- Selina (10/5): Good value for money definitely booking again - It’s a lot better in person had two spaces bedrooms big living room and kitchen. The house was tidy and got warm quick. N/A
- Tharusha (10/5): Great place. Very clean and tidy. Host was very helpful. - Clean and tidy None
- Angelique (8/5): - Big, spacious well equipped kitchen Took a while to find, had to figure out how to turn on the heating
- James (2/5): Damp, drafty, noisy. - Space Bathroom window broken/open (noise and draft as a result).
Damp towels
Damp smelling bedding.
Dirty carpets
Funny smell in property (using airfreshners to try to mask).
Only 2 towels for 4 guests.
Hot Water pressure very low, shower not very good.
No anti slip mat for bath/shower.
- Samantha (7/5): Great location and house! Just needs some TLC - House was bigger than we thought! It's a lovely home with clean beds. The location was very convenient as we were only 7 minutes from Thorpe park and had a Sainsbury's just down the road. It was quite pleasant having the whole house to ourselves. Easy check in and check out.. The owner was lovely and very helpful especially when we couldn't find the lockbox at first. We did however encounter some minor problems. The main problem we had was the heating, it didn't work during the night and unfortunately the window in the bathroom was broken and was constantly open which meant there was always a cold draft through the house. A few light bulbs weren't working and there are areas of the house that are in need of some TLC. The driveway is very small and the driver of our group struggled with getting in and out with the angle and main road being constantly busy. The house is right next to the railway line so it can be noisy. This didn't bother us too much though but it may bother others.
- Magda (5/5): Nothing much, but convenient if you’re just needing somewhere to stay. - Big house, decent location with driveway for a small car Possibly the most uncomfortable beds we’ve experienced, super low quality bedding
Shower was just awful with no water pressure - not fit for use.
- Craig31 (10/5): - Extremely good location. Verily clean house. Easy check-in.
Local to shops pubs and plenty of eating places
- Caroline (10/5): Easy to find, very comfortable beds and all very clean -
- Bradley (9/5): Would book again - Close to where I was working. Very clean too WiFi was a little bit slow but not essential for my stay.
- Faik (5/5): Adequate, a lot of people complained about the tiny drive but I found it easy to park. - The coded box fell of the floor as soon as we touched it. It was very hard to open it at dark.

- Wooster12 (10/5): - Such a lovely house.
So very comfortable, great location for local pubs and restaurants.
Really easy and friendly to liase with. Nothing. It was lovely
- Lee (10/5): -
- James (3/5): Dirty, false advertising and in need of renovation. - Good location and a private drive. That’s it. Dirty, falsely advertised as having 3 beds (only two). Kitchen cupboards hanging off.
- Christine (1/5): Rundown and not as advertised - Wasn't able to stay as not suitable Advertised as having 2 double beds and a sofa bed, there is no sofa bed. Rang the owner and agreed to leave and claim a full refund. Owner then changed her mind so now having to claim off my credit card. Apart from that the property is run down and in a state of disrepair with bashed in doors. Broken piano in hallway, strange office set up in front room. Awful driveway at an odd angle too small to fit my car on. Outside property looks run down. Owner said I shouldnt expect much for that price in London !! Only good bit was closed location to thorpe park, not much use when I couldnt stay and had a nice 5 hour drive home

- Vivek (10/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): - Everything was perfect, spacious, well equipped, clean. It was perfect for what we needed. Nothing
- Linda (8/5): - This house was perfectly situated for thorpe park, Sainsbury's a couple of minutes away, a very big retail park. On a nice road but the parking can be challenging. This was a functional house with everything you need for a couple of nights stay.
Very close to a gated train track, no good if you are in a hurry 😁

- Judith (4/5): Behalve de ruimte, hebben wij niets positiefs aan dit huis kunnen vinden. - Een ruim huis. De trein die iedere twee minuten langs het huis denderde. Veel achterstallig onderhoud. TV werkte niet.
- Monika (3/5): - Bequeme, saubere Betten Nicht genügend Handtücher, kein Küchentuch, Gasherd ohne Anzünder / Zündhölzer, TV ohne Sender, kein Internet, kaputtes Mobiliar, Geschirrspüler vorhanden aber defekt, Garten verwildert und ungemütlich, sehr laut (Eisenbahn, Flugzeuge, stark befahrene Strasse, Fenster nicht schallisoliert), Waschmaschine enthält noch nasse Wäsche, muffiger Geruch im ganzen Haus und viele Spinnweben. Sehr schwacher Wasserdruck bei der Dusche.
- Aaron (8/5): Great value for money. - Great location, easy check in and out. 5 minute walk to Sainsbury’s and 5 minute drive to Thorpe park Some food residue visible under the sofa besides this all was good.
- Bradley (7/5): Good - Had a lot of space Wasn’t clean
- Dai (10/5): Beautiful property, brilliant location for our plans - Easy, Spoke with host prior All was OK
- Ait (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cravioto (2/5): Very poor - Location Place was dirty, my child and his friends found empty drug packets, cigarette butts, place had a horrible smell, garden was unkempt, no settee bed as on description and beds were very uncomfortable and poor quality sheets
- Mark (8/5): Super value, excellent stay. Thank you. - Very good value, large property and close to town A couple of light bulbs were not working
- Katy (5/5): Acceptable for one night - Access to local facilities As described by other reviewers. Property is very tired and in need of some TLC. New shower head needed. No WiFi working so no TV either.
- Ysanne (5/5): OK but I was hoping for better. - Location of house was good. House bigger than indicated on Booking.com. Decent size kitchen. The place needs a good deep clean. It was dirty. Upstairs toilet does not work properly. Inadequate toilet paper provided. Could use more equipment in kitchen. Quite a few light bulbs burnt out. Front door a little difficult to open. Getting out of the driveway very challenging as it is on a slope and it is a busy road. Garden could be nice but it needs a lot of work. Quite a noisy area.
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Kris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kris (10/5): Top stay - Everything Nothing
- Nathandjh (7/5): Great stay for Thorpe Park! - House was much larger than we realised so there was loads of room. We stayed to go Thorpe Park so being a 6 min drive was very convenient. And just a little walk to shops and town for anything you need. There was no sofa bed as stated, but sofa was comfy enough. Not really a fault of the house but found it a little awkward to spot from the road/maps location. Could have done with prior instructions for the key as had to ring to find out how to get it. Parking a little tight for some cars. None of this takes away from the house was great to stay in!
- Andrew (7/5): Good budget accommodation for a small family. - Second floor bedrooms and shower were lovely. Internet was good. Spacious duplex. Power was a little sensitive. There was no plug (stopper) for the sink, so I found it difficult to wash the dishes. There is a dishwasher, but no chemicals for the dishwasher. Garden needs some work.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (8/5): Good overnight stay. - Good location, off street parking (we fitted a Volvo estate ok), clean and comfortable beds. Two loos always nice to have! Communication with Sophie very good. There is no sofa bed as mentioned in description for sleeping flexibility if this is important. Good small enclosed garden for dog to stretch legs.
- Sheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lianne (1/5): Would not stay here again, extremely unclean property - The location of the property is about the only good feedback I can provide. I know the area well so when booking I already knew where it was located and one of the primary reasons for booking. The property was filthy! Broken bathroom window meant it was very cold throughout the property with a constant draft coming through. The shower is a dribble of water and makes showering almost impossible. The door to the kitchen was broken and had to be propped open by a chair, there was a heap of rubbish in the back garden, the garden is very overgrown. When flagging this to the property owner they advised me that the previous people who had stayed had trashed the place and it was not possible for the cleaners to clean properly before I checked in. It would have been good to have been told this before arriving and given the option of a later check out to allow for the property to be cleaned. There was dust, hairs, unclean crockery and cutlery, urine over the toilet seat. I purchased cleaning products and cleaned as best I could which you should not have to do when paying to stay! There are lots of areas that haven’t been cleaned for a long time, regardless of the previous people staying there. The property owner has said they will not compensate me. I really wouldn’t recommend booking to stay in this property. I wish I had taken more photos to show others and customer service how bad it was.
- Sarahboo (9/5): Superb -
- Godfrey (7/5): It was comforting - It was very cosy and very convenient to get into town It was quite messy when we arrived also very cold
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Agathe (6/5): Pleasant - nice house unprepared for our arrival : no heat when we arrived, a window broken and open, impossible to close it, internet out of order, washdisher out of order, vaccum extractor out of order.
- Elissa (7/5): Good -
- Gillmore (6/5): Weekend stay - The house is great and very comfortable. Parking for one small car. Clean beds. Owner very pleasant and did communicate with us.
Everything we needed was there. Neither the TV nor WiFi were working. We reported this but unfortunately it was not fixed for the entire duration of our stay so we had to do without both.
Some parts of the house are a little tired e.g. door handle falls off in kitchen etc.
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Harvey (7/5): Disappointing - Location was very good for us,and the off road parking although a little tight for a large vehicle was very useful The house is of a good size, but needs some TLC,a broken window in the bathroom allowed a constant draft through the house, the lack of a washing up bowl or plug to put in the kitchen sink meant that washing was very difficult, nowhere near enough cutlery to use in-between courses without having to wash the used cutlery each time.No information pack supplied, these are just some of the things we came across during our week long stay.
- Jared (9/5): Festive family visit - 1. It is located perfectly for Staines and nearby areas where we have family.
2. The garden is large enough for a medium-sized dog or two.
3. The facilities were of decent quality and worth the booking price.
4. The owner was very helpful with access. The driveway is a little tight, but we reversed in ok with a little care.
- Kartik (9/5): Superb - It's a great location for Staines town which was my main purpose for the stay. It is the full house so ideal for a friends or family with a lot of space to relax as well and sleep.
- Stoppa (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (9/5): just right - the central heating worked well once it came on but it would have been better to arive to a warm house
- Andrew (9/5): Efficient, repsonsive owner. Location is excellent for town, airport, M25. - Location. No fuss. Clear easy communication with owners. Good value. Car parking was awkward.Rail level crossing a pain.
- Othman (9/5): I would definitely recommend it to others. - I wanted to share my experience at the house I rented for my holiday. The house itself was great, and the location was excellent. We had a wonderful time there, and I would definitely recommend it to others. However, I did encounter a couple of issues. The heating did not work at night, although it was functioning during the day. Additionally, sometimes the hot water wouldn’t work at night either. Aside from these problems, everything else was wonderful.
- Susan (8/5): House very clean well equipped Bed and bedding very comfortable . - It had a garden. Off Road parking just.. Close to centre of Stains, A heater was provided Heating could have come on earlier. Being a couple in our 70's10.00pm in the evening was too late. Off road parking was very tight and had to be careful not to hit the house. Also noisy.
- Jo (9/5): East’s booking and getting access to the house! - Excellent location to Thorpe park
Parking on drive Close to Trainline but not used to too much noise living in Devon!
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chikaera (10/5): Nice home - Clean Nothing
- Fatma (9/5): It was pleasant overall - The beds were really comfortable.
