Guest Reviews
- Michael (10/5): Great for a short or long stay with friends or family. - Location. Cleanliness. Well equipped kitchen.
- young (9/5): - The most comfortable beds ever, very well equipped
- Katherine (9/5): -
- Louise (7/5): Good -
- Penny (8/5): Very good - Location was fabulous. Lovely view from the small balcony in living room. Apartment was spacious & comfortable & nice and bright & airy. Generally it was well appointed although given it caters for 6 the number of mugs could do with being increased. Also more than one tea towel would have been useful & perhaps some milk & tea/ coffee available on arrival.
Arrival information & parking details were informative & provided promptly. Bathrooms & kitchen were clean but other areas had evidence of previous occupiers left overs & could have been more thoroughly cleaned. The double bedroom without the ensuite felt like you were sleeping in the junk room with a rather tired settee & for some reason a desk & swivel stool. That room lacked a mirror & hairdryer & all the bedrooms were missing waste bins.
We found the dining chairs rather low for the table.
Parking might be tight if more than one car or a large car
- Katharine (8/5): Lovely for a short stay - The cottage was in a lovely location with great views. The little beach nearby was a nice walk and you can go on a cliff top walk.
It had lots of kitchen equipment, cleaning products, games and books, which was nice. There was a garden and garden furniture, but we didn’t get to use it. Some of the furniture and soft furnishings were a bit old and tired. Fridge and cooker hadn’t been cleaned from the last people.
- Kirsty (10/5): Fantastic accommodation in a gorgeous setting. - The accommodation was immaculate and so homely! I've never been somewhere that is so well stocked. There were so many little extras provided that we weren't expecting. It was spacious and allowed us to gather as a family. Communication with the owner was excellent. Location was brilliant, tucked out of the way but within a short drive to amenities! Absolutely loved our stay. Nothing, loved it!
- David (10/5): Portling View - an appreciation - The location was excellent for being out through the day then coming back and having a rest then an evening walk down to the beach or along the clifftops. Nothing.
- Anet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Theresa (10/5): Excellent quality accommodation in idyllic setting - The minute I walked up the stairs, into the lounge and looked out from the balcony my heart sung. Stunning view, beautiful bird song, glorious. The property is excellent, very well equipped in every way. Couldn't have wanted more. Quiet walk to a beautiful beach and coastal walks. Exclusive use of part of the garden, a lovely garden with bench and sunloungers. Very comfortable lounge, large TV. This cottage is in a quiet location with beautiful coast and countryside all round. Loved every minute staying here. Nothing not to like. This house has everything. Even had pint glasses for us ale fans and a tea pot!
