Scruffy, the beds are walking , the manager Adele is vile couldn’t get hold of her the first night to complain had to wait until the next morning not until about 11 she got out of her bed to reception, told her my issues was repeatedly told to F off it’s not her fault how she’s aloud work with customers is beyond me scruffy accommodation ran by horrible people like a crack shack The burn marks in every table the carpet that has never seen a hover the yellow and brown mattress the bed bugs the saw dust everywhere my children slept on towels until I could organise another accommodation the next morning ! We flew from Dublin my self and my 2 young sons appalling the lack of hygiene as a mother in a foreign country alone with her kids to be treated like that over complaining about the state of it
- Jackye (1/5): -
- Daniel (3/5): Needs a good clean but for what you pay it's ok - New manager was nice and welcoming. You get what you pay for and we only paid £32 but the room hadn't been hoovered in what seemed a while. The mattress was also very dirty. Other than that it was alright
- Charlotte (1/5): Disgusting hotel The Manageress was awful - Heater not working room freezing felt I couldn't shower shower tiny with a dirty curtain and No HOT WATER FOR OVER 2 DAYS only 1 toilet roll for 6 days !!!! & when I asked for more I was told very briskly on 2 occasion there was no delivery sloppy
Also I wanted to keep my walker in lounge games room WHICH WAS ADVERTISED AS A LOUNGE FACILITY FOR GUESTS ON INTERNET SO SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OPEN @@@!!!
WHAT A LIE .ALSO STINGY WITH COFFEE MILK SUGAR I HAD TO go down the stairs and out to buy coffee and milk 1 of Adels the Manageress children who is also cleaner was obliging and brought me coffee MATTHEW was very polite and obliging
AND OTHER 2 LITTLE ONES OF ADEL were sweet Adel spent all her time with the kids in bar and other lounge area with the 🚪DOOR CLOSED
BUT MATTHEW WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE AS I SAID
QUITE AMAZING AS HIS MOTHER WAS VERY RUDE and not at all helpful especially as I had (3weeks ago discharged )HAD spent 9 months in hospital. Acute Orthopedic ward and 40 hours of critical & NUMEROUS ANKLE & FEET & LEG SURGERIES SKIN FLAP & GRAFT TITANIUM PLATES METAL PIPES DRILLED INYO MY BONE. (,Aall the other guests were very helpful ) her job was to offer assistance.
Adels attitude was disgusting although. She did come up once to bring me something ,@@@!!! MATTHEW CARRIED MY SUITCASES UP AND DOWN THE STAIRS very kind . As I said above
I was disgusted & I will never ever stay there again with that hotel under the Management of Adel
- Joseph (3/5): Wouldn't not stay here again, - Location was good The room was very dated, walls in the room were dirty, holes in the walls, both in room and bathroom, toilet door wasn't able to close/open properly. Bathroom was tiny, 2 bunk beds for a family of 5 in a "deluxe room" can hear everything in the hotel from doors opening and closing to guests having
Overall all would not recommend!!

- Hayley (1/5): - There was a hole in the ceiling that was yellow and a hole in the wall. The room was dingy. The sheets had stains on them. The place was falling apart. The room was too small for two single beds.

- Benjamin (3/5): - Close to beach Like a house share walls are thin and dirty
- Rachel (10/5): -

- John (1/5): Dump cold filthy - Wow I have loads of pictures of the room proper dump
- Mark (1/5): - Sorry, but this shouldn't be open.
- Michael (2/5): -
- Leah (1/5): Disappointing and unclean - WiFi password when ypu walked in. Managed to get a space outside the hotel. The room was not clean. There was no real working door on the bathroom. It was ok to slide open bit when you try to slide it to close it did not work very well and you end up using the bathroom with the door half open. The base of the shower was filthy and it looked like no attempt had been made to clean anything as even the fan was thick with dust. The wooden top frame for the bathroom door was hanging off. The towel provided was not enough for 4 and 1 of them was dirty. One of the bed sheets was also dirty. We felt uncomfortable to stay here for the reasons listed above so left, did not sleep the night and paid for another hotel. The pictures on the website look dated but would have been fine. Our room was nothing like in the pictures. I think they just showed the best ones.

- Mark (6/5): 1 night stay - The manager was really nice and helpfull how central the place was how compfy the beds were and how warm the room was Bar wasnt open no kettle in room when there was cups and teabags no milk either carpet needed hoovering and bin needed emptying
- Eric (2/5): The host makes the entire experience awful! - The location was good and I found a McDonald's nearby but it felt shady to walk at night. I was a little scared to walk at night except for directly on the ocean front street Didn't like the hose at all. He's been working there way too long and he knows he's not going to get fired so he doesn't treat you with respect. He treats you like he has a chip on his shoulder and if you don't come at him like you're less than him, then he'll start doing things to try to get you kicked out of the hotel and make you feel like you're sabotaged. I was moved into a room and the first night it was extremely loud so I asked them a day or two later to switch me to a different room as I had paid for an entire month's stay. It was off-season so literally it was me and two or three other guests so the host should have been able to do a good job taking care of the guests but instead he really didn't want to be there in off season and treated us with disrespect. I asked to be moved to a better room where it was quieter since I was going to be sleeping there for an entire month. He moved me to a room that I asked to be moved to but he waited till I moved in and then I saw that the TV did not work. I asked him if he could get a remote from another room and he said no and he wouldn't take a TV from another room that actually worked and put it in there either. So I was stuck there for an entire month with no television knowing that all the other rooms had working TVs and that the host just wouldn't bother to move a TV from another room to my room even when I asked. Room was facing the rear next to the dumpsters and he kept yelling at me for leaving a crack open in the front door. I asked him for a fan and he refused to give me one. And when I went out walking for fresh air one day I came back in to get into the hotel and he was chain smoking with his friends and wouldn't even be bothered to step aside and allow me into the hotel. I had to stand there for a minute till they were all done smoking just to be able to walk through without going through a huge cloud of smoke. I didn't feel like I was a guest.

- Carrick (9/5): Excellent and we will be returning soon. - The new family running it now are fantastic, very warm and welcoming.
Clean, warm (we stayed on a freezing feb night with a 3yo) with comfortable beds, we all had a brilliant nights sleep.
We will be returning next month. Rooms are small so slide doors can be a pain but out of their control.
- Donald (2/5): - Close to the bingo and it was cheap Room was small, dirty, filthy shower, no remote for tv, hole in the ceiling, 42 steps to the room (room 18), uncomfortable beds.
- Layla (1/5): Health biohazard - Nothing Cold, stains on walls and floor, mold on walls, broken bed, broken plug sockets. Unsafe and unsanitary.
- Emma (1/5): Never ever again - Absolutely disgusting the hotel was vile the owner was screaming at her kids upon arrival very unprofessional I wouldn’t let rats stay here do not book Dirty unclean full of bugs unsafe ceiling collapsing bathrooms disgusting beds dirty
- Mcdermott (7/5): - The owner and her family was lovely and so welcoming Definitely needs a few things fixing and updating
- Darren mander (8/5): -
- ricky willsher (6/5): -
- Sophie (9/5): - Staff very friendly bed was comfy
- Carl (7/5): -
- Smith (1/5): - Nothing plate is a disgrace thieving scum Nothing no help was spose transfer me as problems with room and then never even gave me another room took my money as had already paid and never relieved a room for my second night but didn't even refund me this place is a disgrace and dirty and no help at all just take money but not give the good spose to
- Tom (8/5): The hollingdales Hotel - Not bad in general, the room had a smell to it but was fine with the window open, bed was incredibly used lol, I think a spring tore through my spine at one point haha quite a bit of a dip in it, window was filthy and had a pigeon nest above me, loud people walking past but nothing to report that I wouldn't stay here again, I only needed a bed for the nights and it gave me just that, I have no complaints and would absolutely stay again Dirty curtains and window and mattress could do with being replaced
But I would absolutely stay again and recommend anyone to stay there
- Emma (1/5): Awful - Absolutely awful, we stayed for 2 nights and had 2 rooms booked, over £170 paid and no hot water whatsoever across the 2 days, room was dirty when we arrived, with a cheese string wrapper in the middle of the floor, dead bug on the bed sheets and filthy carpet - underneath the bed was disgusting! I would like my money back!
- Ross (9/5): Perfect - The property was clean and in a nice location. The woman who run the place was lovely and helpful and always happy for a chat. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable, fresh linen and towels. Tea making facilities and nice hot showers a bit low pressure but was okay . For the price this hotel was amazing and have stayed in quite a few in Blackpool . The rooms were warm and heating was on . Also the rooms were nice for the price not run down decor was okay. Bathroom toilet was loose and needs to be stuck down but new management just took over so I’m sure it will get sorted.
- Robert (10/5): - Thank you had a great week will definitely recommend see you soon Rob Nothing
- Gemma (1/5): Vile avoid at all costs we checked out - Nothing Dirty rooms windows would clothes not heating fingernails on the floor filthy furniture
