Guest Reviews
- CAROL (8/5): -
- Darrell (9/5): Fantastic and quiet location close to all amenities - Location, decor and spacious Uncomfortable bed and sofa
- Irene (8/5): -
- Jackson (7/5): We loved the location steps away from the harbour - Location was fab Lack of windows
- Kim (9/5): Second time here and not the last - Location Clean and tidy
- Paylor (7/5): Good - Clean Very dark few windows
- Jane (6/5): Excellent location. Complicated tech/tv/oven - Location excellent, yards from harbour side. Beds were comfortable. Open nature of property meant you could hear every word/sound if sharing with others. Overly complicated tv/oven (insructions for oven were not easy to follow/tv way too complicated, apps galore but trying to watch standard channels a nightmare!)more space to hang damp clothing, towels. Need more tea towels. No kitchen towel. Only found the washing machine after opening a cupboard in the bathroom.
On arrival in St. Ives we went to find the property and it was ready at 11.30am - this was great, BUT we had no communicationto let us know meaning our luggage was up in Trenwith car park! Had to schlep up again to fetch it. Text was received informing us the property was ready, but not until 2.20, when it was obviously ready much earlier......
- Hazel (9/5): Excellent location and love St Ives - No keys just a code into a key pad - excellent. Location was excellent. Sofa was tired and too saggy in corner for comfort. Did cause back ache. Parking at the Island car park was stressful. You can only pay for a weekly ticket on line and the day before, however if there are no parking spaces you cannot park. We took the chance and managed to park then went online and paid for a week therefore overpaying for a day we would not be in St Ives. On leaving the car park we were charged for a full week. We were refunded but this was not the point, surely a better system of paying should be in order!
- Brian (8/5): Very comfortable lodging in excellent location - Location, comfortable, well-appointed. No small bowls (for ice cream, etc.)
No recycling facilities
Second bedroom very small
- Julia (9/5): Perfect location! - Amazing location. A minute's walk to the harbour. Such a treat to be so central. Lovely characterful position in back street. Very comfortable, spacious living room/kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Very useful welcome pack of groceries. Self check made things very easy. The oven is a microwave combi oven so not really possible to cook anything other than simple things but I appreciate most people on holiday probably don't require anything more. We love to cook and found it a bit limiting but it's a minor point. Everything else was fantastic.
- Laura (9/5): The location of the Boathouse is first-rate! - Location, location, location! Steps away from the Wharf and harbor.
Comfortable accommodation; well appointed kitchen. The welcome groceries were a godsend. The Boathouse needs better air circulation! We could not imagine being there in the heat of the summer.
The windows in the bedroom open, however downstairs, one has to open the top of the Dutch doors to get any air movement. A couple of portable fans would be nice additions.
Also, the trash bin was locked, so we couldn't take out the week's trash. Finally, you cannot read a book in bed without the glaring overhead lights. Not everyone is reading before bed on an iPad.
- Cecilia (9/5): Superb -
- Dennis (9/5): Excellent location and value for money would use again - Seagulls are a bit noisy but hey it is on the harbour
- Karina (9/5): Great location, easy check-in/checkout, very clean -
