- Nick (8/5): Hotel Foroyar heeft een prachtige ligging, vriendelijk personeel en goed eten. - Het hotel voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. Het is mooi gelegen, met een prachtig uitzicht over Tórshavn vanuit zowel de kamer als de ontbijtzaal. Het eten was ruim voldoende en gevarieerd. Het personeel was vriendelijk. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was in orde. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben wij niets negatiefs ervaren.
- Maciej (8/5): Super udany pobyt! - Super lokalizacja i miejsce. Fajna miejscówka do wypadów na piesze wycieczki. Widok na miasto. Ogólnie bardzo pozytywne wrażenie. Sam hotel nie jest super tani, ale to cena za jakość. Zdecydowanie polecam. Zdjęcia poglądowe apartamentów nie oddają całkowicie jakości wykonania. W apartamencie nie ma min baru lub po prostu zwykłej lodówki. To chyba największy minus. Powinno to być napisane przy wyborze miejsc, bo lodówka nawet pusta jest raczej standardem.

- Dunia (9/5): Fantastisk hotel med den bedste udsigt - Virkelig fint hotel med store værelser og en helt fantastisk udsigt! Der er gode parkeringsmuligheder. Morgenmadsbuffeten var rigtig fin. Desuden en lækker spa afdeling med en ligeså formidabel udsigt over Thorshavn. Det er placeret i udkanten af byen, men det var kun rart for os. Der er pænt og rent og venlig betjening. Vi var virkelig glade for vores valg og nød at være der. Der var kaos ved morgenbuffeten i weekenden. De øvrige dage var fine, men lørdag og søndag var det for travlt og personalet havde lidt svært ved at følge med i forhold til rent service, opfyldning mv. Bordene er placeret for tæt på anretningerne, når der er så mange mennesker, der skal tage mad på en gang. Nøglekortene til værelse virkede igen og igen ikke - og det var lidt trættende at skulle op i receptionen løbende for at få dem fikset på næsten daglig basis. Derudover kunne det måske være fint med et lidt bredere menukort til aften, når man nu er lidt væk fra byens andre spisesteder. Men ellers er det ikke en finger at sætte på noget. Virkelig skønt sted, som vi vil vende tilbage til, hvis vi tager til Færøerne igen.

- Timo (8/5): Upeissa maisemissa rauhallisessa hotellissa ja heti aamusta pääsi aamiaiselle, kiitos! - Erinomaisen hyvä aamiainen, joka oli tarjolla jo klo 6.00 - hienoa, että varhain heräävätkin on huomioitu tässä hotellissa. Maisemat ikkunasta kaupungille ja satamaan hienot. Sisään- ja uloskirjautuminen erittäin nopeata ja joustavaa sekä ystävällistä. Varsin rauhallinen ja hiljainen hotellihuone, hyvät pysäköintitilat. Huoneen siisteydessä olisi ollut toivomisen varaa, vanhan hotellin vanhat kokolattiamatot olivat harmillisen epäsiistejä. Siivooja ei myöskään täyttänyt suihkusaippuaa vaikka olimme pullon telineestä irroittaneet, vasta seuraavana päivänä saippua täydentyi, kun siirsimme tyhjän saippuapullon keskelle lattiaa. Vähän terästystä siivoukseen ja huoneiden perusteelliseen siistimiseen (erityisesti matot), niin arvosana olisi parempi.

- Hong Duc (5/5): - - the bed and room was confortable It isn’t worth the 4 stars it has. - Breakfast : simple, anything one can find in a less expensive hotel - Dinner : in the restaurant upstairs and the lobby, half of the time it was served lukewarm. And the Check-in, the receptionnist didn’t tell me that a reservation was necessary to have a table in the restaurant. So the other half I couldn’t eat in the restaurant. - Personal : the service was okay, but maybe they should hire more people. The personal seemed overcharged with at the end of my stay, when the vacations started. - Noice : the last two days were horrible concerning the noice. Children were running in the corridor and you can hear and feel their steps inside the room.

- Gunnhild (7/5): Behageligt - Dejlig seng og sengetøj Prøvede en hel dag at få fat på hotellet hele fredagen inden pr tlf, og kom ikke igennem. Var bå ventetone 2x 40 min - det kan i hvertfald gøres bedre! Der var 2 skeer til Kaffe/the inde på værelset, hvoraf en var tydelig beskidt fra kaffe fra forrige lejer. Ellers kan hotellet prøve at kikke på fugerne i badet - da der er obninger hvorigennem vand kan komme - og gøre vandskade - ikke betydeligt meget, men men.

- Elisabeth (6/5): - Det var let at komme til efter en lang færgetur, hvor vi ankom sent på aften/natten, og første gang på Færøerne. Sød og imødekommende personale. Kæmpe plus med vaskerum, hvor der var alt hvad man skulle bruge. Lidt dårlig plads i morgenmads området, svært ved at finde bord/plads, både i stuen og på 1 sal. Dårlig kaffe og te. Kedeligt udvalg til morgenmaden. Ærgerligt vi ikke nåede at bruge pool mv. nu når der var mulighed.

- Shiv-Louis (9/5): Magical Faroe Islands experience. - Beautiful and unique. Spa was amazing, so was breakfast. It’s an almost otherworldly experience being perched up there! We had some communication issues with reservations for the restaurant and the staff weren’t particularly receptive of our frustration when this occurred. Front desk was nice and mostly made it up to us though.

Petit bémol: La salle de bain avait une paroie entièrement vitrée qu'on pouvait rendre opaque ou translucide pour apprécier la vue sur la mer. Fabuleux! Cependant, la nuit - même avec la vitre opaque, quand on allume la lumière à la salle bain, on réveille toute la chambre! Dommage

- Emma (10/5): - Hotel není přímo v centru města, ale dá se tam pohodlně dojít pěšky zhruba za cca 30 minut. Díky tomu je ale zasazen do klidné lokality. Bylo vidět, že pokoj už něco zažil (tak různě poškrábané kousky na lavici, kam se odkládaly věci, na stole nějaké fleky, ale toť vše z negativního dojmu), velmi měkké postele, koupelna čistá, krásný výhled z pokoje. A snídaně... ty byly naprosto dokonalé. Asi jsme nikde neměli lepší. Vajíčka chutnaly jako vajíčka, když jste přišli hned na sedmou ráno, tak ještě teplé pečivo, vše velmi, velmi dobré.

- Mary (8/5): Quiet sophisticated hotel on edge of Torshavn - I liked the look of it, blending in with the surrounding hill. I liked the modern concrete surfaces inside and the clean feel. The breakfast was very good even though they ran out of oat milk. Even though I knew it was a little out of the town, I hadn’t realised it was up a long steep hill from town. It took 20 minutes to get there but longer coming back. This meant I couldn’t easily hop on a bus or ferry. Also, even though I was told my single room was in another building, it hadn’t dawned on me how far away it would be, and that this could necessitate coming to breakfast in rain gear and waterproof boots. In case it rain as I walked back..I hadn’t realised I would not be facing the sea as in the front buildings. If you have a car, these things would be no problem and the room itself was cosy and comfortable.

Simpatia e disponibilidade dos funcionários. Bom pequeno-almoço na sala do restaurante com vista sobre o mar e belíssima luz matinal. Da cidade para o hotel pequena subida de pouco menos de meia hora - o que é saudável.
- Brian (6/5): ok - Fint hotel med god udsigt. God beliggenhed, hvis man kan finde vej. Vejen til Hotellet er lavet om. Den nye vej kan ikke findes og der er ingen skiltning. Til trods for at man har kørt rundt i 40 min. for at lede efter hotellet, var der ingen hjælp i restauranten - den var åben, der var masser af ledige borde, der var andre gæster, der var personale.

- Adam (8/5): Nie było źle, ale od tej klasy obiektów osobiście oczekuje, by było przynajmniej bardzo dobrze. - Za mało miejsca w restauracji. Zdarzało się, że trzeba było czekać, by usiąść. Jakość jedzenia ok, mogłaby być większa różnorodność. Bardzo mało produktów regionalnych. Dodatkowe opłaty za udogodnienia dla gości hotelowych. Dla mnie to niedorzeczne, by w drogim hotelu oczekiwano dodatkowej opłaty za skorzystanie z basenu, czy strefy SPA. Brak dostępu do restauracji hotelowej bez rezerwacji.... Być może w sezonie nie należy przyjmować gości z zewnątrz... Bez sensu jest szukanie zewnętrznych restauracji, gdy mieszka się w dobrym hotelu. Przez 6 dni pobytu nam nie udało się zjeść w hotelowej restauracji.
- guillaume (8/5): Un bel établissement à recommander - L'hôtel foroyar est un très bel établissement, nous avions une grande chambre type studio et nous étions à l'aise à trois personnes, de la place pour les bagages et nos affaires avec un salon et une porte fenêtre sur l'extérieur. La salle de bain est très bien,fonctionnelle. L'hôtel est moderne, le cadre est apaisant l'environnement calme, l'hôtel offre des prestations type spa massages soins, cet un endroit à recommander aux Ïles Féroé. Nous avons apprécié les quatre jours passées dans cet etablissement le canapé lit n'est pas très confortable et il nous a fallu demander des oreillers supplémentaires qui ne sont pas souples du tout et malgré cela ce n'était pas le confort que nous espérions, dommage pour un tel établissement. Le point noir c'est le matin au petit déjeuner qui est servi dans une salle à l'étage qui n'est pas assez grande pour accueillir tous les clients aux heures les plus fréquentées. il y a beaucoup de monde dans une petite salle et pas assez de place pour tous, ce qui est très désagréable et pénible tous les matins, ce n'est pas compréhensible pour un hôtel de ce standing.
