because of the language barrier.

Reading lighting should be added. Perhaps for future refurbishments, textile material should be considered for the domes.

• Patricia (10/5): This was top-notch glamping - OMG!!!I Loved everything about this property and property location and staff. I've traveled a lot but never had an unforgettable view as this location. The amazing staff was above 10. They made themselves available whenever we needed something. The full traditional breakfast was great. It was so much food for me and my husband. Sophia and Lazaro made our meal as we suggested. I will never forget the kindness of Sophia and Lazaro: their love and compassion shown to us: they made our stay feel like home. Our space was always clean, and we didn't want for anything. The staff let us know they were available for us. I think there should be a name or number outside the property. On our first day, we passed the property 3 times because there was nothing to identify the property.

• Katia (6/5): Nice and creative but unfortunate the traffic sound of the city is really in your face loud and clear - Its pretty nice … its cold as high up … the only really intense disturbance is that you can hear all night the city of san jose s overall traffic … as i guess u r up on the side of the mountains up so the sound goes up but its really loud all night … it slows a little but its pretty brutal … Above
• Kitisha (10/5): It was the perfect way to unwind after five days of adventure and activities. - Everything was fabulous. They did such a great job with the interior and exterior design. I really felt like I was transported to a different place in time. The fire pit, the jacuzzi, the welcome basket were all lovely touches. Directions for operating everything is written in Spanish & English and the staff is very attentive via messaging. The included breakfast is phenomenal and they bring everything to your quarters and set it up on the table outside your tent. I am convinced that Alma is going ran by angels. Will definitely book again when I’m back in CR. I wish the shower water pressure was better. The type of shower head in use simulates a light rain. This can be great if you want to stand under the water and meditate, but not so great when you actually just want to shower and get out. I wish it had another setting you could use. That being said tho, I still give Alma 5+ stars.

• Samina (10/5): A hidden gem with boho aesthetic, stunning views and delicious food. - The place truly felt like an escape from reality. You get to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning and a complimentary bottle of wine with some s’mores at the fire pit in the evening while enjoying a panoramic view of San José, both in the day and night. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very delicious and fulfilling. The jacuzzi with a view and an aesthetic boho-style open-concept bathroom adds a sense of zen and peace. The domes have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including Netflix. I was stopping in San José for only one night, but I wish I stayed there longer because of this property. It’s a bit far from the city, and there’s nothing interesting in the area. But you can take Uber for 15 USD and go to the city.
