Guest Reviews
- Steven (7/5): Cheap, but good value for the cost. The room was clean. - The venue was clean. It was bargain basement good value for money. It did the job for one night. If you want to stay somewhere with frills, then you'll need to pay more money and book elsewhere. There wasn't much furniture in the room. There was somewhere to hang your clothes, but no chair and no table (other than a bedside table).
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Will (1/5): Don't stay here, shared apartment not a self contained one - Nothing really Marketed as studio apartment when it's a room in a shared flat, other residents are noisy and slam doors all night, quiet period Is a load of rubbish and residents do make a lot of noise at night awaking me frequently.
Door locks are ridiculous, and customer service is terrible. I even messaged to ask if the apartment was a whole self contained apartment but it wasn't, even though they replied to me saying it was
- David (8/5): Handy location, but, being unmanned, you may experience problems! - It is centrally located in a suburb of Stourbridge. The en suite room was clean and tidy. And there is a separate communal kitchen for anyone wanting to make a cup of tea/coffee (there isn’t a kettle in the bedroom) or use the microwave to heat up some food. I had a major problem getting into it! It is unmanned, and entry codes are supposed to be sent to clients before they are due to check in. I didn’t get mine until I had actually reached Stourbridge and had contacted the management company to ask for them. Three codes in total: one for the outer door, another for an inner door and a third one to the actual bedroom door, which is the one that did not work! I was unable to contact the management team by phone (in London - it kept cutting off before anyone answered) but eventually managed to make contact by text and was sent a new code for the room which thankfully worked. But that delay lasted for almost an hour! In addition, the TV did not work and clearly had not done for some time, as it was unplugged! There is no car parking outside, as the location is on a busy road near a traffic light controlled intersection, but I did find somewhere free to park just a couple of streets away on the side road leading to back of the nearby shopping centre (turn left at the traffic lights by the property and take the next left, where there should be plenty of freely available parking).
- Emma (7/5): Good - the privacy and access to mini garden the smell in the room and the walls are dirty and carpets need cleaning
- Emma (7/5): Good - The price and the location, it's a decent place and room is standard. I like the accessibility and generally seems looked after It needs to be freshened and have an air freshener there's a scent in the place I had to buy a candle
- Maine (1/5): Terrible communication - I had a very difficult time communicating with the staff prior to the stay. They were clearly using chat GPT and copy pasting responses (prompts were left in the message), repeatedly asking for my card details for the £100 security deposit which I had already provided, and spamming messages repeatedly. I was assured that check-in details would be received by 2pm on the day of the stay, however despite chasing and requesting to cancel the booking when they were not received and alternative arrangements had to be made, I only received check-in details at around 5pm. This was too late and alternative arrangements had already been made, so I had put in a request to cancel the booking, which was ignored. I was offered a later check out time, despite stating I was not at the property, and the staff went back and forth with me on the terms and conditions of a refund. The booking was only cancelled as per my request after the original check out time, prior to which I continued receiving messages asking about how my stay was, despite numerous communications confirming I was not at the property.
- Anonymous (5/5): No wall fan in hot weather, no microwave - Location Facilities
- Alan (1/5): Stay away from this company - Absolutely nothing. We couldn’t get in the room. The staff on the phone were rude and not helpful Everything
- Jake (1/5): Bad -
- Jessica (5/5): Passable - NO REMOTE SO COULDN'T WATCH THE TV AND SOME OF THE OTHER GUESTS WERE REALLY LOUD AND DISTURBING SO COULDN'T SLEEP PROPERLY TILL LATE.
OVERALL THE LOCATION IS CONVENIENT FOR MY VISIT WILL STAY AGAIN DISPITE THE INCONVENIENCE FROM THE ABOVE MENTIONED. LOW BUDGET AND CLOSE TO LOTS OF SHOPPING AMENITIES.
- Wesleye (5/5): Good environment, dishonest people - Quite, peaceful environment The host didn't refund my deposit despite a call
- Jalal (6/5): Good - location, price Two times, the fire alarm keeps going on without any smoke or fire, and there's no hair blowing dry, but it's clean and suitable for this price
- Deepak (2/5): Will not be recommending to anyone - Not as described Nothing
- Roel (5/5): It’s alright but not worth for money really. - It accessible to my place of work just a bus ride. When I enter the first day on the room it smell cigarette disgusting.
Bed mattress are hard the spring are literally not comfortable to sleep..
It would be nice that you have kitchen with cooking wares ,plates and microwave to use.
You have to pay a damage deposit and it takes a week to return your money.
- J (10/5): Very comfortable bed warm had a good night sleep. - It was comfortable and homely I thought I was getting keys not the fact that I had to use a keypad to get in. And no staff on the premises but that you had to phone them for any assistance.
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Edina (1/5): Bad -
- Kevin (5/5): Fire Alarm House. - Excellent location, easy to get in & out, a good idea the communal kitchen.. unfortunately the fridge was already full & so was the washing machine, very clean room & a good shower. Fire alarms × 3 times in two days & I was told it happens A LOT !!
A man came about the alarm & said it had been activated from my room!!.
A COMPLETE TISSUE OF LIES!!. Nothing in my room & I don't smoke. The people in the ground floor flat used the oven in the kitchen ,& every time the alarm went off you could see from the street the oven was in use !!.
Only once was there someone else outside when the alarm went off, this man from upstairs turned the alarm off. Nobody else took any notice & came out, Two passers by told me it goes off All the time & the last time they said the fire brigade came. I looked at the revues & yes it's a massive problem.!! As for the lying worker I was worried about my deposit...I will never pay a deposit again & this was the first & last time I have, I didn't realise a deposit was required until I'd booked !! .
- Quang (1/5): Bad - This is a picture of someone opening the door and entering the house before we arrived. really terrible
- Fit (7/5): Good -
- Gabriel (10/5): Perfect - All
- Muno (1/5): Very poor service, smelly room, uncomfortable, no parking😢 😞 - Nothing The hosts were terrible. I called several times and were not responding, it was late and wanted to rest. A gentleman finally answered spoke a little then requested hung up, he sounded far, voice. I rang again several times then a lady responded, requested dle a £100 deposit saying if you don't do that no key code would be given. I asked for parking and she said she will only give me access to parking once deposit is paid.
This bring nonrefundable i gave her my card details then an email came through with code, flat 2 room 3 and links on access details.
I asked for parking and she said I can find parking on the street, it is all yellow lines else find a paid parking, directions given, a walk away..
I tried accessing flat three and the key code wasn't working. I rang several times only to be told the correct flat number is 4. I finally managed to get in, after three hours of trouble.
The room was smelly, little uncomfortable bed, a side table etc. Toilet was smelly, no fresheners.
The toilet seat shakes, scary. I was tired, then slept. On waking up, whilst taking a shower, the fire 🔥 alarm went off for whole building. I quickly tucked myself ran out, no fire guide then I stood outside. Two guests came and reset the system. I quickly finished. The shower curtain is on a makeshift sticking pole.
I left for work. I waited for my deposit refund for the whole week. There was no communication about promise to refund. I then rang, then a gentleman said this us normal it can take long. He promised someone would call me.
Another gentleman then called and promised to process my refund, which he did.
This was my worst experience. I don't recommend even those I don't live to risk their money and happiness.
It didn't feel safe all night, people going in and out.
Very poor service, smelly room.
- Courtney (3/5): Shocking - It was a modern room, I liked the carpet in the room that’s about it Bed was a terrible springy bed, only 1 pillow per person, my partner had to share a pillow with me because the pillow was flat. His neck hurt and we didn’t sleep all night because of this. Was nackered in the morning.
There was a disgusting smell coming from the bathroom it was a sewage smell, which ruined our stay completely. We had to pay a £100 deposit which was refunded to us 3 days later. Couldn’t use the shower in the morning as it was freezing cold , no hot water. It stayed on booking.com that it’s an apartment, it’s only a room with shower and bathroom facilities. Overall we was not pleased and will not be coming back here.
- Nathalia (2/5): Better don’t. - The door password was wrong when we first arrived.
Washing machine always busy. We couldn’t used.
I have 6 penalties tickets from they car park
Fire alarm as on constantly day and late night. In 2 weeks more than 5 times. And more than a hour for someone to sort it out
No freezer. No utensils in the kitchen. Dirty face towel in the toilet.
WiFi didn’t work properly.
- Marcel (1/5): Bad -
- Justin (8/5): Very good -
- Md (6/5): Too much complicated the process - Price for room was ok , There was £100 security money had to pay & supposed to return that money within 7 days I still didn’t received that.
- Luke (2/5): Won’t be back room was basic and nothing to use in the kitchen to cook with - Room was ok bed was passable but small shower was hot Access was awful codes didn’t work and take a deposit without saying and shower floods as curtain to short no mirror and the sink was made for a child
- Tamara (8/5): Very good -
- Kirby (1/5): Bad - nothing everything
- Shabi (8/5): Very good -
- Omer (4/5): Nice and clean but very troublesome - It was clean and spacious Sent wrong passwords for entry and Then the passwords kept changing throughout my stay and theres no wifi even though it says wifi included and the support team when struggling to enter didn't really help either and the alarm keeps going off for no reason and then try to take the call out from your deposit which is very cunning
- Tahir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bishop (1/5): Bad -
- Barrie (3/5): Clean but wouldn’t stay again - Modern and clean property When I arrived, the window to the room had been left open and it had rained so the carpet near the room was drenched. We had no water in the apartment, they did send someone out who fixed it later on at night but in the morning we had no water again
- Ibrat (1/5): Plz don't book we didn't get in till before 7pm were was contacting the property they didn't answer. - We were meant to check in at 3pm couldn't get in till 6.30pm the code they email is were wrong.

- Blessing (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful Clean
- Jon (1/5): Bad -
- Tristin (4/5): Disappointing - It was a cute room The fact that it was just a room and bathroom. It says whole apartment, but the kitchen is shared. The title and description was misleading
- Roberta (1/5): Never again - Nothing It was advertised as an entire apartment and it was room with shared kitchen. The room was small and with no windows but a skylight with no cover. It was stuffy and there was no airflow. On top of that it was very dirty! Pubic hairs on the bed, hairs everywhere especially in the sink and shower, stuff on the floor, dirt on the walls which were scratched and stained, and the carpet had not been hoovered. When I discussed this with the letting agent they were suspicious and unhelpful, often making comments that suggested that they thought I was lying even after sending the photos. I missed two important events that were the reason I was there in the first place and even got locked out when they changed the access code without informing me. Sleepless night and then locked out between 8 and 9.30 am!!!! Then I was ordered to leave in 15 minutes because my refund had been agreed. I hope they will return the money as the cost I have paid is much higher than that. Don’t go to this place unless you like being in a prison.
- Simon (1/5): Awfull - Nothing Room
Was dirty
- Donald (6/5): Pleasant - No breakfast. Cleanliness of the room and kitchen
- Sian (2/5): Very poor -
- Marcus (1/5): Bad - After arriving at the property the £100 deposit email had been sent but hadn’t been read as booked up paid £90 and got on with my day. After speaking to various people, on the fone numbers and emails provided for any advice or problems, we were unable to gain entry or get the correct instructions to enable us to get into our room. After 3 hours of sending ID and depositing £100 deposit we gave up and paid £30 for a taxi back to where we had apparently left for a weekend. And this was after paying a taxi getting there in the first place. So this was a total waste of time and money, which I respectfully ask to be refunded as the whole thing was shambles
- Ounéka (10/5): Very cool - The door code A guest woke up 3 days at 4.00am that disturb me a lot
- Keith (5/5): Passable - Very clean and comfortable Incorrect information on location, nearby companies had changed. No cups bowls cutlery so no ability to have a coffee or breakfast. Soaking wet shower mat when we arrived.

- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Leah (3/5): Poor -
- Aaliyah (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ashley (4/5): Not as good as it looks - The size of the room Bed was uncomfortable, duvet didn't fit the bed properly, door entry system was not explained very well, fire alarm went off, was finally silenced and hour later but was never reset for a day.
You have to share a kitchen.
Too many doors being banged by other people.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Marcella (1/5): Bad - I paid and wasn't given the code I want my.money back...the customer service man was disgusting and kept putting the phone down on me 9
- Chris (7/5): Good - Didn't like that there was no mirror at all in the property

- Mario (2/5): Very poor - They try to set me up about the shower curtain and the table which was already broken … im going to sue them i got videos and pictures as soon as i checked in with the table already broken
- Carol (9/5): Superb - The room was large and well maintained. All furnishings looked new.Quiet location easy to access and secure. Would have liked description to be clearer about shared kitchen. No cups available to make drinks.Could put a couple of cups in the room.
- Melvyn (8/5): when i had codes to get in all was very nice and clean with easy access. - When I made the breakfast it was not to bad could have been hotter and a bit more choice so I will try better next time
The place was very clean and welcoming towels folded nicely. Good heater and bathroom warm as well.
Shower was of a good pressure and water hot. When one gets the codes to get in all is very good . A large mirror would be an advantage. I had to make my own bed !!
- Kalvin (10/5): Clean, stylish and comfortable - Easy access and communication from the office. Stylish, clean and well equipped rooms and kitchen facilities were a bonus! Nothing, excellent value for money!
- James (10/5): Great value for what you get. Comfy beds and had a great night sleep. - Great facilities and spacious rooms. Kitchen was done to a high standard and had everything there you need. Nothing. It was a great stay for the money.
- Estrin (7/5): Good - Once I obtained access to the very clean premises with tea , coffee, and milk. Lots of towels and good feelings on entering ..Good location with easy parking The big problem of getting into premises given wrong codes and wrong room number
A woman whose English was not understandable, so very, very frustrated as emails sent on day moving in when on that day I did not have access to computer and Internet was very problematic.
- Portia (10/5): My stay was awesome and I loved the room. Will probably use the service on my next visit. - Clean with good bed
- Danielle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Estrin (8/5): Very good - Took time to get in to the property as wrong codes sent and girl on phone could not understand a word she said !!!!
Very clean and comfortable and warm. Good shower and bathroom No mirror anywhere .. girl on the phone was not good as we could not understand her and sent the wrong codes
- Estrin (7/5): Good - Once I got into premises, it was very clean and well maintained to be treated by coffee tea and milk with extra towels was very welcoming. Absolutely hated trying to get in when arrived no one to answer door tried phoning lots of times no answer. Was very tired and on edge after 3 hour drive at 5.30am just wanted to get into room . Got through on phone after more than half hour waite to be spoken to by girl who could not speak proper English and could not understand. Meanwhile my partner in London was also trying and she also could not understand. So I was locked out with receipt that I had paid and confirmation but no mention the property was unmanned. This was so bad then my partner was told had not filled a form out that I never received as I was driving and working all day so I could not fill it out nor could my partner so our daughter who lives near London eventually did it on her PC. So nearly two hours later got code to get in then wrong code for room and your girl on phone trying to talk English give us wrong code. She then gave us different code that eventually worked... this was so unsatisfactory to get this on arrival !!!! I hope we get codes and numbers well before arrival.....
- Elson (1/5): Bad - I pay and I can’t use the propertyy
- Stephen (1/5): Did not feel comfortable leaving our property in a room that anyone else in the building could get access to. - All flats had same key code to entrance and bedroom doors.
- Adam (1/5): It's a con. Took my money then couldn't get into property tried for nearly an HR. Coat me more as ha -
- Vincent (7/5): I would stay here again because the price was low. - I assume the building used to be a bank or something and is newly renovated so everything is still new which is nice. I liked the kitchen area outside of the room also. Chocolates on bed and plenty of towels. I did not find the bed very comfortable. And I assume the building is listed so the windows have had to stay single pane because the noise from the road was quite loud.
