Guest Reviews
- Anthony (10/5): - Location Nothing
- Sophy (10/5): Fabulous place - great location, comfortable and roomy. Even better in person than the photos. Will be booking again soo - Location was perfect
- Parris (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay, great host who ensured we had any information we needed. Spacious property, which was well deco - The property was very central, fantastic location.
It was a nice size & had everything we needed.
Despite some of the reviews I read on here prior to attending, there was more than enough plates / cups / cutlery. A completely personal thing and the only thing I could say I “didn’t like” - I didn’t get on with the pillow. Very thick pillow, would have loved an option to swap to something smaller.
Didn’t have a negative impact on my stay
- Lee (9/5): - Great property with everything we needed for our stay. In a superb location and loved the house its a great find, We would definitely stay here again No parking
- James (10/5): Perfect location. Clean. Value for money. Would definitely recommend - Location was perfect. Didn’t use the car all week. £44 for parking all week in car park. Or, couple minute walk outside of Cromer you can park on multiple roads for free all week which we did. Nice outdoor area. The odd minor touch up if being picky, couple of outdoor slabs could do with refitting so they are not wobbly. Only noticed as we had 3 young children stay with us. But that’s being picky. Overall, perfect. Definitely would stay again.
- Sarah (8/5): Location good but parking to drop off luggage was not good - Property was good - slightly tired in places but beds were very comfortable The outside area needs some TLC
- David (9/5): Amazing location and house for family / friends - Absolutely fantastic location, so easy to get to pier, shops, bars and restaurants as well as main part of the beach. Odd that with such a large outside sunspot of a balcony not even a basic bbq offered.
- Heather (8/5): It didn’t stop us from having a great weekend but it would have been even better if we had felt comfortable that the hou - The House was in a great location- close to the beach, restaurants and arcades for our family of all ages. There is a lot of space too as we were a party of 11. Unfortunately the house was not very clean. Kitchen floor dirty, walls dirty and marked, seating dirty, generally needs a good thorough clean. Outside needs a tidy up too, loose paving slabs, weeds, birds poo and warped table tennis table!
- Elaine (7/5): -
- Shannon (1/5): We left the house clean to be told it was dirty even though the booking includes a 250 cleaning fee - Where is the flask you said you’d post out?
Please take videos in photos on arrival and departure for your safety and back up
- Nova (7/5): Work trip, great location - The location was great, the kitchen was well stocked and the showers were good. Dining room and lounge were a nice space and the terrace was a sun trap. It could have been cleaner, especially the terrace had rubbish on the floor, table tennis table was warped and the ball wasn't circular so not able to be played.
- Oli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Honey (9/5): Loved the stay, communication with the host was on point.and location was perfect - Location was perfect and very spacious There was no w/c on the 1st floor - we have to go upstairs Everytime. Also, there were only 2 toilet rolls for a group of 8+1 kid for 2 nights n 3 days. Also, gap between check in time or check out was too much - 6 hours is not ideal.
- Hope (6/5): Disappointed - pictures not recent - run down - The location to the beach and the view of the church. When we entered the property the carpets were dirty and I had to give the place a hoover before the rest of the party arrived.
The whole place felt very run down, dusty and not really clean. We did a clean of both bathrooms and floors just to get ride of the dusty/musty smell. Not ideal when you pay a cleaning fee.
I then had an issue with getting the hob to work. The owners didn't know how to give clear and quick answers on how to get the hob working. We had very young kids and as the owners where at a Pantomime, they advised they would get back to us after the show or during the interval.
The kitchen itself is not suitable for the amount of guests that the house holds. There is only a single door fridge freezer and a single oven and grill. The kitchen size proved difficult for storing food for 11 over the Christmas period and cooking one dish at a time due to the size of the oven.
There are two good size bathrooms but you can't use both showers at once. This was very inconvenient as we were a party of 11.
Where the Penthouse actually is. The entrance door is off a main road next to card factory shop (personal opinion). A photo of the front of the Penthouse should be on the site or a note that it's next to a shop.
- Sarah (10/5): Absolutely perfect place to celebrate the end of the old year and start of a new one with the extended family. - The location was absolutely perfect - close to the beach and the high street and a lovely view of the church. Great layout, fully equipped and lovely and warm. Owners were easily contactable too. It was great we could sleep 12 people but there weren’t enough seats in the living room for 12 people, and the dining table wasn’t big enough for 12 people. But we worked around that.
- Katherine (9/5): Great place - Location The twin beds were a little uncomfortable
- Sancaster (8/5): Very good - Location was great, clean, good price. Kitchen way too small for a house that was supposed to sleep 14( There were 9 of us)
Not enough of some kitchen items( mugs, spoons)
Couldn't have both showers in use at the same time.
Car parking was a big issue.
- Sofina (10/5): Great stay at a lovely property. - The property was in a great location and comfortably housed a large group of us. Nothing.
- Christopher (9/5): The Penthouse was perfect for our Cromer stop on our north Norfolk bike ride with friends - No breakfast supplied but we easily got supplies from the nearby Co-OP. Superb view overlooking the fine old church right in the middle of the town. We were given an old entry code which didn't work but were quickly able to obtain the correct one from Alex
- Lisa (10/5): Modern clean with great location - Great location, great facilities and decor Some of the beds weren’t very comfortable
- Rebecca (8/5): A great house for a large family and dog to be centered close to beach an town. -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barry (9/5): Fabulous location for a holiday - Very nice property in a fabulous location with lots of room for everybody. More worktop and storage space required in kitchen.Loft rooms very cold.
- Josie (9/5): Great location, felt very spacious for 12 people and loved having the terrace - Location was ideal - you can exit front or back and both take you straight into the town. There is a Co-op two doors down that shuts at 10, which was great. Three minutes walk to the beach, if that :) Possibly could have had some more outdoor furniture and dining space, and a big big saucepan / casserole type pot would be excellent. No negatives though!!
- Cox (9/5): Fantastic centrally located townhouse close to all amenities and a stones throw from the pier. - Fantastic central location. Great outdoor terrace space. Very clean and tidy with everything you could need to make for a very pleasant stay. Kitchen work space was very limited but this certainly doesn't detract from the positives that this property offers
- Nicholas (9/5): Outstanding time in a very comfortable and well-equipped flat in an excellent location. - Location, cleanliness, bathroom and showers.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - A great property in a great location. Very good comms from the owner too. The Penthouse had everything we needed and we were very well looked after, especially at such short notice.
- Anne (10/5): Wonderful - Had a wonderful stay at the Penthouse. In a perfect location. The place was warm and homely.
All the bedding was clean and fresh. Comfortable beds, apart from one (My teenage son said it was fine!!) Most were memory foam.
Kitchen was lovely. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cookware.
T.V had Netflix, Amazon etc. You just need to sign in.
Keybox was very easy to use.
Family of 11. Varying ages. All said they had a great time.
Recon we will be back. Packing to come home!
- Sarah (9/5): A really spacious place with an excellent location. - The flat is in an amazing location, we loved being able to see the church and high street from the window. The kitchen could be a little better equipped - no peeler, potato masher and very little prep area.
The terrace area is perfect for a bit of extra space for the kids, and a handy drying space for wet suits after the beach. Super handy to have the co-op right below to nip down to, as well.
Overall we were very impressed with how well presented the property was, it's size, location and all the information re parking etc that Alexandra sent out was very handy. Would stay again, and would highly recommend to a large family group who are ok with lots of stairs for access.
Loved it! Thanks.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (10/5): great place and location for a relaxing break - really clean, plenty of beds Can sleep lots of people but living room could certainly do with another sofa or something as only really sits 5. but we used the outdoor bean bags!
- Paul (9/5): Beautiful place to stay, in an excellent location, at an excellent price - The location, the decor, roof terrace and the size were excellent.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (8/5): A great base for a family beach holiday - Great location for a beach holiday. The house was decorated beautifully with plenty of sleeping space. Loved the terrace with table tennis table. Very good communication with the host. Lovely views from the bay windows, perfect view for Cromer Carnival. The kitchen could have been better equipped and set up for larger groups. There wasn't enough space for everyone to sit together, there were only 7 of us and we struggled to fit in the living room. A bit noisy at night from people and the church bells!
