Guest Reviews
- Gina86787 (4/5): Lage sehr gut sonst eher mau - sehr gute Lage Zimmer war im letzten Stock, kein direkter Liftzugang
WIFI/WLAN sehr schlechte Verbindung
direkt über dem Bett ist der Feuermelder der alle 20 sek. einen Lichtimpuls gibt, fand ich sehr störend.
Kein heisses Wasser am morgen zum duschen!
- Trott (10/5): - Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. Only one thing’ we had a few stairs to the room from the lift. Was ok for us as we pretty mobile for our age. Apart from that it was great
- lars912 (8/5): -
- Leigh (10/5): -
- Poisson (3/5): Overpriced based on the room have been offered - Location Everything is really old. Room really small. Curtail covering only 1 part of the window
- Rosalind (6/5): Expensive for what we had - The sea view and location Sand flies all in our room
The hotel is very dated
- Jean-Francois (6/5): -
- Philip (8/5): Great staff. excellent breakfast and superb value for money. - Very nice clean room, breakfast was excellent and the staff were charming, we will be returning in the future. All good, very enjoyable stay, all my friends said they would return
- Paul (9/5): Great spot - On seafront Bit tired
- Kelly (10/5): Enjoyed so much, spent a second night - Friendly staff. Comfortable & clean room.
- Lloyd (8/5): - Close to the beach and town center. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very good and friendly.Wil book again for a good price. Stairs are narrow in corners. Partner has visions impairment.
- cooper (10/5): -
- Devey (9/5): - Good location Room was lovely but curtains didn’t cover the windows and was hanging off the poles. This was the only thing that let room down .
- Rachel (7/5): -
- Sonya (9/5): - We love the location and have stayed here four times. The hotel is spotless and the staff are so friendly and very caring to the mostly elderly customers. Nothing

- louise (8/5): Short break lovely sea view room - Friendly staff had everything we needed, great entertainment Check out was too early 10am
- Malcolm (9/5): Great hotel of you are over 50 - The room was large warm and comfortable even without a sea view it was great value for money. There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
- Iwan (10/5): - the staff where fantastic the amount of doors to get with a toddler
- Joe (9/5): Great hotel, perfect location, very helpful happy staff. Would definitely staff here again - Great location, friendly staff, great breakfast No parking
- John (10/5): a very friendly welcoming Hotel centrally located - very central with great ocean views
- James (6/5): - The location The floor boards where noisy you could hear everyone moving around the beds where uncomfortable very hard and the view was next door hotel
- Stephen (8/5): Nice stay in a very nice hotel - Nice clean room very nice bathroom with walk in shower. Very nice evening meal and very good breakfast. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the first room we were allocated was on the top floor only accessible by a lift then a set of awkward stairs. Fortunately on request the room was changed for us so if you are thinking of booking and have mobility issues check with the hotel first
- Liz (9/5): -
- Ross (10/5): - Enjoyed the stay, loverly sea view, very peaceful stay,
- Penelope (7/5): - The location was very good. We did not book in for breakfast.
- Brenda (8/5): Would definitely use this hotel again. - Couldn't be a better location for breakfast, looking out over the bay. The staff had gone to a lot of trouble, offering pasta then baked potatoes for residents and passers by for the Ironman weekend. A nice touch was offering toilet facilities, charging £1 for charity. They had really gone into the spirit of the event. Breakfast the second morning was much better - more freshly cooked.
- Sarah (7/5): -
- Julie (9/5): Great location staff friendly - Friendly staff Was a bit dated
- Deborah (8/5): -
- yvonne (10/5): I absolutely loved my stay - Very very friendly staff
Clean
- Carla (8/5): -
- Tracy (1/5): - The hotel was closed on arrival even though we had paid in full and early that day offered early check in for an additional cost. We were left 100 miles from home with no where to go. The area has poor signal so could not contact booking com or the hotel. We ended up spending double as had to check into the near by Premier Inn
- Lisa (10/5): -
- rebeka (9/5): - Very comfortable bed, ,clean room and good location
Beautiful view Unfortunately the one thing that I didn't like: , There was no WiFi..or for very short time but very poor quality
- Lynne (10/5): Excellent - The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent. What more can I say!!! Nothing
- bonita (10/5): - Very friendly staff who went over and above expectations and made us feel welcome and fab! Nil
- Tucker (7/5): -
- Rees (8/5): -
- Sharon (7/5): Eventful but good - Beautiful picture window overlooking the beach. Great location. Clean. Staff very helpful It was a room for 3 but only 2 sets of towels, cups etc no toilet roll but all corrected when asked.
Unfortunately we got stuck in the room as the lock broke on inside. Manager had to provide screw drivers do we could undo window safety plate to allow him in to fix door.
- Damian (7/5): Lovely hotel, great staff and lovely breakfast - Nice and clean It was way up in the attic, causing it to be very hot and uncomfortable and the WiFi didn’t work up so high.
- Mike (9/5): -
- Dylan (9/5): Very good, will recommend for anyone doing the IRONMAN and similar events - Staff were lovely
Food was ok
Room was lovely Clean & tidy
Lovely bed
- Suzanne (9/5): - The view was the best , beds comfy as well A little dated
- Alan (8/5): Friendly, great service - I cycled from Gloucestershire and the hotel was very accommodating for secure bike storage It was fine
- Rod (10/5): Excellent stay, value for money, very clean - Very friendly staff, hotel and room very clean 👌
- Julie (9/5): - The location was amazing. On sea front and within 5 mins walk of town, restaurants, shops and harbour. The lack of parking in the area
- Tripp (8/5): If you want pleasant staff and a nice atmosphere, give them a try. - Exceptional staff from management, reception, waitress to cleaners. All smiling, helpful and friendly.
Room was well appointed.
I have small mobility issues that were easily circumvented by the staff's willingness to help.
Lots of choices for breakfast menu too.
We are an older couple so the quieter atmosphere was great but had a very lively crowd in on the Saturday and it was still perfect for us.
I took no photos of room but it was a cosy 2 person with an amazing shower, loads of room in it and water pressure top notch.
All in all a really good stay. Tight spacing in dining room. I am no longer a size 6 (UK size)
- hui (10/5): -
- Sonya (10/5): A lovely overnight stay - Location/super friendly staff
The view from the room was beautiful Nothing
- Kelly (3/5): - The location and view were the only saving graces.. The room smelt musky, was outdated, and there was an overwhelming smell that someone had used the toilet to have a no2, we left the window open, and it cleared, but it wasn't nice to walk into.
- Dalal (8/5): كنت جدا مرتاح - انه نظيف جدا مريح مكانه جدا رائع انه الغرف اللي ع اطلاله المدينه شبه صغيره
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Pleasant - Location, friendly staff, very clean room and hotel well looked after N/A
- LenB (8/5): Clean hotel in perfect location.. - Perfect location for North Beach & town centre bars & restaurants.Staff very friendly & helpful.Room clean ,breakfast was excellent . A little dated ,but for a 1 night stay ,it was perfect for us too have 2 days on the beach .If you want top class accommodation pay top doller money ,but for what we wanted it was perfect .
- Ronald (7/5): - Fantastische plek en zeer vriendelijk personeel Kamer boven de keuken, frituur lucht en lawaai
Vooral locatie voor senioren
- Afful (6/5): -
- Colin (8/5): Excellent sea-front location; close to station; very friendly and efficient staff. - Room was clean and comfortable although we didn't get a sea view.
Breakfast was ample and very good value. The staff handled a 'full house' very efficiently and were very friendly in spite of the pressure. Wifi did not work properly and sometimes the TV lost its signal.
- Emma (4/5): - Location Lack of consideration for guests. Was woken up at 6am by pots and pans banging, doors slamming and talking from what was assumed to be the kitchen.
Also kept up the night before by what sounded like beer barrels being thrown around until 11.30 at night.
- Colin (10/5): -
- qiuying (8/5): -
- Sarah (9/5): Great clean hotel, although a little dated with deco, fantastic views and location . - Location, sea view, and staff all polite, friendly and professional Loved the property, the bed for our liking was a little hard so found it difficult to get comfortable to sleep.
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): - It was perfect. Staff fabulous. Will be back! We had alot of fun great food and voila on location. I was on floor 5 comfortable nights sleep and met lots of lovely older people. Danced sang. It was great just by the town for shopping and the beach 1 min from hotel. I also found a terrace outside the front of the hotel in the cliff the gardens where i could pop out with a coffee or glass of wine and sit and admire the views and have a sneaky cigarette. Loved the place. Very hot on the 5th floor but its summer so drew the curtains like anywhere.
- Thomas (10/5): Parfait - Top, hôtel propre, grande chambre, au calme, très bien situé. Attention parking un peu loin mais pas gênant
- Luke (10/5): -
- Rachel (7/5): Amazing location, friendly staff - Stunning view, good breakfast, very helpful friendly staff, excellent location overlooking beach; close to shops and restaurants, 5 mins walk from train station and local bus stop, great welcome from staff, would recommend Room very hot, small table fan provided. Windows only open few inches (for safety reasons). Traveled when really hot so not hotel’s fault but better fan would help future guests.
- Tim (8/5): Comfortable, great view, welcoming staff - My room was at the front. I overlooked one of the beaches. Everything I needed As with a lot of hotels no car park. Parking in Tenby in busy periods isn’t great
- Stephen (7/5): -
- derek (10/5): -
- deborah (9/5): Great value hotel room with lovely breakfast. - The price
The breakfast
Nice bathroom
Polite Staff
- Rebecca (10/5): Lovely quiet hotel, with everything you need and expect! - The property was perfectly situated for our stay at the Long Course weekend. We had a beautiful bay window looking over North beach (Room 1). The room was modernised, spacious and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. There were ample tea and coffee supplies and water in the fridge too. Breakfast was very tasty and filling for a very affordable addition to our room rate.
- stephane (8/5): Très bon accueil dans un hôtel d'époque. Superbe vue . Proximité plage , ville. - Très bon accueil dans un hôtel d'époque Le parking
- Jesse (10/5): - Absolutely incredible view, great location, kind and helpful staff. A nice, older crowd who were full of life and danced to the music of the local artist who performed there. Clean showers, beds, etc. Incredible value for the accommodation. My room was outside of the range of the WiFi connection. Fine for a night, but this would have bothered me had I stayed longer. I didn't bother to ask if this was something that could be remedied because I had fine 5G service.
- Samantha (3/5): Way too hot in room staff on reception not so nice.not very disability friendly at all very unhelpful - Close to town Staff not helpful apart from evening receptionist who was also cleaning.
- Tracey (9/5): - The view
- Suzanne (9/5): -
- Nnaemeka (10/5): Exciting and rewarding - The ocean view and the serene environment None
- Johal (8/5): -
- Timothy (7/5): Great apart from the lift's - The lift didn't work and we were on the top floor. I had a problem with the stairs as I have a bad hip but it was even more difficult for those people over 80. I felt for them.
- Rosie (5/5): - Location Our room, dark and depressing like a little box..Breakfast room, tables far too close together for comfort...
- Frank (2/5): -
- Tiwari (9/5): Amazing - The view is amazing. We booked the sea view room. Loved it. I didn’t slept whole night I was just watching at the windows 😂 Well there were stains at the bedsheets. We noticed in morning.
- Moore (9/5): Excellent service .Cleanliness was excellent. -
- Bella (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms and new bathrooms, excellent location and views! We really enjoyed our stay here.
- Simon (8/5): -
- Emma (6/5): - Location was good Our room was opposite the men's toilets
- Gaskin (5/5): -
- Susan (10/5): We had an amazing stay - The hotel was clean and tidy , all the staff were very friendly and helpful, very good breakfast we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back no parking but we managed to park just a short walk away ! There was a few places that let down the hotel but there are plans for lots of work on the hotel
- Ian (10/5): -
- Craig (9/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Comfortable - Off season, so it was a very good price - but I would have been happy without discount. Room was clean and comfortable - it was very quiet, but there were only a few guests. Tea, coffee, biscuits provided. Morning fry up was impressive- my second day I just had a toasted bacon sandwich to leave room for the rest of the day. Supermarket across the road for supplies. Short walk into town. Nothing- I’d be happy to stay here again.
- kirsty (9/5): Loved stay prefect location definitely go back - Staff very helpful & friendly
- Leah (5/5): Ok. Not worth the money. - The hotel is in a good location right on the front with lovely views. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Slow service, but staff were clearly very busy and they did their best to get everyone sorted as soon as they could. The hotel is quite old fashioned and run down. The ceiling in our room was cracked and brown where it looked like it had previously been leaking and the whole room was tilted - could have rolled a ball from one side of the floor to the other. It was very loud at night. You could hear the floors creaking above and someone was banging a door very loudly repetitively in the middle of the night. Sounded like someone was annoyed. Not worth the £118 for the night. You can stay at the 5* Celtic Manor Resort for less than that.
- Laura (9/5): -
- Ryan (9/5): - Friendly staff, large rooms with modern decor. Ceiling height was a little low in the bathroom and we are tall so shower wasn't ideal but overall great.
- Richard (9/5): Fantastic location...lovely hotel - Fantastic location, lovely comfy clean room and ensuite. Comfy bed, lovely breakfast. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Great value for money. The gull looking in at the window when we opened the curtains made us smile....will definitely return Nothing to dislike
- DEBRA (8/5): Great hotel. - Great location, comfy rooms, fab staff, and good breakfast. The room was at the back of the hotel, got a bit noisy ( extractor fans, i think), when the kitchen started cooking for breakfast.
