• Germaine (10/5): Ideal. - Lots of little extras like milk in the fridge, tea and coffee etc. Basically everything you might need. Great location for the centre of Reading. Very comfy bed. Cheaper than staying at a hotel. Perfect. Key fob needs replacing and keeping on the key chain. We almost lost it a couple of times. Minor but I'm guessing expensive to replace.

• Maaike (8/5): Mooi appartement, vriendelijke hosts. - Het contact met de host was gemakkelijk. Ze waren vriendelijk en toeschietelijk. Toen er iets stuk was werd het binnen een half uur gerepareerd. Het appartement is mooi ingericht, ruim en schoon. Het is vlak bij bus en treinverbindingen. Het appartement is wel gehorig. Wij hoorden de bovenburen lopen en ook straatgeluid kwam wel binnen. We hebben daar verder geen last van gehad, maar het viel wel op.

• Angell (8/5): Clean House and Good for Guests with Cars. - Chester House has a secure parking lot which is very convenient for guests with a car. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are very clean and comfortable. Could upgrade the mattresses to more firm ones.

• Turkan (1/5): They are asking for an extra excessive payment. - We paid an early check-in fee for our arrival. Although we were informed that a £10 fee would apply for late check-out, we were told we would be charged £20 just because we informed them 15 minutes late. We also work in the hospitality industry in Turkey, and we would never put a guest in such a situation. Their hospitality is non-existent.
• James (7/5): Had 3 nights in the apartment with my 2 sons, was good for what we wanted - Clean, tidy and well equipped. Nice touch to have some groceries provided. Good for us to have single beds instead of double beds. Couldn’t get the hot water working so had cold showers. Wasn’t very clear where my allocated parking space was, seemed a bit odd that it was on the road. No charging facility on this. Apartment was quite hot, even with the windows open.

The apartment was spotless on arrival. The area isn't particularly nice, although once parked up it's fine due to secure parking. I appreciate not a lot can be done about where it is and the price may reflect that.

Large rooms, very clean, new appliances, huge bathtub + shower, large TV had Netflix, private parking with electric gate, keys in the lockbox, full kitchen, little extras like milk, coffee, and soap for the dishwasher and laundry. Also very clear communications before arriving (directions, lock box code, etc.) I can't think of anything.

Nice big TV and good kitchen facilities. Tesco only 5 minute walk away was great. Good water pressure. Couldn't hear other flats. No table to eat at but not a big deal as can eat dinner on the sofa.

• Anita (10/5): Visiting Family - You instantly feel at home the minute you walk in the apartment. It's very well equipped and very clean. Parking was a prerequisite for us and the gated parking space was just perfect. My daughter is at Reading University and the location was perfect to meet up with her in Reading Town Centre and enjoy various activities like The Escape Rooms. We also really appreciated the help with taking our cases up the stairs to the first floor.. There honestly wasn't anything to dislike.

• Helen (6/5): Clean tidy flat but wouldn’t return. - The property was very clean and tidy and well equipped for the stay. Bathrooms are lovely. Lovely welcome pack provided which was much appreciated. Thought has gone into the interior aesthetics. The location isn’t great and it was very overpriced for what it is, the other people renting the other apartments for the weekend all agreed! Sleeps 4 but sofa only really sits 3 comfortably. I left it clean and tidy, even cleaned inside the dustbins but was charged from my deposit for fat splashes on the hob and what looks like lipliner pencil on one bed sheet which apparently couldn’t be removed by washing so I was charged for a brand new replacement bed set. So be very careful to leave it spick and span before you leave!!!!!! I run holiday lets and I don’t expect people to clean up every smudge or crumb, that’s what I’m paid to do! I would have been pleased at how I left it so I was very upset about the whole experience. Take pictures before you leave so you can prove you left it clean!!!! Disappointing end to the weekend.

The bed was super comfy, the open plan kitchen and living room was lovely and just the perfect size for the two of us. We had treats left for us (sweets, crisps, pop) for when we arrived, along with what seemed unlimited amounts of coffee, tea, and sugar. There was a new carton of milk in the fridge along with a whole bottle of fresh water. The little things made it even better. The security gate outside made everything feel secure and not once did I worry about our belongings whilst out and about. We stayed for Reading festival from Friday to Monday, and we would happily stay here again and again each time we come to Reading! Nothing to say that we didn't like! Maybe the last minute damage deposit fee which I was unaware of but I honestly think that was my own fault from not reading the small print when I booked!
• Amanda (10/5): Our stay was as comfortable as could be as it was well equipped and homely - The flat was very modern and was extremely comfortable to stay in. It was well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend and the hosts even left us some treats and a bottle of wine as we were attending Reading festival nearby. Very accommodating and we felt super safe staying here as it was located inside a gated community. The flat was kept clean and was made to feel very homely. No faults apart from that it was slightly expensive due to our stay being the weekend of Reading festival so all prices were hiked

We were met on arrival and handed over some drinks and snacks in the room. Stephanie on the phone helped us organise our car being left their slightly earlier. Great location for the festival, only a 20 minute walk home afterwards. Really good value for money and exceptional service in the build up. N/A

• Oke (8/5): Very comfortable. - Very clean and practical for a family of 4. Probably a sofa chair could be a useful addition to accommodate family with children of different sex. Gas burner lighter constantly sparking. Reported multiple times all through my stay but nothing was done.
• David (9/5): Comfortable stay in Reading - Facilities were good. The 200 pound damage deposit at the last minute and officious emails about checkout n extra charges. Also directions to get there need to mention there are two Chester Streets in Reading, we went to the other one first.

Nice touch of carton of milk in fridge, along with biscuits and cereal provided. Room was very hot, even with windows and skylights opened. One fan had a broken blade which made the fan noisy to use. The other fan was quiet Beds were cheap nasty mattresses and not comfortable at all, when moving in bed, you felt the springs

• Imam (9/5): Dream apartment - The apartment was exceptional. Complete facility for tea coffee and you can even cook also. Everything was available. Very clean, spacious, and close to supermarkets, restaurants, and Reading West train station. Availability of check-in information on the morning of the day of arrival. We were on the flight and couldn't see that information till we landed in the late afternoon. I lost a good amount of money with a deposit in GBP and refund in local currency due to currency conversions.

• Frijolitouk (10/5): Very smart, clean and modern apartment. Well equipped for a short or long term family stay. - The place was super well equipped. Nice touches like having the dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets on hand and ready to use. They also included some free cereals, milk and some sweets for the kids which was nice of them.
• Jenny (10/5): Comfortable, clean apartment ideal for a family. - Good facilities, clean and spacious. Noisy neighbours didn’t stop partying until nearly midnight, thankfully this was next to our bedroom and not the children’s. It wasn’t made clear how to unlock the gate into the property.

Great location within 10 minutes of Reading West train station to get to London and just around the corner from a massive Tesco. Lots of takeaways nearby as well. Apartment was very well equipped and refurned to a high standard. Wifi and TV streaming were great. Bathroom shower amazing. Sofa was OK. Being an apartment facing the car park (number 7 with twin beds) it is also very quiet. The beds are a little soft for us. The bath is actually too big, so much so that it is difficult to lie comfortably in it and the silicone around the edge of the bath had come away. The biggest bugbear for us was the heating - there was too much of it. If the thermostats on the radiators worked there was no evidence of it so it was a case of heating the place up and then turning it down on the wall thermosat until it cooled again. It's also a little on the expensive side.

• Captain (6/5): Not bad but not great - Facilities were good. Great rain shower. Automatic floor lights in bathroom. Cooker and oven worked well. 60-inch good quality TV with modern HDMI ports. Wi-Fi speed was excellent at around 230Mbps download and 100Mbps upload (tested several times at Fast.com). Gated parking and access to property. Remote control to open gates. Door to the apartment was not slam-shut and lock - that's good because risk of getting locked out was zero. Good ventilation. Soundproof bedroom. Apt is very soundproof. Bed was very nice - slept like a log. On first night of arrival of 5 nights, someone was parked in parking space assigned to my flat. Boiler broke down around 19:00 on final night I stayed and after engineers did a routine inspection between 12:00 and 13:00. No desk. No chair. Mud from shoes on the stairs up to 2nd floor remained for two days (photographic evidence taken). Main door left wide open by someone on two occasions, on two separate days. Not a sign of anyone who worked at the site. No lift.

• Muhammad (10/5): Supreme standards - This is one of the best accommodations I have stayed and almost beats 5 star hotel suites. It is clean, ultra modern, decorated with taste and of very high standard. I am not easily pleased with places I stay, but this was secure, excellent location, quiet, and the beat part was the prompt customer support. This was better than expected, and even the amazing pictures on the website are not the real reflection of how beautiful this apartment is. Thank you. Not applicable
• Kesici (8/5): Nice stay in a lovely modern apartment, we will stay again. - Nice apartment for families. Everything looked new. Kitchen was well stocked and they had water and milk in the fridge for our arrival. They also put some sweets on the table for the kids with all the information about the apartment and area. Liked that they had two bathrooms. Good area and apartment was clean. Parking behind the electric gates and no extra cost for that which was great. Two blinds weren’t working. No blind in the en-suite bathroom so used a towel. Stairs up to the apartment not great for carrying heavy suitcases but overall really happy with our stay and would stay again.

Anything we needed she sorted out straightaway. She also asked after we left if the stay was okay. I thought that was very courtesy of her. Lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy. The kitchen itself was well equipped with stylish cutlery! It was great to have a washing machine/dryer and dishwasher! Everything you need in the apartment was available! Regards Samina. It would of been great to have lifts in the building! That was the only thing that was lacking.

• Zsolt (6/5): Very nice apartment but very few issues. - The place was clean and nicely decorated, very comfortable, and well equipped. The location was in a run down area of Reading. There was some uncomfortable inconvenience when a guest arrive, and the information to get into the apartment not a straight forward as one can think. In case of a bad weather one can frantically standing in the rain , looking for internet to see the email with the details for the code for the keys. In my opinion should be other venues to get the code and not in the last minutes..The other issue, there was a very small fragment from broken glass on the living room floor which found the way into my foot. Therefore I was limping for 2 days, and finally , after the trip I managed to take it out. Thanks God that I am in perfect health. Imagine if this happens to someone who might have diabetes or other chronic condition.
